if anybody knows of any existing recording (of any quality) of this song WITHOUT that Chris Bailey guy in it, I would seriously appreciate you posting it or passing on the source. It is a seriously well written song, but I just can't get over that cheezball chorus vocal; ruins it every time. They must have performed it live at some point without him? Sheesh, I am thinking of trying to just edit out the vocal somehow so I can listen to the rest of the song, but I don't have much in the way of audio skills
I don't think they ever played this song after 2003, or any song from Nocturama for that matter. I think Nick at the time was not terribly proud of that record (though I think it's fantastic) and quickly moved on to the Abattoir Blues style as soon as Blixa left.
Nick cave said he thinks Bailey’s voice is one of the great rock voices. So I will disagree too. lol

Dude, Nick literally wrote the Chorus and performed the studio version of the song with Chris Bailey of The Saints (an old friend of Nick's) in mind. Guess you disagree with Nick's vision for the song.
