the fact that they released a 37 min long video instead of short bursts of promotional content ( shorter videos mean more repeats hence more view counts) means they don't care about the views but just wanted to do justice to the beautiful art and music that they wanted to portray.
seventeen is really beyond idols and are such sincere musicians and creator of arts. what a beautiful gift to carats before their enlistment ... getting to hear 37 mins of their soothing voices whenever we miss them 😢
Aaah, don't talk about enlistment😭😭😭 BTS won't even be back before Seventeen starts leaving😭😭😭

reality to much bitter, but dream u make it beauty. but pretty sure hard to believe that is fake. its make u more hard that why to run run run from reality, and its dangerouse for u slowly for sure. we have to make it stop.
So Wonwoo became a "Nightmare" cause he had to break/wake everyone up from their "happy dreams" which was Jeonghan feeding off of just to bring back A to "life" while destroying the real & dream world. Wow, this was such an interesting story 👏🏽

@@Hellokitty_391 Jeonghan believed that dreams were a way to relive happy memories. So he thought he could preserve A by staying in the dream world. But in truth, he himself couldn't remember A anymore. Convincing people to stay in the dream world was to help him prevent the real world from moving on. It also gave him the opportunity to collect and dig though their memories, so that perhaps he could finally recall A's name and face, giving him his own happy memory to live in.
Wonwoo was simply a dream visitor, who could cross through both the real and dream worlds and enjoyed by observation. When Wonwoo realized that Jeonghan was trying to disrupt this balance, he chose to shatter the "happy" dreams so that people could return to the real world. He becomes remembered as a vague nightmare by society. He also does this to Jeonghan, him of the pain of being stuck in the past, and allowing him to come back into reality.

you can't make things go back to the way they were. You can't take out pepper you've already stirred into soup and the same goes for lemonade you've spilled on the carpet.”

When listening to this audiobook, I understood that JxW's album is more than just a collection of songs; it's a beautiful form of artistic storytelling.
after listening to the whole thing, i would say that i felt what "the man, jeonghan" was feeling. at some point in our lives, we tried so hard to stay in the dreamland to find some thing/s that we could not have in the real world. despite being aware that it won't bring back what we lost, we still somehow hope that we would find it again. and sadly, during the process of wanting to find it again, we lose more things unknowingly until we are left empty and void.
to everyone who are living in the past chasing after an "A" who is covered in sheets, may we find our own "the man, wonwoo" who would push us to uncover our As to help us get our time ticking and help us move forward further than 8:47am. or maybe, may we find the strength to become our own "the man, wonwoo" and save ourselves from being in this cycle of pain and loneliness.
happiness may not be guaranteed but the future has so much in store for us. who knows what it has for you, right? tight hugs for all.

Wow... in my 8 years of stanning Jeonghan, I just realized that he is a great storyteller.
His tones and the way he put emotions in his voice is so good.
His first part broke my heart. I can feel how lonely he was. All he wanted is A to come back to his life 😭

원래 디스맨은 원우였는데 정한이가 꿈의 세계를 만들면서 이름도 뺏어버리고 (여기서 아름다운 디스맨은 정한인 듯? ) 사람들을 다 행복만 있는 잠들게 해버렷어 -> 계속 자는건 죽음과 다를것이 없음.
원우는 아끼던 도시가 다 잠에 들면서 활기차던 도시가 회색빛이 됨 자신의 낙이던 꿈속 산책을 해도 모두 무미건조한 행복한 꿈의 반복
더 이상 방관 할 수 없으니 사람들을 깨우고 다님 (정한이 만든 꿈에 세계에서 원우가 깨우면 슬픔을 느낄 수가 있게 됨 이건 정한이가 원한 세계가 아닌데!!!!!)

Jeonghan made dreamland to find A (who was already gone in the real world) and to be with him again. Wonwoo became a nightmare to bring everyone back to reality. At the last part, he tried to find Jeonghan to wake him and to make him accept the fact that “No matter how hard you try, you can’t make things go back to the way they were” -a line from the story.
I rewatched the mv and it’s even better now that I get it.😭😭💕
Wonwoo's intonation is really good, maybe because he likes reading and does it often

long story short
wonwoo a lucid dreamer, goes to peoples dream, the city wanted to find him but they can’t remember his face at all. jeonghan woke up and wanted to had breakfast wth A but A is missing so He find A everywhere. jeonghan wanted to bring ‘A’ back but he can’t because you just can’t change everything in the past. ‘A’ disappeared, wonu chased jh to help him get over his past because it is all for nothing. wonu made him fall asleep, jeonghan woke up and wonwoo wonders agin. the plot wanted to remind us that no matter how happy to live inside our dream we need to face the reality and we cannot just change the things that was already written in the past.
after reading this (by transcript) the mv just made more sense like how they tap someones forehead, how someone turned into sands, that mysterious figure standing under the white cloths, the whispers, the soup!?, the album title, why people chose to sleep, how they smiled after the whispers, and wonwoo and jeonghans role throughout the mv (how jh woke up) “but why should people look for happiness only when they’re dreaming. “

Wonwoo's voice is very cold (in a good way) and very smooth but damn i could listen to jeonghan's voice everyday. There's something about his voice that's so calming and soothing at the same time. They delivered the story so well omg the plot is crazyyyyy i want it in a mini film aaaaaa it's tok good not to.

Knowing the full story makes the MV even more worth watching so that you can catch the moments narrated in the audiobook. Like the chase scene. Wonwoo catching up with Jeonghan and A. You can feel the tension even more in the MV in all of the scenes.
Their voice, the background music, the storyline, everthing about this is so PERFECT

They are such profound lines, that leave an indelible mark on our minds and hold so much power and truth.
Jeonghan has always been a wonderful narrator. His voice is so comforting, I could listen to him all day, my whole life. Wonwoo's voice was impactful and urgent, and it was amazing listening to him.
The fact that we got an almost forty minutes audio of story instead of short videos for promoting says a lot about how the art was the most important aspect here. The storytelling is top notch. The storyline itself is intriguing and alluring. The way they are invested and dedicated shows how the craft itself is important rather than popularity. The love for the creation really shows. I absolutely love it so much.
The acting was top notch as well as the singing. The narration was cherry on top. Manifesting for this to turn into a movie or drama with Jeonghan and Wonwoo as the actors. They have immense potential and incredible talent. They have proven themselves. It's high time someone casts them. Jeonghan especially showed a plethora of emotions throughout the whole thing. The falling to the knees scene left an everlasting impact on me. This is extraordinarily beautiful. Masterpiece!

I can't express how grateful I feel for being able to experience their art, to live in the same time as seventeen. This is truly a masterpiece, their concept, music, performance. It feels out of this world.
The storyline is really cool, plus Jeonghan and Wonwoo's voices are really great, so it feels like a lullaby. But the second clip is really scary 😭👏
Besides Jeonghan and Wonwoo's beautiful voices and acting, let's appreciate CHO YEEUN for writing this beautiful story.
This was the most calming audiobook I listened to. Their voices complemented each other so well that it provided warmth overall to the story❤

This is the most unique way of an album.And the story is well thought of by them and they even went to the extent of having a novel author help them. Our wonwoo and jonghan really exceeded carats expectations ❤ a story thats very unique but very relatable to this generation
