Great video, this mentality of playing selfish got me to Emerald 2 even tho I started this split in Platinum 4. I’m ADC main and I had to adapt to Soloq chaos. If I’m not Duoq then I just pick Sivir/Ziggs/Seraphine and farm safe or MF if we have wombo combo
I mean... these days (and I mean since patch 10.8) even the likes of Elise and Lee Sin are full clearing half of the time, so the answer is fairly obvious.
I disagree. Looking at low elo games, a lot of kills are really just free kills, players extend like crazy. But again it all depends on what you're good at, if you have good intuition for kills you should play for kills.
@@whynotbelk Low elo players give more openings, yes. At the same time, with two to three camps you get just about the same gold and substantially more exp than you'd get with a kill. Ganking is a high risk, high reward strategy. Farming, meanwhile, is nearly as rewarding while having almost non-existent risk. Even with 100% success rate in your ganks with minimal time waste chances are you still most likely has no exp lead against an opponent who haven't interacted with an enemy champion at all.
@@shacolin6546 Not how it works. Your camps don't disappear by going for kills. The only exception is if you get invaded but even that is preventable and you can make your own invades. You'd rather get 300 g and take your camps later while applying pressure, instead of full clearing and finding nothing to do on the map. Farm means nothing if you're not applying pressure. Besides, anyone can full clear, that's also why it's not a legit strat for climbing. What's legit is being adaptive.
@@whynotbelk If you always assume the best outcome, yes, being aggressive will earn better results. However, that is not a realistic expectation. Power farming, meanwhile, can't go wrong. You'll always be strong by the time you get to mid game. Miss a gank opportunity for a camp and you'll be fine. Skip a camp to make a play and you better make it work because if you don't you'll be behind in xp for the rest of the game. And even still: you get a good early game, you secure sucessful ganks, you have a lead, the game has so much rubberband mechanics one mistake will cancel out the ten good plays you made early on. Sure, you put a challenger Elise in a gold game, she will punish all the mistakes, snowball out of control and 1v9 the game everytime. If you put a gold Elise in a gold game, even if she might be able to secure an early lead 7~8 times out of 10 with multiple successful ganks, all it takes is a mistake or two for said lead to vanish and from then on she gets outscaled. Meanwhile, any halfass Lillia or Nocturne player can get 8+ CS a minute unless they stumble into a smurf or something because gromp won't outplay you. Unlike if you were playing for the early game, if people throw left and right, can't close the game out and it starts dragging on, they get stronger, not weaker. Ever since season 10, this game is all about outscaling. Especially from the jungle. For most of its history not showing up until level 4 was almost exclusive to the likes of Shyvana and Master Yi, now it is relatively common even for the likes of Lee Sin. Can you win with aggression and snowballing? Absolutely, you can. But over a large sample size, that's not what will yield you consistent results.

I think Conqueror fits best with jungle jax. It synergizes very well with your 2 item spike with Triforce and Sunderer. You get a lot of adaptive AD as well which is good. To answer your other question, I think you can climb with Jax. Hes a really good champion.
what do i do on kayn? i need to fight to get orbs for form but if there arent any good gank opportunities then i keep farming, but then i get form quite late. also how do i know when to wait to try to countergank versus just farming. what if i wait to counter gank and the jungler just doesnt show up? that seems like a waste of time. I am just a low elo noob jungler so any tips would help thanks.

good guide, reminded me to punish enemy jg more, ended up 50 cs more than udyr just for punishing him for showing on the map and using that to get free gank kills :)
This is not entirely true. A lot of low elo players knows way more nowadays than before. Also there are these smurfs that does this on their level. I know all this. It is more of an execution than knowledge. If you aren't skilled enough or doesn't have fast enough of a reaction it is a difficult game. Also you need to make your decision. Thanks to my friend of pointing it out many times I climbed from bronze IV to silver IV in a day just doing what I think is good to do and fast decision making. Go in for a gank or farm. Go for objective or give it because it is too much of a risk to fight it. If people flame you it is because they don't have the mental to give up one dragon. Even though they are the reason you are behind. They are going let's say 0/5/0 in bot lane. Enemy bot is now 10/1/0 and have way more gold than you and is way more reactive and responsive than your laner. DO NOT ENGAGE IN THAT LANE. Go to top or mid. Maybe you have better luck there after farming. One important thing is adabpatability. If they invade your blue all the time. Go to their blue. All low elo knows all this. its easy. but execution is not. So if you are bronze or silver like myself. I reccomend going through your past games. See what common faults you have. Try to fix it and you will climb. This video was not at all helpful. Just saying that one kill is not enough for low elo players to get ahead. So not true ANYMORE.

Tbh I cant seem to win in low elo (Diamond and below) with anything but nidalee, lee or skarner

Is low Elo really that hard, I placed iron and hit silver in like 90 games, new asf so I’m stuck silver 2/1 but still climbing
