UPDATE: As of posting this, I finished the story and I'm level 24, the story PICKS UP SO MUCH and the ending is so epic so please stick with it! Also, endgame activities are super fun to grind for rewards but they wont be easy! Anyways, hope you enjoyed the video, let me know if you want more :)

Players arguing why Genshin is better than WW or why WW is better than Genshin, just enjoy what you want to play, you can play GL, HSR, HI3, PG, ZZZ or WW, your choice, it's just sad seeing the fandom trash talking the other game from the other game, let the community play what they want, if you don't like the game, no need to spat it out on the internet, just play the game you prefer! People have the habit or the urge to defend their favorite game and trash talk the other, where will that lead? Nowhere.

True. People enjoy different types of games, so it's great that there are so many different ones out there. I've been enjoying WuWa so far (minus all the lag issues! 😑 I hope that they'll fix that soon!), but there is no way that I'll stop playing GI. Teyvat has become my second home!

As of writing this, my only biggest gripe with WuWa is that the characters and enemies have elements but there is no elemental reaction/effect feature, like what Genshin has. I want to have a fun combat experience with Jianxin swarming all the enemies while Encore sets the twirl on fire. This wouldn't even count as copying Genshin, this feature has existed far before Genshin.

Dragon Roost Island - The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker
The combat in this game alone is enough to keep me playing for hours and hours. Doro is right, it's satisfying, it makes you feel badass, the fights are rewarding by itself. Hopefully everyone getz a better experience soon! Trust in the devs!
Fortunately I didn't experience any issues on my end, I'm currently sitting on Union Lv28 with 60%+ explored on most areas so just translate that to how much I've been playing since launch.
Pre-downloaded it, played it asap, no issues. I think it's cause the game is built on Unreal Engine (instead of Unity where the other game is built on) which is why it tends to be harder to render for most low-mid end devices.
But I'm running it with a 3060ti and I've no issues on PC even on ultra settings as well.
well, I'm hoping the fps drop issue and blurry image issue in smartphones need to be resolved quickly
I’ve personally haven’t played the game yet since I’m waiting until console release but it seems fine for a very 1.0 game? Of course Genshin has more since it’s had a million updates to it. The graphics and gameplay seem fun , the characters look great (though Genshin will be the only gatcha game I spend money on). I’m surprised that so many people have issues with the English voice over since honestly some the the Genshin/starrail cast sound iffy at times too?
Is it bad that through all of this editing and well thought out video, it's the Wild Arms theme that won me over?

Hopefully they make a character like Alpha (if you know, you know) since some characters have the exact same designs as their other game PGR (which I still play)

One of the things that I love is the fact that world feels alive and believable, like I was impressed seeing soldiers fighting the enemies out in the open. Also cities feels like they can really contain a nation worth of people. It's just immerseve

@tochka4881 yeah and theres also seemingly no room for people to actually live in. Like theres stores and shops and restaurants and big plazas. But where are they living? Very rarely do you see just normal housing in the genshin cities and when yih do there's not much of it, and definitelt not enough compared to the size of the city

Here's me, sitting in my own little corner enjoying Genshin, Honkai and now Wuthering Waves witout caring for this Gatcha war that's going on. Genshin needs healthy competition, not for it to be "killed" and I can see Wuthering Waves being that healthy competition that Genshin needs. Nothing will be a World of Warcraft killer but it has healthy competition like Final Fantasy XIV and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I'm not gonna judge the game until console release as I'm having a hard time adapting to mobile controls(I never normally play moba games) but despite that I'm enjoying my time in WW.
Looked it's all good from the WuWa community until that guy "Basedman" comes along and shit talks the game on every single Wuwa related post

I think it's better this way. People who hate WW but didn't play may check wideo out and maybe at least change their opinion a little and try the game.
I do like how the devs are responding, but the lag is still so bad that it’s basically unplayable. So much of this game is about precision and I can’t do it when it’s a slideshow. I hope they can eventually fix it
With you on this and i have an iPhone 13 and experience lag. All low 60fps
Update: After deleting the game and then reinstalling it works immensely better. Currently running 60fps with ease now. Only experiencing ping dips every so often but thats it.
Yeah, I’m on pc with lots of space and still have lag, I think this game will be great fun once it’s optimised

@@quis398 I played on my Iphone 13 and was running fine, maybe the game lags when you dont have storage (just guessing since I have over 50gb of space left), I mainly play on PC so not sure about long sessions.

