Pamela Courson tribute

- Pamela Susan Courson was the long-term companion of Jim Morrison. She was very important in his life. She was very sweet and had an angel face and an innocence that he loved in her. She broke every limit for Jim and would often surprise even him who knew her best. She had also been the inspiration of many of his poems and songs. Pam was the only one who had been close to Jim as no one else. Whatever I say is little to describe it.
Jim Morrison died in 1971 at the age of 27. Pamela Courson joined him 3 years later at the age of 27 also. They both had a tragic end.
Quotes about Pamela Courson:
"Pam had a fairy -tale quality, she had that persona. I think that's what Jim liked about her. She was like one of those people who's so blessed to beggin with, whether it's beauty or whatever inside her, I think they're impervious and nothing really hurts them. They kind of walk around with a glowing shield. Pam was one of those."
Paul Ferrara-photographer of The Doors and one of Jim Morrison's best friend.
"If it were possible for Jim to have a mate for life, we all felt that Pamela was that person."
Robby Grieger-guitarist of The Doors-
"It was only Pam who had the fire to be Jim's match"
John Densmore-drummer of The Doors-
Song: Raverie by Debussy
Never in my life have I ever seen an angel so beautiful, so perfect, so vulnerable and so lonely. Her eyes are breathtaking yet they are so sad and heartbreaking. No wonder Jim loved her. She was his wife, his angel, his sunshine and his world. Rest in peace beautiful
The power of extreme beauty is palpable, with these two...they both cheated on each other, had their spats, etc. But that special, "fatal attraction" was there!...Two people caught up in a world of dangerous pleasure...It is amazing that Pam last three years after Jim died. She must have felt an extreme emptiness, that drugs and other men/women could not fill.
She was a drug addict.
What a love story for the ages
Tragic that these two people died so very young.
Feel sorry for the parents.
Rest in Paradise, James and Pamela 🕊
Pure Innocence in disguise...I can see
now why Jim wanted to throw his
arms around her.
Jim was in love with her she had his heart she was so beautiful
But they cheated on his others constantly...toxicity.
@@lindseycarribean5113agreed. People romanticise this way too much.
Looking at her, especially her face, those deep and empty lost eyes . . . feels to me like looking into the recreation of a forensic artist's interpretation of how this Jane Doe may have appeared to people who knew her, in the hope that someone who recognizes her will come forward with her true identity and she can have her name back. Very sad to recognize how empty and unloved this girl was.
Why people wrote something like this? She had friens and family, they love her. It was her own decision to choose this option. Everyone has a choice of which path to go...and the path go on.
The original Cinnamon Girl..... What a beautiful woman.
Me lo hai portato via troppo presto il mio jim..rip in peace pam...
Era hermosa
Eternal Father I offer you the most precious blood of Jesus with all the masses being said this day all over the world for the souls in purgatory, Amen. (Traditional prayer, for Pam and Jim, in case they are not already in Heaven, may God bless these two wonderful and gifted souls who left such an incredible legacy.
En memoria de Pamela Courson.
Women then had quite a different presence..it's a shame this angelic natural look would only be considered "pretty" now.
Waiting for someone to echo my exact thoughts. She exemplifies the natural beauty of that era that I so long for now when women are plastic looking thinking they need to alter their facial features around including the body. What an upside down trend! If Pam is only pretty then huh? Beauty is something delicate, not 'in your face' look at me cartoon like as these days.
So agree! I hate the beauty standards today… ugh. Imo Pam looks a little like Isla Fisher with a touch of a very young Gwyneth P.
Don't talk ill of the dead-have some Respect and whatever they did-they are with God now. Why do you think Addiction is such a Problem-because people hurt and wanna escape the Pain, loneliness and Ignorance of Society. They are in a much better Place now and before judging People-take a good Look at yourself.
+Dean Brandt Well Said!
Exactly. These people have no idea.
Dean Brandt sorry but they are not in a better place. Don't worry about people taking a look at there lives just look at your life & only your life because its you & only you that will have to explain what you did with it.
It’s not about me...and yes they are in a better place.
When people are sharing comments it is ok to say that both died of drug related deaths and both chose to take drugs, that is not being disrespectful, their lives where what they chose, and it was a real shame dude that they both talented died so young. You don't represent the estates of either Jim Morrison or Pamela Courson so let people say whatever they want.
👌👌👌
How could someone cast Meg Ryan to impersonate her is beyond me...

