As I keep saying to my friends, Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Sevastopol, Crimea and many others were part of my big country in 1978. When this war finishes, they will hopefully be again part of my country. Ukrainian is an eastern slavic language like Russian, unlike Polish (western slavic), Bulgarian (southern slavic) , Romanian (Romance), Hungarian (Ural based) or Tartar (Turkish origens)
Lyptsi is a village in a valley surrounded by heights. Russia should stay on the ridge above it and pound away. The utility of this action in the north is Russia forced the Ukrainians to pull experienced units from places where they were well dug in their holes and got them to come fight here with no advantages.
Use the firepower advantage until they dig in well, then leave a covering force to harass & defend and move elsewhere to repeat the process.

@@crowy2149 Not so weird when allegedly the Russians are including EW in turtle tanks that make drones miss them. We also need to take into account that the Western ukrainians lose a lot of artillery and artillery troops in the process and having good accurate gunners takes time and experience which Russian attrition is supposed to deny.

So their accurate use is heavily dependent on the training / skill of the user.
When you grab someone off the street, give them no training and send them to the front, they are not likely to be very effective.

I've been keeping track of Russian Federation tactics throughout this conflict. I think that more than Ukrainian exhaustion, Russian improvement in strategy and tactics has been the primary factor in Russian Federation Forces recent successes.
I believe the RF has adapted, but I do credit Russian attrition strategies for their success so far, and NATO stupidity, lack of credible leadership and lack of history knowledge for their utter failure.
@@cotizacionesequipo1719 But even during war of attrition, RU launched multiple mass mechanized assaults that suffered huge cassaulties (tactic that did not work the best until turtle tank was created). They finally started sending small infantry detachments to scout the areas, map out enemy position, call in arty and air strikes and move forward. Rinse and repeat.

That's why Russia had losses at the beginning, but then thanks to Wagner and Ukrainian tactics they adapted and now they've grown their army, industrial production, means of detection (drones and satellites), EW devices and anti-air means of dissuasion. It's all downhill for western Ukrainians from now on. They're doomed.

an underwater network of sound devices that track the sound of the naval drones can fix the issue, that you get realtime intel about their location!
If compared to submarines or any other normal vessel these drones don’t make much noise.
@@terrormask2475 a modern submarine is waaay way more silent than these drones. Sound propagates faster and with more force through water. It's true though that sound on the water surface dissapears faster. I don't know what kind of propulsion the boats use, either propeller or jet, but if you manage to record and isolate the sound, basically a "normal, old" equipment can hear such a boat from at least 20km away.
The Russian FPV drone operators' expertise proves conclusively that all that time playing video games in the basement was not wasted. These guys are the equivalent of Olympic athletes.

Yesterday I wrote about the start of the conflict in 2014 and the far-right group named after a sea ( even though they come from West Ukraine) and what they did in Odessa, using the verb for fire followed by 'citizens'. In another post I merely wrote about the rebuilding of Mariupol, mentioning 'Videos from Mariupol' - the outstanding English ones on YT made by a young student there. All were deleted and it took me four versions of the Mariupol one before my comment was allowed, which was very strange as it wasn't really controversial. See if this comment stays up!

By the damage that was no cluster ammunition, but in both cases a direct hit, but both airframes are destroyed in the exact same way, what is extremely unlikely.

@@AlphaBravoCheeseCakenot if you plan correctly. You need jets only to hit fortifications of defending enemy. You do not need them for defending your armies but for attacking enemy fortifications with glide bombs 500-1500kg.