I really like how they setup talent materials, instead of equally splitting all characters into one of 3 talent material upgrades they split it according to the weapon type. Great way to prefarm materials
My experience on mobile (ROG 6) was tbh pretty good. I put it on all high with FSR (which is such a blessing), and it averages around 45/50 fps. And it stays on 45/50 wherever I go and it rarely dips even on waves of enemies. The mobile version also allows you to move the majority of the UI element to your liking. Thank you Kuro Games! The combat on mobile is pretty challenging already, but being able to set it out however I like is such a blessing. And yes, the combat system is very fun.
The main problem that I have with WuWa mobile is the text. God damn they are fucking tiny. Can't read a thing in the dialogue option and the skills.
And I agree with Doro. The voice acting on WuWa imo is very hit or miss. Some of the characters just make me wanna skip the story and not play those characters (you, YangYang), and I think their audio recording system is also a bit wack. The mouth flaps and the "sssss" sound at the end of each line is too noticable. Could be the mic, could be audio mixing decisions, idk.
As for the story, the intro is really whatever. I gotta bring Genshin here, since it's my comment, I do what I want. For Genshin intro, at least we are made aware of the traveler and the traveler were given time to tell their identity. Traveler got caught by an unknown entity, lost her sister, caught Paimon, now wondering around to find the sibling. After the first 5 mins, I know who they are, what they want, and their quirks. On WuWa on the other hand, it was like:
"Hey, you're Rover, right? Oh you lost your memory? Cool. Anyway, the Tacit Discord are blablablablablabla." Man at least make me attached to the main character or smth. Idk if they intend it to be mysterious or smth, but I just don't like the intro of WuWa. I hope the story get better.

The cbt1 intro is actually pretty good, the characters are actually suspicious of you which makes sense if we're looking from their perspective.

as a disabled gamer playing this game one handed and at union level 32 atm and close to 33 like 1000 from it i can say the combat is so so so so fun really easy to get in to and so on ya there's some problems with the game but i enjoy it for how hard it can get with hologram fights and such
Honestly I'm devastated that the game is not available on console yet. As someone who has to start out on mobile, it makes me cry a river when I see how good the game actually looks on pc 😭 and since there isn't even controller support for mobile yet, I had such a hard time with the intricate fighting system in the beginning. It took me multiple trys to give this game a chance because it almost feels like it was never intended to have a mobile port ...
But the thing is that you can REALLY feel the potential the game has and that's what made me come back to it over and over again, even if the mobile support (as of now) is not at a great state. I just hope more people will give this game a chance in the future 🙏🏻

Just that the fact it's the opposite of 'weapon banner is a scam' is one of the wonderful things I love about WW. Not to mention the ease of traversal and access to see progress. This game wants to be played.

