I can never find glitch videos (and any other videos in fact) that have a lot of effort put into them. I can't believe I haven't found you sooner! ( I started watching you like 3 weeks ago) And I just got my MKWii back from the dead (it was scratched) and now I can try all these glitches. I got CTGP-R yesterday and it's awesome. Man...Mario Kart Wii was such a fun and great game. I miss playing it with friends and family, the online multiplayer was also great, used to spend hours playing it.

A few things: You can do the 1st Grumble Volcano glitch using a kart. It's just really difficult to find the placement for it. For Wario's Gold Mine, you don't have to drive into the wall. Everyone does it b/c it's faster to do so. Also, I am surprised you didn't cover the Battle Glitch. If you enter a Battle, then exit it, you will be able to see names of racers from anywhere on the track (even through walls). This is most useful online to properly and quickly identify racers that are near you. You can only have, at most, 3 names on your screen at once. So if you're behind 4 people, only the 3 closest ones will have their names displayed for you. But it displays them immediately without delay (usually), and the fact you can see the locations of racers through walls is more beneficial than one would think. Nice video!
MikeyTaylorGaming You're welcome :) Yea, the battle name one isn't one really put on youtube much, but known within the competitive community. As is the Super Throw/Low Throw. If you hop and throw an item (Banana, Fake Item Box, Bomb) at the maximum height of your hop, your item will be thrown further. Alternatively, if you throw it just before you hit the ground after hopping, it will go less of a distance. Useful stuff for the competitive player, not so much for people who play to play :P
inviso87 Man, competitive play is a whole other world compared to casual, I know that for sure. I used to be highly ranked on MKDS actually, PRBs are something that most people didn't know or understand, but snaking was a sinch! I didn't class snaking as a glitch though in honesty, more of an exploit :)

I think for this game in done, I know I missed a couple glitches like the Yoshi Falls glitch, the ones I couldn't do and some small character glitches, but I think half an hour is enough coverage for the game! Sorry XD I'm glad you enjoyed though! :)

Karson Kenville The timestamp you gave is Mushroom Gorge :P Many people have said you go in the cave but I did try that so many times when recording this video and it never seemed to work :(
Grumble Volcano also has a lava respawn glitch which can be done on smy of the laps. It's easier to do on lap 3, basicly you have to launch yourself off the track where the rock was and hit the wall on the other side. If your going to attempt this on laps 1 or 2, you have to launch off the track just to the right of the rock and hit the wall on the other side. You will know if you pulled it off because Lakitu will drop you on the other side of the track
Hey, so I have a question. When talking about how to perform these glitches, it seems you're using the Wiimote + Nunchuck. Do you know how or if these glitches will work with just a Wiimote? I've almost always used just a regular Wiimote when playing.
GlitterC0in Yep they'll work! I have a 3Star rating just using the Wiimote, but for the purpose of this video I found it much easier to use a Wiimote + Nunchuck to get the glitches workin, since going directly forward is easy :) Ethan Mergner thanks for answering it already man :)
Ah Warios Gold Mine. I remember when I was young there was this HUGE lore going with everybody in my community that if you landed in one of the pipes, you would warp to the end of the lap. :P

These are all possible with bikes (aside from the wallclips), but they are A LOT harder. Also, DK's Jungle Parkway has a shortcut just like Mario Circuit and Peach Beach, but it is so hard, that nobody has done it legitimately
***** It appears that bikes are more capable of getting into tighter spaces and fly longer distances, so it allows for more to be done with them! :) didn't know about that one either, but that's cool! TAS only then I guess?
Yeah if u check out TWD98's channel it shows 3 glitches one on parkway one on sherbet land and finally one on waluigi stadium and only the sherbet land one has been done without that dolphin The persons name who found these is called Malleosquirrelx

There are actually around 13 ways to get the coconut mall glitch, but I enjoyed this video. Also look up something called wiimmfi its something you can use to still play online on your wii with a bunch of wii games :)

