Zedelgem Leegveldstraat Level Crossing

Wednesday June 26 2024 at 19.04. The 18.58 Brugge to Kortrijk (19.44) train. A two-fifths barrier crossing with a big gap in the middle. A very loud alarm too. Why I wonder. In the UK the railway says the audible alarm is only for pedestrians. Not car drivers. Any pedestrians in Belgium could hear this alarm half a mile away. Nice looking train with much of its gear on its roof and some empty space underneath which doesn't quite make sense.
