Oml I tried to make a Rube Goldberg machine for class. I worked nonstop all week when today I realized it didn't work at all. It's due by midnight, so I decided to try and hustle to do the alt assignment, a report on his life. The machine in the beginning makes me want to cry it's so good.
Rube Goldberg machines are designed and built backwards, starting with the final, meaningful action, like turning a page, hammering a nail, or zipping a zipper. No point adding another step until every step you have works. This is obvious if you've ever built one, but someone just starting to think about it might make the mistake of starting at the initiating action and working your way to the meaningful action.
I miss my mouse trap game, as a child I used it a lot to trap my villians more than actually playing the game lol, I was a fan of his writing though for "the three stooges" and the precursor of "Ted and his stooges".
Reeeaaaaalllly hate that AP physics is making us do a one minute project due this tuesday. Had absolutely no time at all to start it thanks to other classes
Use of animals (e.g. aiming a hairdrying at a hamster in a narrow trap in the first demo) in these machines, especially in contests, should be OFF-LIMITS!!! If this is this guy's public display, what's he doing to animals in PRIVATE or when developing/testing his machines & they DON'T work as planned? How is he in CHARGE of judging the contest? The #HumaneSociety should arrest people like this? REALLY BAD TASTE/PROMOTION, @CBSSundayMorning!

It’s really hard making one
My science teacher is making me do something like this I think. Which is annoying
"If you've got a Rube Goldberg worth its salt, you'll go viral"
I wish :(
This is how dude perfect started
