- I have been dialing in this pattern for the past 3 seasons. A week or 2 after the spawn, big female walleyes are moving offshore and roaming around to feed in deeper water. This is simply the coolest bite I have found using Live Imaging(Garmin Livescope, Livescope Plus, Mega Live, Active Target).

Garmin only recorded one of the sessions, still trying to figure out why it only records sometimes and not others, and my mic went out for an hour(sorry for the wind, but the footage was too good to not keep!)
The fish don't stand a chance any more.
im gonna have to step up to that "Live" bite sometime. Looks like a good time. Best of luck on your endeavors coming up. If I need an item that you sell, Ill be sure to get it from ya
It’s been the single greatest thing for learning fish behavior. Many time I’ll be on a school of in active fish and you know when it’s time to move on.
@@NetBuddyFishing lots of learnin!
Would you mind going through your settings I cant get that good of a image no matter how hard i try.
Nice video i fish in holland on the same fish only here it is called Zander
Do you fish a Fireball with deadbaid on the walleys?
the firebal is just a 1/4 jig head. I think this would be crazy for Zander, but possible if they suspend like this.
just curious, did you try the perspective mode? maybe would not work as well in that deep of water? You have a nice boat skeeter for sure. Fishing in that wind was impressive, I personally would have my life jacket on....thanks
I don't like using perspective on the trolling motor, and for this bite specifically, forward mode is best as the goal is to keep your jig above them for them to come up and eat.
Is this a pattern that can be repeated throughout the summer as some of these bigger fish stay deeper and are essentially basin fish chasing bigger food?
I think it could be. I have caught fish on jigging raps in mid summer basin fishing, I am hoping to spend some time this year to see. I know the spots I found these I have checked in July, and they were not there anymore, but I am sure if fish are suspended, you can get them to eat.
How lite of a jig are you using to keep that bait in the strike zone so long?
Normally 1/8th or 1/16, but I was getting away with a 1/4 when filming this because the wind. I would drift back away from the fish which helped me "float" it above them, or would open my bail if i needed to let it fall.
The lakes ive been fishing 30ft is shallow how do I jig 30ft down in 120ft of water? Been having to troll snap weights and dipys
I do not think it would be a whole lot different, if they are suspended the same tactic would work.
I fish walleye at 150fow all the time. Use heavier jigs or 3oz bottom bouncers
are you using lvs34?
No, 32 in this video
I very much enjoy your videos. Curious what model locator you use to run your livescope? You have converted me to running the blue color option. I have a 32 but not dialed in well enough to watch a 1/4" jig with 4' plastic in 25fow. Have you tried gulp for suspended walleye? I run a PS31 for salmon and love it!!ua-cam.com/video/v-87RbY-a6A/v-deo.html