When I first got my MKWii, my Dad said use Automatic; it's easier. I trusted him. 3 years later: Someone asks me why I haven't been getting the cups (because I played Grand Prix a LOT!) I said I didn't know. Then the next race he saw me use Automatic, and said to not use automatic, and I asked why. He said because you won't unlock cups on automatic, only characters. I trusted him. He also said to use bikes. The next week I unlocked a character. The next year, nothing. Apparently, you had to be Manual all the time to unlock cups, which is when I resorted to cheating to get them. My friend had left about 3 months before, and I had nothing stopping me. Except my dad. He told me that cheating was bad. I didn't listen (REBEL4LIFE). I still cheat, but not on WiiMFi because apparently he thinks that THAT'S cheating. After a while, he made up another lie to get me to stop using bikes and manual. He said "The person that lifts the people back up might take a day off when you use your bike and manual, and they will die! SO (he said that with emphasis) don't use bikes or manual!" I still didn't listen, and then next time, he gave in. WOO!
Then what was the point of Nintendo putting in bikes? Bikes were OP in MKWii, so I just accept what each Mario Kart offers and just take it for granted.
Evil Gameboy Because Bikes are way better with Wheelies and Funky Kong because he has the best hidden character stats. Same goes for Daisy and I think Toadette is best with light.
Dang, I used to enjoy this game alot! I also used the GCN controller because it was more comfortable than the Wiimote. I also had all the characters, and vehicles, but my friend did that, because back then, I sucked. Sadly, my disk got scratched, and now there is no way for me to play it.

I did the musroom Gorge ultra shortcut with 3 laps with 7 hours of practice and I Think I know exactly where every single spot you need to hit is 1 behind the finish line and one right obove the end of the gap
+Slime Gaming one another UA-camr's video for the mushroom gorge ultra shortcut all they did was go inside the cave hit the wall and that seemed to work for the checkpoint
Mikey you should totally do Crash Team Racing. It's for the PlayStation and I still play it to this day (probably because it's the one game I'm actually good at). It has its fair share of glitches and shortcuts. Most of them are pretty easy to do if you have an item, but they can also be done without. Just be warned - CTR plays very differently from Mario Kart.

I have a glitch in wich you have to play with the nunchuck anf it works with cars and bikes so its really normal and its not a out of bounds no its just a visual bug glitch thing okay so you need to press c at any moment during a race and if you have a character with eyes that turn when looking at something for instanse mario then you will notice his eyes turn to the right left from you position

Hey, in Mushroom Gorge the checkpoint is very similar to Wario's Gold Mine; it is under the cliff on the left wall (right wall if your doing the lap properly). Hope this helps :)

johnny elkins Since the games are made in in two completely different ways for two completely differenct consoles it's very unlikely that glitches would be carried over to the new game, even if they were never discovered by Nintendo! BUT, Mario Kart 7 is home to a couple of it's own glitches, but I can't cover them since I don't have a 3DS Capture Card! :(
johnny elkins Ahhh I see your confusion here! ocarina of time was essentially just a straight port of the game from N64 to 3DS, the only thing that was really changed was the Graphics. There were SOME slight differences in programming with the game which lead to some glitches not working and new glitches being discovered, but overall the game is essentially the same :) With Mario Kart 7, it's a whole new game completely, with each course being re-made from scratch in able to work on the less powerful handheld, so in the re-making of the console it's not likely they'll have added the same glitch, it could have been a simple oversight of the person that created that section of course or something :)
most glitches in this video can be done with karts, alot are prety diffucult though and on maple treeway your holding down to much! (also i managed to do all glitches 3 times in a row :P)

GlitterC0in Yep they'll work! I have a 3Star rating just using the Wiimote, but for the purpose of this video I found it much easier to use a Wiimote + Nunchuck to get the glitches workin, since going directly forward is easy :)

