Running the Cyberpanel script I found that MariaDB blocks the Hetzner IP ranges. So I'll have to figure out how to install MariaDB manually because the install script fails.

I have numerous IP addresses setup with virtualhost where in the configuration do I state my static ip address. Also I'm runnning apache2 so do I have to make a virtualhost file and redirect it?

I think i missed the part, how do the vpn server communicate with the other instances ? For example we have a vpn server, and another instance where we host websites, or even multiple instances. How does vpn communicate with those instances to forward traffic ?

Hi, and thanks a lot for this super interesting topic! I also think MeshCentral is one of the best applications for managing clients. It is very powerfull and easy to use - I love it! Why do you use MeshCentral with NPM instead of MeshCentral only (apart from the fact that you want to use subdomains)? Unlike NPM, MeshCentral has 2FA. I don't see the advantage of using NPM because MeshCentral offers Let´s Encrypt and additional Security Features (for example "LoginKeys"). Another reason against NPM is that the actual image (01.07.2024) from jc21 still has many vulnerabilities (see with trivy: HIGH: 79, CRITICAL: 4l). As long as NPM does not offer 2FA and there are so many vulnerabilities in the image, I would refrain from using it on a VPS. Another problem is, that many users have cgnat internet, so no unique public ip address to whitelist. And normaly most Clients are not installed an VPS, but in the Homelab, so no possibility th whitelist them. A video about installing MeshCentral in Homelab (not on a VPS) for all Clients in the Homelab only would be nice.