WW glazers are as worse as GI glazers
its a beautiful game but its optimization and random ping in servers needs alot of fixing.
- It has good combat, but currently overshadowed by tons of stuttering and bad optimization
- Character designs are hit or miss
- Story is so bad, too much info-dumping and random names, and bad EN localization and makes me think that Paimon in Genshin wasn't that bad. Just because it has cool cutscene in the end doesn't make the story good.
- Music is unremarkable. How ironic, that the game who revolves around music and sound, but their BGM/music are godawful. Even some cash-grab gacha games has better and unique music than WuWa.
- Open world aspect has decent mobility, and thats it. The "point of interest" are unremarkable, compared to Genshin when I can pinpoint the place in single glance
- Characters VA is god-awful, similar with their music
- For graphic, I can't say for PC, but for mobile they're blurry af. It feels like my myopia got doubled by playing WuWa
Idk why people think it is better than Genshin, in reality it's just Tower of Fantasy Pro Max but with better combat. Overall, everything in WuWa outside the combat are worse Genshin, and there're also some parts that blatantly copy-paste, such as the UI, tutorial/chest rewards, the top up, etc etc.
holy shit I've scrolled so many comments and yours is the only reasonable one I've found, what on earth is going on with these people that they cannot make up their minds about simplest things 😫
from my personal experience, here are some cons:
1) graphics: while it may look pretty, it will take a toll on your computer. Relatively high minimum system requirements, so its pay-to-win in that aspect if you don't have a decent PC, you're gonna struggle to play the game in general.
2) movement: this is just for me personally, while the wall run, sprint, wall flip etc. are good, the "inertia" of the characters movement is so bad. it makes it seem you're walking on ice. But this is from a mobile player. But i've also seen people in PC have issue with this as well.
3) combat QoL: camera movement and the enemy targeting is really really bad rn. hope it gets fixed on future patches.
4) resources?: f2p resources are really scarce but idk if its just a new player problem. and some items require a lot of materials just to get. if you're the type of person who's impatient. Don't play this game cause you need to grind (for comparison genshin needs 50 ores to craft a free weapon, in wuwa triple that with 150ores.... this is just bruh). but hey a lot of people likes the grind.
and don't let the 240 max "stamina" fool you. For comparison a world boss in genshin needs 40 to claim with 8min per stamina recovery (180 stamina in 24hrs) so in genshin you can claim 4 world bosses in 24hours + 20 stamina extra. Wuwa needs 60 to claim a world boss with 6mins per stamina (240 stamina in 24hrs), so its only exactly 4 world bosses in 24hrs (its a bit less compared to genshin).
[disclaimer this does not mean "genshin is better than wuwa", this is just for comparison since genshin is the only realistic baseline for this genre of games and its also the game i'm most familiar with so the comparison are more accurate].
5) no skip button: some parts of the story doesn't have a skip button, and the character quests have almost zero skip buttons (skip buttons in story quest do exist but it only skips like a few lines and its also not that frequent, so its a slog especially if you don't care about the character and only care about the rewards)
6) mobile controls: its annoying especially the placement of the "gadget" button
7) combat in mobile: wuwa's combat isn't just about dodging and parrying, its also about switching characters using their intro/outro skills. And there are techs that are really hard to do in mobile or almost impossible to do in a realistic setting and its an integral part of the game since you will lose out on a lot of damage if you don't do these techs, Which is fine if you're a casual, but wuwa's combat is supposed to be less casual so what's the point of playing wuwa at that point.
the 3rd con is the most important, I got swap perspective with boss in challenge and got one shot. the Alt+F4 is the only way
On mobile I found out you freely can adjust where the buttons are on the screen in settings. Moved the gadget button out of the way and it made the game slightly less annoying to play for me. Still making my way through content to decide if this game is worth it to keep playing or not.
Having a good PC to play a graphically demanding game is not pay to win. Wtf.
Pay to win means something, which is giving the company money to win. Don’t just say "it can't run on my pc so it’s pay to win because I need to buy better hardware".

Agree heavily with your point on the camera. It's always going to be harder on mobile to pan around but the combat camera constantly loses sight of the enemies on its own. Amazing combat when it does work but man this is annoying.
I agree everything about what you said! So far the game is pretty good but I personally don’t see myself playing in the long run.
1) work; busy schedules. I don’t have much time to play a lot games during my work days.
2) storage. I play Genshin and HSR so I have like 20 GB ish left on my iPhone 12 Pro. (That includes wuwa)
3) starting a whole new game is time consuming and sometimes overwhelming at first. I like to do other stuff like hiking, walking, or exercising other than playing games.
I will play the game when the time comes, I know some people will say “oh just delete genshin” or “just buy another phone or get a PC”, I’ll stick in genshin in the long run (even tho there’s issues to resolve and I understand why people are pissed) for the story for the most part, I know it’s casual but that doesn’t mean I want everything to be too simple/easy mode.
Hope WuWa runs smoothly and competes (in a healthy way) Genshin that desperately needs.
As a mobile player, I was shocked to hear about the glitching and black screens. And yeah WuWa is really fun and I am enjoying the combat so much! And I honestly have to pay more attention here personally and think about how I want combat to go.

That's pretty much what I do for video games now, more often than not I even skip loggin in to genshin and WuWa.
Once they optimise it better for mobile, I'll be playing non stop
Genshin runs smooth with almost the highest settings but i can barely play with the lowest settings in WW which sucks
Just started summer break, and I might as well start playing this over the summer. I like having something new to play alongside my collection of games.
I think my only complaints are that some of the audio is janky; music abruptly cuts off if you go outside of certain areas and voice lines get cut off as well as some of the English VAs sounding a little robotic. My other complaint is that there is isn’t controller support for mobile which is a major bummer for me. I play genshin exclusively with a controller (mobile and ps4) since I have big hands and they take up half the screen. Once they add the support for it I’d probably play more. I know there’s probably nothing they can do for the voice actors other than fix the abrupt cut offs
So many of the English VAs sound robotic. Its terrible 😭Its so weird having one character sound absolutely amazing and then switch to the next and it sounds bad. The devs do seem to be listening to player feedback and hopefully they decide to go back and redo some of the voicelines after fixing some of the more major issues that are plaquing the game. Im super excited to see where the game goes and how much it will change

