Honestly, the only *fake* thing about it is it wasn't a legit skyblock world. Everything else was fully legit. You didn't cheat the items or effort that went into the sky island itself, and I'd even argue the extra effort of setting it up and hiding what evidence you could was still an impressive ordeal, especially when one fall could not only *lose* you your hardcore world as a whole, but reveal the entire gameplan in an embarrassing fail. Honestly, pretty impressive altogether.
@@dbptwg Where exactly did he cheat? Did he spawn in items using creative mode, commands, or mods? Did he bring in items from outside of his Skyblock setup beyond what is normally in Skyblock? No, he dumped all his old items into some hoppers and started fresh, then generated new blocks from nothing but standard Minecraft mechanics just like you would in a normal Skyblock. The only thing that wouldn't be there normally is those two flower pots to hold the shrooms and some sandstone to replicate the floating sand. If anything, he made this challenge tougher, because if he died in this challenge, he'd also lose his hardcore world. You are hung up on the letter of the law instead of the spirit of the law. I just trusted that Loony wouldn't fake a video. All the other vids I've seen from him seemed fine so I assumed this one was just a hc series. Man, you had me fooled.
I have my phone set, so at nine pm it goes to black and white (it helps with sleep), I noticed the smooth sandstone in the inventory. I even though "what's that block?" but ultimately was too lazy to turn off the black and white, just to see what block it was. I enjoyed the series, and it was realistic. The signs were there, but to be honest, a lot of skyblock maps break, so people just cheat and fix the issues. Also the snow can just mean it's in a cold biome. I don't expect content creators to announce every time the map breaks or something. I ultimately don't care, I watch because it's entertaining, and if someone creates the map in creative or hardcore (Loony you madman, damn), it basically doesn't change anything. When I play some map or challenge, there are times I need to cheat, just so I can play. I'm not gonna be mad at someone, because they needed to do the same. Great work as always! ❤You pulled really elaborate prank on us. ^^
Wow - another amazing video, Loony! You definitely got me. I fully believed you were just doing a skyblock challenge, but doing it in your hardcore world is so much riskier and something I don't think I've ever seen done before. Can't wait to see you on stream soon!
You could've started an actual skyblock series and I would've watched so I don't understand why the deception but that was a fun reveal anyways! Could you not have popped a totem to drain your XP all the way or does it not work that way? I had never played Skyblock so i didn't realize that the snow was out of place and the advancements I just assumed were edited out. All in all, it's not out of place to think that you'd start a different kind of challenge just to mix up the content variety so I'm actually a little sad that there won't be more skyblock. I am excited to try that string duper in my own world though! Thanks for the ride Looney!
I did see you didnt get the Recipe Unlocked thing on the top right, but I just ignored the thought... Because on a SkyBlock map I had made for my friends I had already used the /give command to already unlock all recipes on them and I thought this map used a similar datapack. Nice prank and would be the best if sent out on April 1st...
I just said on episode 4 that the only thing I noticed was you not buliding lower down. I also did see snow later on but I figured that it was a map in a different biome; nothing says you have to start in plains. If weʼre counting things on that level, it does also explain why you did villager trades instead of a passive mob farm.
I screamed in the sand stone scene and laughed at the zombie scene .... we believed because we trusted you well proud of you for tricking all of us (mean it) ... we really watch things for entertainment not to be detectives (man I could have figured it out ahhhhh) oh well now I will never trust anything or anyone (I always had that quote and always never went by it)
I never played Skyblock, I only play regular Minecraft. At first I was just wondering why you weren't mining the Center-Block (the one which gives you blocks and mobs one after another), then I thought maybe it's another version of Skyblock... also the "murder" of the chickens got me thinking, when no death message occured cause of the void... but I thought maybe it got cut in the editing... you still got me fooled. I never thought that this wasn't Skyblock! Non the less I had lots of fun being fooled, so thanks for that Looney 😁
I haven't seen any of your videos before as far as I'm aware, but I'm definitely gonna start watching your channel as your videos just have an overall funny chill vibe

Hi Loony, i watched all your skyblock episodes and you definitely got me. Its crazy to look back on all the close calls knowing what the stakes were. This was an awesome project and it will be so cool seeing your island randomly when you fly around your world! Also im very exited for the smp!