I don't understand what the tribute is about. She was only Jim's company, but not talent that her own style to live life. RIP🙏🙏

People make tribute videos everyday of just people they knew, why do you need to be famous or talented to be remembered?
She had a herion habit that killed jim
She was so beautiful.

Umm..she didnt ever know what love was
They where ment for each other. They look so perfect together. Bless them. Wish I had known them.💖🙏✌💚
They weren't. They were toxic for each other.
Poet Jim Morrison's Muse and soul mate. Beautiful Pam
She was so sweet and beatiful...
Rest in Peace Little Angel...
Isn't it sad? A beautiful young couple, their life here on earth cut short by addiction.
Gone too soon ...❤ 😱
It is very sad. Look at the pictures, especially of Jim over the years, you can see the booze and the drugs taking its toll. He lost a lot of his boyish good looks and he got a little bloated. I don't say that to be mean I just say that any form of drug addiction or alcoholism sucks. Trust me I know the hard way.

AS I do ALSO I loss lots
of friends over 50years!
I think they probably lived more in their brief time together than most of us do in a lifetime, the flower only smells sweet if you have someone to describe it to 🇮🇪
@@patrick5034 true
2 drug addicts. Simple. Stop romanticizing this. Both died from their CHOICES. Both would have lived had they not chosen heroin.
It's so sad that Pam was as troubled as she was beautiful, so sad indeed:-(
I think she was his only love, and thats why she dies 2 years later. THIS WAS LOVE. She died
all off the pain, they where mean to each other 2 years later she died. Guess what, HEARTBREAKIN:::
Claudication. what u posted is more than likely true, however, she passed 3 years after Jimmy did.
You are not counting sense of guilt... as SHE was the one who introduced to Jim that scumbag french "count" dealer who was also Marianne Faithful's boyfriend and liked to see people get hooked on smack...
@@jackypattersont2158 Yes she died three years afterJim Morrison at age 27.
Jim had another love during high school that was cut out after Pam went after him at the Whisky. Pam was more fashionable, sexually experienced & sadly morphed into a heroin addict. she knew Jim had other women especially other groupies and seem to allow it but had a major confrontation with Patricia Kennealy that is portrayed in the movie. Patricia became pregnant with Jim's child but she decided not to keep it because he would not accept the responsibility. Don't forget this was the late 60s and free love was everywhere!!

Pretty sure Pam was with JIm when he was still a bum, so you know its real.
This video brought a tear to my eye, finding out how pamela courson really died r.i.p pamela.after Jim passed on it seemed like you were left to the wolves, with no one to look after you,or care for you.may you find the happiness you are looking for in heaven😔
They were a beautiful couple. Tragic they died so young. I hope they are together in spirit.
Pair of druggies.
@@paulbrady5772 Jim wasn't a druggie. He was more into drink. Yes, Pamela was a druggie. It doesn't detract from Jim's talent and their love for each other.
Get your facts right Susan.he took heroin. Fact. I never slagged his music off did I.
@@paulbrady5772 I believe he took heroin on the night he died. The heroin was responsible for his death. Marianne Faithfull claims that it was supplied by a French count named Jean Debrette, who later himself died of heroin. Other than that I haven't read that Jim was a heroin user.
Fair enough I take it back. Im actually a doors fan. Thanks for the education.
They were too good for this Earth and
And God decided to bring then home
Or Buddha, maybe.
They were confused, insecure drug addicts!...not too good for this Earth, just too self-destructive.
Cosmic love
I really think this was a beautiful contemporain greek love tragedy. All that Jim loved he manifested in Pamela. They really found each other. And probably will never separate as souls.
this tribute is beatiful :`)
Ridiculous to think she had anything to do with Jim's death as a lot of conspiracy theories suggest. The two were broken people, no question. But you can tell they truly loved each other. And why on earth would she kill the person supporting her lavish lifestyle? Well, lavish by hippy standards at the time.
If it's possible to have a conscious thought in the moment after your passing I'm sure hers was "Finally."
right ! she loved and knew him more than anyone else .
beauty naturelle
I Bless Their Romance... they were both
Displaced Souls and they met in the
VOID
They were probably more friends then anything. You know what it's like...who ends up your friends can be so different, but there's some underlying understanding or connection that makes it work. Other times it's just two people at the same point in time and there's just not any
common beliefs or goals. What makes it work forever is if there is.
Her skin was like a porcelain doll. Jim always went back to his “cosmic mate.”
Tragedy waiting to happen😱
A tribute to the junkie who was responsible for the death of Jim Morrison? Jim was drinking but she gave him heroin that sealed his fate !!!!
The pics of them embracing makes me cry..
Essa era umm demônio na vida de Jim!
So pretty💕
Rest in peace Pamela and Jim Morrison and they was a beautiful couple
A beautiful Irish couple ♡ Love you Jimbo