These are all possible with bikes (aside from the wallclips), but they are A LOT harder. Also, DK's Jungle Parkway has a shortcut just like Mario Circuit and Peach Beach, but it is so hard, that nobody has done it legitimately
***** It appears that bikes are more capable of getting into tighter spaces and fly longer distances, so it allows for more to be done with them! :)

There are actually around 13 ways to get the coconut mall glitch, but I enjoyed this video.
Also look up something called wiimmfi its something you can use to still play online on your wii with a bunch of wii games :)

When I first got my MKWii, my Dad said use Automatic; it's easier. I trusted him. 3 years later: Someone asks me why I haven't been getting the cups (because I played Grand Prix a LOT!) I said I didn't know. Then the next race he saw me use Automatic, and said to not use automatic, and I asked why. He said because you won't unlock cups on automatic, only characters. I trusted him. He also said to use bikes. The next week I unlocked a character. The next year, nothing. Apparently, you had to be Manual all the time to unlock cups, which is when I resorted to cheating to get them. My friend had left about 3 months before, and I had nothing stopping me. Except my dad. He told me that cheating was bad. I didn't listen (REBEL4LIFE). I still cheat, but not on WiiMFi because apparently he thinks that THAT'S cheating. After a while, he made up another lie to get me to stop using bikes and manual. He said "The person that lifts the people back up might take a day off when you use your bike and manual, and they will die! SO (he said that with emphasis) don't use bikes or manual!" I still didn't listen, and then next time, he gave in. WOO!

Why do people use bikes? its Mario KART, not Mario BIKE.
Then what was the point of Nintendo putting in bikes? Bikes were OP in MKWii, so I just accept what each Mario Kart offers and just take it for granted.

Dang, I used to enjoy this game alot! I also used the GCN controller because it was more comfortable than the Wiimote. I also had all the characters, and vehicles, but my friend did that, because back then, I sucked.
Sadly, my disk got scratched, and now there is no way for me to play it.
Also, I've seen some of these glitches in A+Start's video.
Also, I'm a Light-weight type of racer.

I did the musroom Gorge ultra shortcut with 3 laps with 7 hours of practice and I Think I know exactly where every single spot you need to hit is 1 behind the finish line and one right obove the end of the gap
+Slime Gaming one another UA-camr's video for the mushroom gorge ultra shortcut all they did was go inside the cave hit the wall and that seemed to work for the checkpoint

Mikey you should totally do Crash Team Racing. It's for the PlayStation and I still play it to this day (probably because it's the one game I'm actually good at). It has its fair share of glitches and shortcuts. Most of them are pretty easy to do if you have an item, but they can also be done without. Just be warned - CTR plays very differently from Mario Kart.

I have a glitch in wich you have to play with the nunchuck anf it works with cars and bikes so its really normal and its not a out of bounds no its just a visual bug glitch thing okay so you need to press c at any moment during a race and if you have a character with eyes that turn when looking at something for instanse mario then you will notice his eyes turn to the right left from you position

Channel deleted by ytb in 2013 when restrictions on musics have appeared. Many people can confirm that is AdivoxAir who discovered this glitch, like twd or old mkw youtubers

Hey, in Mushroom Gorge the checkpoint is very similar to Wario's Gold Mine; it is under the cliff on the left wall (right wall if your doing the lap properly). Hope this helps :)

johnny elkins Since the games are made in in two completely different ways for two completely differenct consoles it's very unlikely that glitches would be carried over to the new game, even if they were never discovered by Nintendo!
BUT, Mario Kart 7 is home to a couple of it's own glitches, but I can't cover them since I don't have a 3DS Capture Card! :(

ocarina of time was essentially just a straight port of the game from N64 to 3DS, the only thing that was really changed was the Graphics.
There were SOME slight differences in programming with the game which lead to some glitches not working and new glitches being discovered, but overall the game is essentially the same :)
With Mario Kart 7, it's a whole new game completely, with each course being re-made from scratch in able to work on the less powerful handheld, so in the re-making of the console it's not likely they'll have added the same glitch, it could have been a simple oversight of the person that created that section of course or something :)
