What service were you using previously? Do you see any performance improvements? And have you documented the changes in performance? @webnestify can you share how enhance deals with caching on nginx. And compare to other platforms?
I am also using other solutions. It comes down to use case's. I did not do any performance comparisons, but with each virtualization layer you are loosing small % of raw performance. NGINX have fast-cgi. I already done comparisons at ua-cam.com/video/rG210Way_6w/v-deo.htmlsi=tYRxBkqH1avapdh0
What confuses me, is the pricing per website versus the 5 dollah per month license key, how that actually works? Also why there is no email functionality included? its small chances to get a client to have website if they cant have actual email with their domain name ?
5$ will get you up to 33 websites. That is the minimal cost. Email is included, but you need to delegate a server to it or add an email role to existing server.
Well, Enhance is completely different platform and architecture. Enhance is towards solutions provider and Runcloud is tailored for agencies and webapp owners. Staging and other features are not yet present on Enhance. Will cover that in future episodes.
What about performance wise using OLS between the 2 providers. I host currently 15 websites I own on Runcloud and thinking about using Enhance instead.
Thank you very much for this wonderful tutorial. I have one question though. Enhance recommends installing the application and database role on the same server. Why do you need to install your own database server? How would you handle it if you only host WordPress websites? Are there any performance advantages to having your own database server?
I have 2 questions please, 1- why didn't you restrict the ssh access to your IP for more security? 2- can you clarify the firewall more please .. what is ICMP used for? Thanks so much for your great videos.
Hello. You definatelly can restrict ports to listen to specific IP, but for easy demonstration I did not. ICMP is for server pings and latency checking.
@@webnestifythere is always a possibility of one of the servers going down. If your db goes down or app server goes down. Enhance will still not work right?

Installed Enhance for my agency just last week! Just finished migration with about 200 websites!
Good choice 👍

Can you offer setting up those vps servers at good price so i just have to run the business? thanks
Yes I can. Just contact me through my website.
What was that email service you recommended at the beginning?
Postmark SMTP.
Thank you so much for this series. So for production sites would you recommend Enhance or Runcloud?

@@PhillChurchill hey, did you move to Enhance? I'm hosting 80 websites on DirectAdmin and thinking of moving to Enhance.

It's because of greater availability...
Thank you so much. Enhance recommend to use 1 server for webapp and database then why we separated them on this video?
You are welcome. It was just for a demonstration that you can do it and it is my personal preference to have separated everything.

Should we have four servers? Can you create an Enhance panel with only two servers?
You can even with the single server, but that's not very recommended. If one goes down, everything will be down.

If your db goes down or app server goes down. Enhance will still not work right?
Yes, there is always possibility. If you have everything separated and db or webapp server goes down, Enhance will work.
