@@dennist61 Of course Iowa isn't going to win out. I had them going 5-7 at the beginning of the season. How many seasons has Iowa had in the last 50 years where they finished with less than 3 losses? Not too many. They have never been nor will they ever be an elite program. Especially since NIL and loose transfer rules came into effect. Iowa is a stepping stone program. If an athlete has a breakout year, into the portal he goes in search of a team with more financial incentives. Iowa historically has one to two teams per decade that are legitimate title contenders, yet they have always fallen short. I suspect it will be the same for the playoffs. It's insane to expect Iowa to compete for a national championship every season.... Unless they consistently have a 15 million dollar roster every season.
Yes. Time for Sulivan. I don't even care what happens. I just want something DIFFERENT to watch for viewing interest. Thanks for the memories, Cade. Enjoy the couple of million, and have success in your future endevors.
We might get some turnovers and short fields and make it easier on Cade, and make him look just good enough to keep starting him. I have no doubt the defense will be ready after last week's mess.
Of course they should go to Sullivan, let's face it, Cade isn't getting drafted from the NFL, that's point #1. #2 is that the teams main goals are gone. So, there is basically nothing left but the future and since Cade is gone after this year, move on to Sullivan now, and even get some game time to the 3rd stringer now. How much further down the road will both of these guys be letting those two play out the rest of the season. How much more that would help with recruiting for future years? If guys see an actual offense improvement, guys will be much more likely to make a commitment. The offensive line needs to improve along with getting some better receivers. But who knows, maybe the current receivers are way better than what we've seen as a result of Cade's poor play.
You said everything I've said in my comment on another vid. Right down to the part about Cade not being drafted. Let's face facts, in the days of NIL loyalty to a player is gone, now it's produce or warm the bench. So with that in mind, play Sully and see what he's got for next year or hit the portal as soon as it opens.
You bring up a good point. Are we now going to see clauses in these NIL contracts for players, such as ensuring they are the starter if healthy?? Cripes what a mess.
If TL wants more Sully and isn't getting him in, that is on TL. Unless KF holds the reigns to the Off, then we were all correct for a decade on who runs the offense.
Yes Yes yes yes time for Sullivan!!!!!!!
This season is basically over....time to see what next year will be like!!
3 losses and it's over? 😂😂😂
@JackelinHyde no playoff spot, no big ten title and what kind of crappy bowl bid would we get?....we probably won't win out either.

Cade plays a full game, and no the pass game isn't showing up in October.
I'm worried that northwestern is going to be bad so Cade will look good against them and Kirk will use that as an excuse to keep him in

Cade is a bill of goods. The game has passed him by. Time for Sully.

It's the 7th game, the clock is running time for a change. The defense needs a break. The fans do too! Let Tim Lester have something to work with.
Yes time for change say goodbye to conservative Kirk!
That would cost 47 million to buy out his contract. Be better off to spend half of that on the roster and be in championship contention next year.
It’s been time. Will it be time? Not in Kirk’s world. He will use a beat down of northwestern to stay status quo.
I don't think Iowa will give northwestern a beat down.
If everyone praises cades game and talk about his impressive stats, and how it was worth money a 1 game suspension, then Sullivan may start

The offense most definitely runs thru bum Ahh Ferentz
If Tim wants Sullivan and doesn't get him...then Kirk has/is the issue, not Tim
