Waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
The Midnightluker is after me and is set out to get me. Can I survive?
The Midnightluker is a mob that was inspired by the popular Cave Dweller and Night Luker mod.

Here's some info on the Midnight Lurker:
1) It will spawn near you and wait for you to notice it.
2) It's kinda like the opposite of the Night Dweller. Like, The Night Dweller chases you if you make eye contact with it, but the Midnight Lurker will teleport away if you look at it, meaning that you can save yourself by maintaining eye contact with it.
3) If you get close to the Lurker without looking at it, it will chase you. And if you manage to stay alive for more than 1 minute while being chased, it will teleport away.
4) The Lurker can break wooden doors, so i would suggest you to build iron doors.
5) The Lurker can also be invisible and can follow you.

I totally did not know about the Shapeshifter variant, and died. it was morning and the invisible lurkers were on my screen. a bit later, I looked over and saw a librarian. I walked over to trade with him, but he poofed into the Midnight Lurker and killed me lol.

info from my perspective:
doesnt seem to appear often and will only attack if you are vulnerable or close. Each encounter adds uncertainty
i wish my laptop could handle more than 2 mods

Hello! I just wanted to tell you that an update for the midnight lurker has released.
It has much more sophisticated ai and many new mechanics, animations and other content involving it developed in a month and a half! (More important stuff below :))
When i initially came across the mod I thought it was a bit cheesy with the still popups and especially the sounds, so I made new sound design for the midnight lurker with Voxla.
Surprisingly nobody has made a video on the new update probably because nobody knows it even happened, but we both have put exponential passion and effort into this project especially Voxla so i just wanted to make it known of the update and if it was possible for you to review it again sometime!

I dont think ive changed anything really tbh. I just put overall settings to low or something
