I totally agree that a bulldozer would make a great addition! I'm a big fan of feeding my support/emergency motorways into the back of the existing network rather than feeding them in near the destination. It's counter-intuitive to deliberately put them further away but it often works out so much better than causing a traffic jam on the destination's doorstep.
for the bottom, middle yellow, it might work more efficiently if the cars entered from only one direction. You had the motorway bringing cars in from the south and the nearby houses coming from the north. If the motorway came in one square north of the yellow house, it might have survived longer.
Since houses won't spawn directly adjacent to a destination (in most game play), is it better to build roads along side the destinations? Otherwise you're taking up grid spots that could give you houses nearer the destinations.
I was excited for this video. I managed to get a 12k score on this one... don't ask me how. It only got me top 10 at the end of the week, fun challenge tho