@LoonyMC if you put your lava on a block with drip stone underneath, you can make it drip into a cauldron that generates lava source blocks (get drip stone from the wandering trader). I've done this to make entire portals but the one drawback is it takes a while. :/

Faked the series by just playing actual normal skyblock in a different world. No wonder everyone was fooled, the fact you're in another save has no bearing on the playthrough basically at all.
So even if it was "faked" you adhered to the expectations standard with a skyblock run and played by the rules, so why would any of us viewers be mad? From the comments, no one is, great series, great video

damn and I was really looking forward to finding out how you dealt with not having lava for the rest of the skyblock 😂 but I admit I wasn't expecting the twist to be "this is actually way HIGHER stakes than you thought."
I wouldn't say the series was faked, just simulated. After all, the challenge you faced was real, just with different stakes
So what was the point he was trying to prove?
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING
That it’s easy to fake videos like this
@@lucasgoodwin280Faking by... ahem... doing everything from scratch without godmode? It's much easier to fake everything from creative, no?
@@sytchnoth yeah I agree on that one… it would have been a more interesting concept had he just done it in creative. But I guess it’s just trying to say a lot can be covered up without the viewer giving any attention to it
from what I've pieced together, the point is that these kind of 'hardcore challenges' can easily be faked (with or without mods)
Scariest series ever with all the close calls 😂.
so sketch
I just trusted that Loony wouldn't fake a video. All the other vids I've seen from him seemed fine so I assumed this one was just a hc series. Man, you had me fooled.
I mean, at the end of the day, you still did the skyblock challenge, just not in a skyblock world.
"to prove a point"
proceeds to do a self advertizement instead of ever saying what that point was, or that commenter
All Minecraft UA-camrs are one and the same.
That's unironically really cool
In these "hardcore videos" trends, couldn't people easily fake everything with mods? To me, it's just for views for gullible young viewers.
That's exactly my point... streams or it didn't happen..
Glad you enjoyed it, I'll continue the series later, but first there's some epic multiplayer content coming your way!
watching this knowing it is your hardcore world I'm suddenly very scared every time you bridge over "the void"
I screamed in the sand stone scene and laughed at the zombie scene .... we believed because we trusted you well proud of you for tricking all of us (mean it) ... we really watch things for entertainment not to be detectives (man I could have figured it out ahhhhh) oh well now I will never trust anything or anyone (I always had that quote and always never went by it)
"Snow isn't common for Skyblock"
Actually it's... the original map is in a Taiga If I'm not mistaken, but it does snow in it.
My bad on that one, I thought it was plains!
What point were you trying to prove???
Faked??? This is like double effort of any sky block series i had ever seen
It's not fake if you didn't cheat
fake
/feɪk/
noun: fake; plural noun: fakes
a thing that is not genuine; a forgery or sham
So basically you played skyblock in your hardcore world, the only thing that was faked is that it was a new world
I never played Skyblock, I only play regular Minecraft.
Non the less I had lots of fun being fooled, so thanks for that Looney 😁
thats oneblock iicr
I haven't seen any of your videos before as far as I'm aware, but I'm definitely gonna start watching your channel as your videos just have an overall funny chill vibe
im absolutely flabbergasted, i really did think it just was some side thing you where doing, very good on hiding all the things, ggs
The way my job dropped, I can always count on you to take Minecraft to the next level. From the dragon glitch to now this, your world is going to have so much history. Love seeing it all come together!
Hi Loony, i watched all your skyblock episodes and you definitely got me. Its crazy to look back on all the close calls knowing what the stakes were. This was an awesome project and it will be so cool seeing your island randomly when you fly around your world! Also im very exited for the smp!
