The fix for a valgus metatarsal is not finding some way to push the rogue bone back, but you gotta cutty cutty saw blade the edge off, then chacha slide the toe laterally, then PEG IT WITH A SCREW. It feels like that scene from jail break where they cut the guys pinky toe off.
@@connyc23 Recovery was about 12 weeks. The first month was really tough. I don't have bunion pain anymore but now sometimes my big toe hurts because of the surgery. Not sure if it was worth it. It's personal preference though

Now my way was garenteed to be the less recovery time method and it took me 6. Freaking. Months to where I could ACTUALLY lift some weight. It took 3 months before I could walk assisted with a boot and crutches. All the while I was forced to be basically bed ridden and lost my job at the time (shitty retail) and was depressed as shit. It was nice right after my surgery tho since cyberpunk2077 just came out and I was "high" off of strong ass pain killers so it was a trip LOL
One thing I can't feed my brain is, the human body rejects any outsider object like screws or anything that isn't part of the body which means it'll get infected in no time so the question is do you remove the screw after the bone gets back together?

During the surgery you can either get general anesthesia or, more commonly, local, so you shouldn't feel any pain. But trust me, any surgery involving bones has a VERY painful post-op; once it's healed the initial pain should be gone tho, that's the goal of the procedure @@spartan7119
