I was able to see them and Starset open for Breaking Benjamin at an outdoor concert years ago. All 3 of the bands were fantastic and the sound was so good.
One of my favorites for them. Most definitely a well-purposed song complete with a very sensitive subject. Great song for redemption, resolve, or closure.

One thing I hate about most live performance videos is that the electric guitar sounds like churning and the person's voice wavers, goes out of tune and sounds nothing like the CD. Even great singers like Amy Lee do that. But this one was different! He sounds just like he does on the CDs! This makes me very very happy :D thanks so much for posting this!

Some bands struggle greatly every now and then some don't, happens to just about every band who tours and performs live at least once in their life, these dude's are really good live but have def had a few rough performances here and there.
Live performances are poor indicators of vocal talent for the reasons you mentioned. Acoustic shows, such as this one, let singers use their real voices.
Jesse Hasek doesn't go that high because it's unnecessary in an acoustic version. He has to kind of shout to get that high and they don't want that. It's beautiful the way it is

Saw these guys opening for Megadeth. They made it through their set, but it was brutal. I've never seen a band take so much shit thrown at them. 😂
