We are far beyond the need for them in today's world beyond academic, historical study. Very different than the relaxing intro with Gabriel and his lanterns and candles. I thought the angel gabriel was edgelording the churches but I guess he was serious.

I don't know if that's just for Jews or not. all humanity, Jews and non-Jews alike, get a share of paradise, but to the extent of their righteousness is how good it is. (so rather than a heaven and hell dichotomy, it's more like a continuum). I believe that the belief is that over periods of "time" after death, they can rise, but that might just be my interpretation.
