    I love you Bro! I have a 2001 LeSabre Custom with 20" rims, before I used the metal screw spacers you showed, the car road fine, but now after installing them, I have the same problem, the shake is real! This is my first time hearing of binding joints

    I'm so glad I saw this video. I was just looking on universal car lifts for a lift kits for my 2000 monte carlo. But I was also thinking about bending the struts as well. Now I know just bend the strut and save the money and headache. Thanks man.

      Did your struts last I had to buy some new ones after riding on my 24s after 2 years I don't think my stock struts could handle the weight of the 24s

      @@boxchevycaprice90 naw bending that strut ain't good. It puts too much tension on the strut. The best thing to do is cut that strut plate off and reweld it. I bout a harbor freight welder and did mine myself

    When you lift with those struts the higher up the strut goes the higher up the car goes so the extension is pushing the body up higher so you use limit straps to hold it down

    i see where u went wrong with the front struts, you're not suppose to lift it from the bottom unless u drop the sub-frame. i see where they extended the lower strut mount and i had that problem too, it wears out your axles, thats why your steering wheel was shaking. to do it right, u have to cut the weld off of the spring plate, slide the plate UP no more than 2 inches and weld it back to the strut. THEN put your coil springs on and mount it back to the car. it rides so smooth on 24s that you can barely tell they are on the car.

    • @AdamDeFresh
      @AdamDeFresh  6 років тому

      Ari Reid That is what happened with this car, the front axles are binding up because they are pinched on too much of an angle, that’s why I ripped it all out and did it the way I did.

      True .... Bacc in the day I had a 1990 CADI and did all this b4 and will never do it again and Im glad I saw this vid cuz I was think'n bout buy'n a lesabre right now, not anymore cuz the air shocks in the bacc and spacers in the struts up front is some bull shyt fr. The spacers and everything else you got jammed in the struts fall out when you drive over speed bumps, train traccs etc... and the front end squats and starts shredding the tires and getting everything to sit even is a real bytch fr. Also the front end lift and bend will cause both sides right above those struts on top the fenders to crack straight across where that strut mounts. Not worth it fr.

      Don't listen to these dudes...if you drive the speed limit its fine...doing burn outs and racing people all damn day yes it would...I have 24s on a 13 impala and I drive the highway to work every day...30 minute trips there and back...been doing that for 4 years and I'm fine

      @@younglords7131 if you look at the base of the headrest where the seat connects there is a tiny little hole, I used a very small Allen key when you push it inside that hole it releases the headrest🤘🏼