Absolutely agree. The female MC is so monotone and flat that it's sometimes just plain irritating when she speaks😅 still, lots of room to grow once they've sorted out their optimisation stuff and I look forward to that
@@crudestbutton1176 honestly i dont even want to find out how bad english dub was. I went to JP immediately as soon as i started the game 🤣. Some EN VAs also complained on the voice acting, some claiming that Kuro probably used the audio on first take? idk. . .

Thank you for your video! I agree with you, I'm loving this game and I was blessed enough to play it without problems. I hope they fix ploblems for those that can't play it because it's worthy in my opinion, in particular act 5 and 6 oh boy oh boy
Wuthering Waves is soo much better than Genshin Impact and here are the reasons:
1. Graphics
- WW graphics are 10 times better than Potato Impact which is huge for a serious PC gamer like myself.
2. Combat System
- WW combat system is also way better(heaps more fun imo) - obviously massive plus.
3. Artifacts
- WW have root based artifacts meaning you can farm much as you want, unlike Genshit Impact's super limited resin plus 99% crap artifacts combo.
- On top of that it's million times easier to get gg or perfect artifacts, so many people already have several perfect or near artifacts in WW.
- So its day and night compared to game like Genshin..
4. Wishes
- WW wish system is super generous compared to Genshin, so many people got 5 stars within 2-3x 10 wishes.
- WW developers already gave everyone one FREE 5 star hero, you know samething Genshin did for 3rd anniversary.. cough
- WW doesn't have total scam weapon wish like Genshin.. you get the 5 star weapon you select within 80 pulls(usually much quicker).
- Have fun getting Furina weapon by getting another two totally useless 5 star weapon first)
Honestly way I see it Genshin died on the release day of WW, personally I've spent tons of $$$ in Genshin but I will NOT be spending another cent on that total rip-off game graphics made for old Nokia phones.
Just play the freaking game. Doesn't matter if it WuWa HSR or genshin. The games are up there to enjoy and not to shit talk other fandom or community just because one game might have somethings better than the other. And if you really want to get into the criticism then people don't realise that it is just released and should understand we won't be getting everything from the get go yet the WuWa devs have given plenty of mechanisms from the start and the upcoming updates will just keep making it better.
If genshin would have released right now with the initial release back in the day. Honestly it would have died out real quick if another game like WuWa was in play at that time
You can certainly have a healthy discussion even on the topic of which is the better game. The problem is that the people that engage on these topics are not usually well equipped at making good discussion, especially if only 1 person is steelmanning the other. They can also be trolling or just simply obstinate. This is also the internet. My professor in comms used to tell me that people will always have something to say, but not necessarily the right skill to act upon it, which is why twitter is a cesspit. So its a good suggestion to just enjoy the games, but it is also a good thing to know why you shouldn't argue all the time and when is it appropriate to do so.

Story is boring, OST is non-existent/generic, character design is pretty bland too.
It's curious how people hype up Scar when he's essentially a big bundle of questions - acts like he knows us, we know nothing of him and people pretend he just... makes up for the bad story.
I'm almost lvl 30 and LOVE the combat - this game is still significantly behind Genshin in everything else though. If you're a combat andy, you'll love this game and I do hope they add a skip button to the main story as well ASAP.
To be completely honest, i love competition and hate brand loyalty but WUWA just doesn't feel polished enough, i really enjoyed the combat it's creative mechanics are fascinating but apart from that
Story felt generic, 90% of character designs are medicore at best and world isn't as immersive or polished as genshin's or hsr's
(which i was really skeptical at first because it being turn based but after i finally started playing 14 days ago i just binged every thing till penacony and it was truly beautiful both in terms of story , character design or immersion of the world)
My problem with wuwa's world 8s that it doesn't really have it's own Identity while honkai has a clear sense of identity of it being a space fantasy adventure and genshin's 7 (9 if we counte celestial and khanri'ah) regioncs feel realy unique and different from each other (not to mention dumeru being a 2 in 1 because it's desert being completely different from the forest)
Oh i forgot, the biggest complaint i have about wuwa is that it's voice acting for the most part was bad like really bad
to be fair. Genshin when first coming out, it was compared a lot to Breath of the wild and with the time when new areas came in and the story and lore evolved it became it's own thing. So yeah it has a lot of Genshin right now but a lot of its own and it will surely with the time become it's own thing.

