"Technical breakdown.
Started with eyelash length fringe, which sets length for layers. So cut em first if they don’t have em.

Perimeter/length
Cut blunt at desired length. I went a couple inches below hairline at nape. Used a texture shear to cut so it’s sift edged line.

Take vertical 1/4” parting from apex to center front, elevate diagonal and cut with diagonal finger angle, measure a few times before you cut guide.

Pivot angle til you reach diagonal. Then Continue with diagonal partings, to a stationary guide to create concave layer.

Continue with all the same ingredients through crown. Diagonal, sections, elevation and finger angle til the hair doesn’t reach.

Nape
Elevate dry, smooth hair into a comb and cut at 45 degrees. I use my #samvillahair invisiblend for this. And ‘peel the hair’ don’t chomp.
•
Directional texture
Lay down hair at a diagonal fall, 0 degrees and slide through using an open/close technique close to the base of the scissor. So keep invisiblend open wide.

Regrounded the fringe at horizontal elevation with the point cutting shear to get some soft blunt back in the feel.
