"WHEN LIFE STARTS LIFEING" That's a classic statement and O' so true. You've helped me a lot starting out in this business and If I was close I'd be glad to help you. Good luck
I feel you my Uso It’s usually the end of year and a little bit of the start of the new year is a struggle But shyt happens to see your strength 💪🏾It’s not how you fall, it’s about how you back ⬆️ up is real deal Holyfield You got this Uso💪🏾🤙🏾
Thanks for the content. As for your board... grid it out, either with permanent marker or tape, each order still gets its own line, and each of your shorthand items in it's own column, including current status (not just "ordered") and print out a legend to hang next to the board. Will make it much easier for anyone helping you to decode it AND much clearer for you to delineate what's what.
You need to go to the construction business and make them get you a commercial generator to handle your work load use extension cord. You got this ( great podcast last night).
I just got an overnight job to get back on minimizing my debt. I also just listed my first customizable, up-cycled bag on my page. No one has really showed interest in purchasing. I am trying to be patient! I have another bag in the works and am hoping to get it done and posted . My husband has been designing and testing a few hats, hoodies and shirts too. I know I need to be more diligent about promoting our small business and continue working on my skills…..Life has been hectic and it is only going to continue being this way. Find some time to put your health and headspace at the top of your priorities. Continue enjoying the journey and remember it’s not a testimony if there is no test.
It will get better brother. Stay strong and stay locked in. You might be stuck, and it’s ok to not have the answers for everything. That might be unacceptable for someone who always figures it out, However! We gotta invite GOD into situations where we are stuck. Control what you can control, and GOD will do the rest.
Similar strategy, I keep all my tracking for things in their own specific notebooks. Long term/ongoing things get a large binder, short term/dynamic things are kept in 5x7 notebooks, each with a title on the cover. I do this for everything- my day job, t-shirt business, personal projects, and even a few generic ones for grocery lists and ideas I have when I'm out and about. Even though my day job and final t-shirt designs are done in things like Autodesk Maya, Adobe Ai/Ps - I still like writing, tracking, and sketching by hand - maybe it's a late Gen X thing?
Yes u can..most single head embroidery machines need 110w..I have a 4 head embroidery hooked up to 110w outlet..some people just don't think outside of the box .I am a analyzer for all situations.there is always a better way or easier way to fix problems..most times it just common sense.
At this point, it looks like you might have to give your customers some kind of discount bc you might not make it on deadline. That's a lot to do, and you have like 4-5 days in hopes you neighbor will fix what's needed. Sucks. I feel you on that struggle of working and then coming home to working even more. But will take it as a blessing having some order...
Is your embroidery machine on 220 or 110? Why not just pick that bitch up and move it temporarily to the other side of the shop? Or run a heavy duty extension cord to where it is now? A cord is like $200 tops. Eliminate the downtime and then move it back when the power gets fixed not an ideal situation to run when you have only so much room but it would keep the jobs going.
Can you do a video on what is the best T-shirt blank to use for a streetwear clothing brand in 2025? Also, can you do a video on Instagram manufacturer and who are the best ones you would recommend
Sounds like the left side outlets aren’t on your breaker box. There’s 2 choices as a business owner, either find a solution for power on that side and keep the machines going, or cry about it, do nothing and lose money over it.
I think it's time you need to think about expanding. Maybe find another company that can do embroidery or shirts for you so that you can focus more on the business and social media, marketing side more. Or buy more equipment and hire someone to do more work for you so that you can take on more jobs. Figure out the cost of expansion vs taking on more work. If you can start to make a team around you, that will free you up some more as well as make you more profitable. Seems like you're in a good place where you have clients you can't even take on! Maybe time to look for a partner, or employee, or team and do the math so that you come out profitable. I was one of the fans that was hoping to get some work done from you! So I bet you have even more clientele if you opened up to it. Another idea might be to have classes where people can come and you can teach them the process, and during the process get to know some people that could possibly work with you, or for you. Or maybe even interns. Just throwing out ideas Either way, congrats, good luck! Always enjoying your videos
Can the embroidery machine run off a generator with pure sine wave inverter? Im in California as well, thinking of starting up and power outages are an issue where I live.
You’re an inspiration bro I don’t even watch any other channels about clothing brands and things around this nature. And I feel like I kinda know you somehow in a sense that you’ll always push through these obstacles in life no matter what. 💪

Exactly. There’s 2 types of business owners, those who can find a fix asap for their problems, and then those who just cry about it.
I think all non-restaurant small businesses are suffering at this time.
What brand hoodie are you wearing

Sounds like you do a lot of hats. Who does your digitizing?
