Whatever you have written about CBI is not 100% correct. Because in CBI you may have to work late, there is no fixed working hours but it is not necessary you will be called at 2:00 or 3:00am night... It can happen once in 6 months or 12 months if you are in the Special Crime branch and the HC or SC court tells CBI to investigate...Then you may be called at night... Otherwise working hours are long but in CBI you need not be required to work at night. Because this is not a State Police job, in CBI you need to only investigate the cases.. In police there are night shifts and they can be called at any time whether it's night or Holiday.

If every soldier think about his family then who will protect the country. May be it is your personal choice to leave cbi but don't give excuses of family life openly say that you are not capable to do that.
