hi can you tell me more about the situation atm? i heard there were conflicts with some cartel

Yes, there was a state of emergency, but that has passed. We were there during.m the emergency and felt very safe as the conflict was happening between the police and the cartels and it was mostly happening within the jails. However it has died down now.
