Have them for over a year and they've been great. Very good build quality. They fit perfectly. Everything feels so stiff thanks to little details like the piece of plastic attached to the front of the liner etc. As an ex hockey player I really wanted my rollerblades to be as responsive as possible and they just do the job. They seem heavy but when you put them on your feet it just feels like they have been there forever.
Brother, I genuinely enjoyed your video. I had been looking for an unboxing video for these and you nailed it. You also looked like you were having a blast skating them. Thanks a million! I can't wait to get these. Also, what camera and selfie stick do you use while skating? It took me seeing a shadow to realize you were recording yourself, and didn't have a drone or something lol.
🙏🏻 Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m still skating and enjoying them but added some Endless 90 es frames! For the camera I’m using an insta360 one x
I'm a 27.5cm foot. According to the rollerblades sizing guide, 27.5cm is the max limit of a 9/9.5 XT skate. I'm normally always a size 10 in all other skates. Do you think I should go with the 10 and just use the extra insole?
I am a 28.5 foot and use the 10/10.5 shell without the footbed liner making it a 10.5. Using the footbed sizer on the 10/10.5 shell makes it a 10. If you usually wear a 10 in other skates it might fit, but if not you could add an extra insole. Are both your feet the same length? If one is a bit bigger then 27.5 I would def size up.
@@JanWelch Thanks! How big of a problem is getting water in the bottom ventilation? Seems like I encounter enough sprinkler runoff or small amounts of water that the bottom ventilation is not ideal.
Go with 9/9,5 US. My bigger foot is 27,3cm and theres planty of space in shell. Its roomy in the front. I even consider downsizing in this skates. When i take out the liner and insert foot to empty shell, there is ca 1-2 cm space behind heel when my foot is pressing against front. So do not size up. You ll end up with way to big skate.
@@ukaszsoczowka3961 Thanks! I actually remeasured my foot and I'm at 27,3cm too. I tried the Twisters in size 10. It was too long in the toe box, like you said. I tried the 9 with the foot sizer and it is close to perfect. Like you said, an 8/8.5 even work, but I don't want to risk it and have to send another pair of skates back. Did you have any trouble getting the cuff tight? I feel like I have to use all of my strength to get the strap most of the way into the buckle.

Hi Josh! I just turned 47 years old in December. Still skating as much as I can living in rural Vermont and love every chance I get. You should definitely get back into it! Skating is so much fun and makes you feel young. I have some reviews and guides on different skates available on my website bigwheelblading.com if you want to see what’s out there. And of. Purse these Twister XT skates are an excellent choice!
@@JanWelch been researching the Twister XT's, seen a lot good reviews on them. Worried about what size to get though. I wear a 12/12.5 depending on the shoe so I'm thinking that should be the size the i go with vs ;the 13/13.5
Well. It all depends on what kind of skating you want to do. I find the Rollerblade Twister to be near the top of the list for Urban Skates. But some other models right alongside it would be the Powerslide Next and FR1. Of those the Twister is the skates, I keep in my trunk at all times. There are some much more expensive skates out there that are also cool like the HC Evo or Kaze from Powerslide, but it really depends on what kind of skating you will be doing to justify the extra cost.
Thank you. I am Brazilian and i will have the opportunity to buy one of those in my trip to US 😌 So that was a great encouraging! I have 27cm feet and I am getting a 10/10.5 because my feet are wide 😅. 11cm wide hahaha.
@@JanWelch Thank you! Do you thik I would be ok with a 10/10.5? I sent my feet measurement to the RB support and they suggested me to consider buying another type of Skate :( They said those Twister XT are really narrow at the front. Hi from Poland. hey. I have slim feet, the left size is +- 270 mm and the right size is 265/6 mm, the instep is normal. I bought roller skates in size 9/9.5 and my left foot fills the entire shoe without the insole, and my right foot has minimal space, so if I use the insoles, it will be even more full. I'm wondering whether to stay with what I have or go for a smaller size or a completely different model of roller skates. When I drove around the house, they drive themselves, they are light and agile. I don't know if the smaller ones will be too small. In the ones I have, when I bend my knees slightly and the leg moves back, there is plenty of room in the hard shoe. When I drove around the house, they drove by themselves, fast, light, agile.