Dude, you did so much more than just a skyblock world. You did it in hardcore, and set the whole thing up yourself too 💀
Props man
"To prove a point" what point did you prove? Lol
Probably that not every video or challenge is real
@LoonyMC if you put your lava on a block with drip stone underneath, you can make it drip into a cauldron that generates lava source blocks (get drip stone from the wandering trader). I've done this to make entire portals but the one drawback is it takes a while. :/
I have been bamboozled... DUDE WHAT IF YOU HAD DIED?!!
The fact that you aren't getting any achievements is what would seem most "off" to me.
If anything this only makes it more impressive
That's an incredibly cool idea.
what point was bro tryna prove 💀
Now you just need to come clean about faking your hardcore world too, can't wait for the "big reveal" video
Or you click the live page on my channel, see a couple thousand hours of streams and realize that I'm legit. Enjoy! ;)
@@LoonyMC Ahh, live streams, the indisputable proof that there's no backups or copies of the world going on. A "never" would've sufficed as an answer, no need to double down on this ruse.
@@happyhippo1043 may i ask for literally any proof of loony cheating
3:48 wouldn’t it have been easier if you just cleared out your ender chest enough then put it all in it, then punched the enderchest?
I have no idea how Skyblock actually works, and this is the first video of yours I’ve seen, so… Congratulations on the successful run and on the new series?
lol, thanks and welcome!
I thought you were up to something especially when you just so happened to end the series on a cliffhanger but i definitely wasn't expecting this!
Haha love the comment, thanks so much!
Damn Loony you got all of us fooled. But…….. you wouldn’t be your amazing self if you didn’t prove that point and pull it off so flawlessly. This is why we all tune in to your content. Keep it up.
"to prove a point" what point? what point did you prove?
Actually, it seemed true and believable, Loony! You did super well for a Skyblock challenge for a while, I was shocked to see it was faked, genius!
I have been here since 10k subs as Ro De and it’s awesome to see how far you have come! Although I miss the livestream I only see improvement in your videos ever time you make a video! Keep up the good work and don’t lost this hardcore world like you lost the last!
my man doesn't know that the default biome for Skyblock is tundra.
So like…….what was the point he proved?
That he made a skyblock playthrough in his hardcore world and people thought it wasn't. And it's pretty cool
@@kreuner11 so the point he proved was that humans are idiots and anyone can fake stuff like this?
I'd say you did the challenge as legitimately as you could under the circumstances you set for yourself. No mods, self-made island, still starting with nothing otherwise. Doesn't sound fake at all to me.
Omg I can just imagine you giggling as you replied to my comment at episode 1 about naked and afraid and the deceit smp comment. You got us real good loony, real good.
kind of a bummer this is the first video from your channel i get recommended
Well played, i didn't think anything of it. Because I've only played skyblock once. 😂 I still enjoyed these weekly videos, though. ❤
Almost heart breaking how fooled I was. I also cannot believe you slept because you never would’ve before. Excited to see the new series love the content!
This is amazing! I was confused by the mushrooms in pots but my skyblock world does have snow too (different creator) so yeah you totally had me fooled :D but it is a great Idea!!
I was too
first time findind your channel, but if i was a subscriber who saw the entire series i wouldn't have noticed any of that (in part because i'm used to the old skyblock map, where it indeed had freezing areas) but to be honest right now i would have been amazed on how good you managed to fool me xD
“you’ll see what you believe you are watching, even if there’s mountains of evidence pointing to something else” 🔥 🔥
The setup might have been fake but the challenge was very much real and the stakes were the same (build a huge pool below the island on the surface next time)
Hey Loony! Can’t wait to see the hardcore world livestream to return
You don't have to wait long xD
@@LoonyMCawesome!! And keep up the hard world loony! Love the vids!
@@LoonyMCwoooo I'm so excited
Legitimately impressive gaslighting. You played the challenge fair, and even made it harder by risking your hardcore world. Respect!
