I drained mine bone dry and then put 1 qt in and it’s above the 2nd line...coming out of the crankcase vent when I ride. What should I do? Thank you
From the looks of it you put your oil filter housing on upside down. I was kinda asking myself if it really matters, I guess not..
I was told by the dealer to use 10 W 50 when I bought the bike brand new. Why? It’s a 2021 if that makes a difference.

My exhaust is glowing-red hot were it enters the engine and I can’t figure out how to fix it.
Typically, this means you're running too lean. You'll have to adjust your fuel flow.
is the bike supposed to be upright when checking sight glass? or leaning on stand.

Should the gasket under the oil filter cap be changed?
It never hurts, but just inspect it. If the rubber looks good and there are no leaks, you should be fine.
My skid plate don't move
hi,can i use 10-40 too on my 1977 kawasaki 175 and do i have an oil filter too on my bike and how much oil do i use thank you so much
10-40 is recommended for engine oil. Should be around a pint and a half, double check with the dipstick.

James Khoury yes you can, Oil is oil. They all have their own brand but as long as it’s 10-40 your good
The additional .1 quart will run out after 10 oil changes. I hope the life of the KLX-110 lasts more than 10 oil changes. 😀
This bike is a pain to do an oil change/filter change IMO.