Courson est Un nom de famille français
I hope she is with Jim.
Hermosa muy angelical Bella pareja por siempre pam y jim
You can see why Jim was taken with her.
Jim really adored her. He was always looking at her. His true love ❤
So, Jim dies sampling drugs that Pam sent him to pick up. Pam, in a panic, has him buried very quickly and quietly but the guilt eats away at her and she blames herself for his death. She seeks comfort in more drugs. Meanwhile, the count, her close friend and dealer, also hightails it back home, also consumed with guilt because he supplied the drugs. He dies from an overdose and Pam continues in a downward spiral until her death. Marianne Faithful is also in the picture somewhere but she's kept silent all these years. She knows the truth of what really happened in Paris in 1971. Perhaps one day, she'll either corroborate or deny this...
They looked so good together
И мало кто знает Но!!! она снялась в единственной роли люовницы Alain Charnier В фильме Французкий связной 1.1971г.Эта была единственная и эпизодическая роль в данном фильме.И почему то нигде в титрах не указана.
How tragic. They threw their lives away. RIP
She get highhh!!!
he never spoke to his family she may have been a druggie but he was an addict as well as a strong enough person to do what he was gonna do greedy family okay is that why his family left his body in paris and only those who were there know what happened when jim was in the tub did he not say no one gets out of here alive??? he was awesome but do not think bad of pam cuz meg ryan played her yikes!!
For the people who blame Pam for things. Do you think Jim was a saint? He did what he wanted. Went where he wanted. You better open your mind and read more about him. She did try to get him cleaned up when he smelled, etc. Lol No way was he going to change some things. So don't blame her because he had a death wish.
Sue K jealousy......she didn't kill him. He was an addict too! Blame the girlfriend
Both bad. Both influenced each other in bad ways, and they paid the price their life their choice no one forced them.

She was Jim Morrison's soul mate. They were meant for each other.

I think she deserves a lot. And also she knew Jim Morrison better than anyone else and had been very important to his life.

Amore e odio ,Pam e Jim come un'antica leggenda greca, lui la amava Alla follia prima di essere ricco, lei lo amava alla follia, dicevano i greci che due persone che si sono amate alla fine formano una sola stella
I have seen 100's of pics of Pamela over the years and 2 this day I have never seen a girl more beautiful than she.
Breathtakingly beautiful. ❤
Meravigliosa poetica musicale, così delicata, che è lodevole per Pamela, e anche per Jim
Heroin…..does it every time. Just a sad ending.
I've heard that when Jim died, Pam kept him in bathtub for the next two days and she was sleeping next to him on the floor... Imagine how she loved him.
Not accurate, according to Danny Sugarman who dated her after Jim's death and wrote the book, No one here gets out alive, she told him how Jim had died that night. Because Pam was a heroin addict & Jim was into booze, it's more likely she talked him into trying heroin and when it made him feel horrible he went in to take a bath and then died while she was sleeping. She called the male friend and a physician who was told he had died of a heart attack. Unfortunately there was no autopsy and she had him buried in a sealed casket. Sugarman said she was extremely guilty over Jim's death and three years later OD'd herself!

Why u all think that she beautiful? Strange type of appearance... and red hair very specific thing.
I think she was a bit odd looking. Her mother was beautiful but her father not so much
Beauty of the "strange" variety is the best, because it is unique to the individual. She was awesomely beautiful, IMO.
Red hair is gorgeous. I think she’d have become more striking had she got older. She was very cute. In a strange way she reminds me of Nancy Spungeon, even though she doesn’t resemble her so much.
Thanku ;)

Raverie by Debussy..it's wonderful
Debussy was a fine composer of romantic tunes...which is interesting, as he was known to enjoy the pleasures of other men's wives!
She's beautiful, she is reunited with Jim now.
That kind of love is worth all the pain that comes with it , you can see feel their intensity Yet in the 60s ,even if you were really in love , having sex with other people was more than common, having fights, and jealousy hatred and in love again was a familiar pattern . It wasn’t easy this is where “There’s nothing free about free love” a well known colloquial expression then . From one who lived it
