Hey Mat, I loved your video (clear and easy to understand). I have a question about Twilio sms and voice. I'm in Australia, and the prospects for my online specialist English language tuition services are all over the world. So, can I get an SMS and voice enabled Australian Twilio number and use it on WhatsApp to respond to queries (by SMS) or voice calls from across the world?
Really good question. I’ve honestly never tried to do that with WhatsApp using a Twilio number but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. WhatsApp requires texting a code to validate the phone number so I would say that you’d need to buy a number and turn on the ability for it to send global text messages. The other option is you could just buy something from mint mobile, and then link that number to WhatsApp. Mint mobile will sell you an E Sim card and there service is really cheap. So you could buy their five dollar per month service, never really use them, and connect the number to WhatsApp. that’s my immediate thought of the path I would probably take.

Hi, i was reviewing the Text App, i noticed the price varies depending on "Code" Do you mean "short code" for campaigns?
Do I need a premium Twilio account? I am trying to do this with my phone number on a trial account and it doesnt work.

how can you schedule at certain hours of the day to ring another number (after hour call forwarding)
That is a really good question and honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never tried to set that up within Twilio.
That said, within our CRM platform we do have the ability to set after hour call times. www.rockstarcrm.app
The problem is the call quality is shitty when its forwarded. Trying to figure that out
I am in the UK, and I do not see Studio flow option under "Configure With" - getting so frustrating trying to work it out. Do you have any advice?
Sorry for the late reply but UA-cam studio notifications. Haven’t been showing up on my iPhone. My recommendation would be to reach out to Twilio customer support. They typically do a great job when I reach out to them.

What if I wanted to make a call?
You’d want to follow Twilio’s instructions for creating something.
In the Studio Console, how do you forward an incoming call to your cell number but once you answer the call you get a message stating it's a call from the business Twilio number so I can answer in a more professional way?
Inside of Twilio studio flow you can do this simply. The call forwarding recipe works perfectly if you follow the step-by-step instructions.

You can forward to a mobile phone, yes. But to edit in Twilio you have to log into their console with a computer
