STAR WARS DeTours should make its way to Disney+ and I wanna see some more stuff added in to make the new cartoon more memorable when it was announced and we need the series to happen!

It was basically family friendly robot chicken. They literally had Seth MacFarlane as the emperor. I don't even care about the animation style, I would've loved to just get a George Lucas-commissioned Palpatine played by Seth. He's so good at it

Yeah. Most other shows would be okay with having them fall offscreen, but the painted floor was the icing on the cake.
Watched the episode you linked. It does look a lot better then it does in isolation. It looks like something that will NOT drive the parents insane if put on the TV, which is the best and only thing I can truly demand from this kind of kids show.

It’s kinda funny to think that George Lucas, an accomplished director, writer, and producer, had his last Star Wars project be Star Wars Detour. Went out with a fart, but it was a good fart and at least a lot of people laughed

I think detours would've been a cool little show, not 6 seasons but, 1 or 2 you know, i wouldve actually enjoyed it, except leia and boba there...
tbh 3 seasons would be nice. 1st season to establish the world, 2nd to go crazy and have fun; while the 3rd could end the series on a good note.

I like how the Vinesauce video shows up in the "look at how many views Detours gets!" section, when that entire video is just Vinny shitting on it, and being overjoyed that it never came out.
I'm just curious, have you watched the Phineas and Ferb Star Wars Special? I think it's easily one of the strongest things Disney has done with the series, and I think you'd like it given what you said about Star Wars parodies.

I remember when I saw the trailer, I was at first disliking it... Then after the first few gags, It actually got a few laught from me. The mat-painting one was genius. Grendo getting humiliated by the Door Droid was just... Yeah, they had me on this one.
I was a fan before it was cool and I like that it's popular now
It's really dumb that they haven't released this. I get not being interested in making more, but they are sitting on a ton of completed content when they have a streaming service that is desperate for content. The only legitimate reason I can think of for them to not release it is that there's some contract somewhere that says Cartoon Network/WB gets to air it first or something.

I don't know if they'd ever release new episodes of this, but I get the feeling this will be available on Disney plus, you know just the past episodes that is. I honestly did not know that the show existed until really just now. I was recommend a funny clip from the show and then I saw your video up here in the recommended under that video.
I'm also really happy to find out that the 2D animated clone Wars is available as I've watched the 3D animated the clone Wars back when it was on Netflix. It'll be cool to see the 2D animated one that came out before it.

The strangest thing is that Disney is completely ok with these new Lego Star Wars specials on Disney Plus, which are also a deconstructed comedic take on the franchise, and yet continue to keep Detours locked away. Disney Plus needs as much content as it possibly can, and Detours would be a great way of helping them do so.
