I am a pianist and love Villa- Lobos as a composer . I must confess I like his guitar work more than his pianosolo works. He was a guitarist and to me he put his soul in these works. His piano pieces are more aimed at effect. But thats my opinion. You play with a lot of soul. Really beautiful. And yes: I totally understand the "pfff" at the end, haha! Greetings from the Netherlands, Peter.

@@martenfalk9680 I'm a trained classical guitarist from back in the days when Bream and Williams were the predominant classical guitarists in the world. You're playing style and technique is at the same level as previous masters.. So again, Thank you for sharing your talent playing top classical guitar for the world to listen..👏

@@jespersgard3487 Wow, now you really make me happy. Bream has been my God since I was in my teens. I kind of met him once when I was 19 but I was so in awe that I could not move and even less manage to say a word...

@@martenfalk9680 Julian Bream is my hero too.. I've never heard any guitarist able to express what was on his mind musically through his instrument like him.. I met him once in 1986 at the Sorø Academy in Denmark where he held a masterclass.. a great experience to witness his deep knowledge of the music he played.. John Williams is technically perfect but Bream played with his heart and laboured his way through the pieces with extreme concentration.. the greatest of all time in my opinion.. but again.. I take my hat off to your playing and technique..

once in a while someone comes up capturing the musicianship of these composition, and not playing as if one was trying to catch a train with them.

Bravo! I really enjoyed your performance, you made them sound like musical pieces rather than exercises. Compared to your Tarrega video, in this one your guitar really made an impression on me. Amused by your "phew" at the end!

Thank you, that makes me very happy! Yes, I suppose the "phew" describes how it is to play them all in front of a microphone, there is a lot of concentration required...

    Hi Mårten!
    Brillantly performed! Love it!
