Hello! I just want to share with you my Symphonic Poem! I m very inspired by russian Orquestal Music! Hope you will enjoy it ua-cam.com/video/FtgOpfUirT4/v-deo.html an apology in advance for this post
Berlinphil youtube channel, Prokofiev is my favorite composer of all time, so I always check your channel to see if you have posted any videos of his works. Sadly you only have 2, and they are the EXACT SAME! You really couldn't have posted any other excerpt from any other Prokofiev work? I guess I'll just wait another year for the next Prokofiev post.
I too found Dudamel more exciting than Luisotti. Luisotti did a good job, Berlin sounds great as normal but Dudamel gave a Prokofiev 5 that is almost as good as Karajan. Berlin and Dudamel really should issue it on DVD and CD.
I always enjoy watching the clarinet player in the beginning of this movement
It is Bence Bogányi, principal bassoon of the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.
It is Joachim Welz from the Deutsches Symphonieorchester Berlin.
All is beautiful and agreeable!!!
I see myself in the audience seat!!!! :D
Prokofiev once said that as a small boy he fell off a pony and hit his head.. and he's been writing music ever since.
Dificult Symphone Prokofiev! Flutes, Oboés, Clarinets, Bassoons, Horns! Mr. Luisotti Excelent Conductor. Bravíssimo!!
That is Yurij Khostov, student at our Orchestra Academy until end of April 2012.

True, true, there is a recording of Piano Concerto 2. Point taken.
in fact there is an excerpt of the prokofiev piano concerto 3 with bronfman and nezet-seguin
It's the second one, Allegro marcato.
I think there's also an excerpt from Romeo and Juliet with Abbado.
I personally prefer this interpretation.. you?
who is playing bass clarinet in this performance? i've never seen him before!
who is the principal bassoon in this concert???
Who is the principal horn in this concert?
Hmm...Who is playing at 1:04? :)
what mvt. is this?
where is the like button?
No, the other one was with Dudamel

La musica si ascolta non si gurda!
Surprisingly small strings section. I'd totally expect 10-12 violas and cellos each, instead of 8.
I find Dudamel's interpretation better. Better sound in general from the orchestra, better balanced, more contrast. More exciting for me.
schöne Geste
Although Prokofiev is a great composer, sometimes I find him a bit too cold and sleek for my liking. Shostakovich is still my main man
well, better than viola for sure
lol
It's Michael Jackson.
everywoodwind player looks like there having a heart attack, so annoying
Lewis Reid Double Bass oh no, they have emotions towards the music they’re playing... lol