BOTW and GI are both great and polished games but they are in 2 different genre so they both have huge market shares genshin solly dominates about 50% of gotcha market while BOTW is in top 5 highest rated games so it also has a huge market

Genshin might have had a lot of inspiration from BOTW but in concept it's almost entirely different it's a story driven, vast open world action rpg game with gatcha elements mixed in (with an atmosphere and world built around representing different resl life countries culture in real time)
Star rail Changed that with being space themed , extremely limiting the open world and making combat turn based
But WUWA is just literally genshin but better or worse in different aspects (combat being better , world building, story and character design being worse+ treating the player base a lot better (to the point of it being considered bribing)

Even if Genshin didn't exist this game would be a bore. Even the combat is too easy and has no impact or meaningful depth. Also a laughable story, no music, trash voice acting and boring designs. Yeah, Tower of Fantasy 2 would have been a more fitting name.
We all agree WuWa has a really friendly beginner system. And we all agree WaWu doesn’t have a artifacts system but Echoes that requires players to explore the world to build their beloved hero

Funfact on mid-higher end PCs/Laptops : U get lower temperatures when playing in Highest settings as compared to playing it on Medium settings. FPS remains around the same :D

The story issue is less that it’s a slow burn and more that nothing in chs 1-2 actually matters. It’s also significantly longer than the prologue ch of Genshin and other “intro” stories.
Ch 5 feels like it introduced a lot of (good) things that the first 2 chapters needed to at least tease. That the Retroact Rain isn’t used for an MC with amnesia is a massive oversight.
It's told in the story by Jiyan (and the Rover themselves asked about it), that the Retroact Rain only affect people who has deep attachment and has been staying in the area for a long time. Since Rover has only woken up in Gorge of Spirit (which has none of RR) probably a week ago before they encountered RR, the RR won't show their past and they can only see the Phantom from others
@@ydatura true, but there's absolutely nothing forcing Kuro to structure the opening that way. Rover *does* have a deep attachment and history with the area, they just don't remember it. All you have to do is change their starting location, leave them out in the rain before Yangyang & co find her, and you're off to the races.
I just started playing Wuthering Waves. So far I'm lv 17 and i absolutely love it. I happened to get Chongli at like 22 pity. The battle system. The enemies. The story. The land itself. All of it is just really good. I feel like I can fully immerse myself in the lives of the characters. I can see myself enjoying this game for as long as its around.
11:22 playing wuthering Waves on mobile was my last straw. I ordered a pre built PC and I can't wait for it to arrive. I'm finally making the switch. Now I can play ANY game I want now that I will soon have every gaming platform. Once my PC gets delivered I will play a lot of wuthering Waves.

I’m convinced that many of the ‘toxic’ people attacking WuWa, at least from the Genshin side, haven’t actually played the game. And that might not be entirely their fault, the game is just straight up unplayable on most mobile devices, like they can’t get past the first loading screen. I guess seeing all these CCs playing wuwa and having an absolute blast may have caused resentment to build up in certain parts of the Genshin community. In a better world when this game released without these technical issues maybe there wouldn’t be such toxicity within the gacha game space.

I love how people take those 10 pulls out of proportion saying sht like "Genshin could never", when Genshin literally didn't even have performance issues. I've been playing both games day one, and in this game, ever since they implemented a new hotfix, the game's been very laggy and unpleasant to play. I have a pretty decent pc and it was alright before the hotfix. Like at this point the 10 pulls should've been expected.

I felt the first three acts to be boring,After scar,That Yandere lady and her organization appears(Wont tell the name so that other dont get spoiled) from chapter 4,The story gets good for me,They did most of the stuffs balanced after that,The ending was uff,So intense.Combat is Epic,I love exploration stuffs,I guess its worth to try!Feel free to skip the story if you wish,They have skip button everywhere,But like i said,The story got me from 4 th act,Good luck to new players going to play the game xD

the only thing i dont like about this game is the jump animation. it was so fast it felt like old 3rd person games. I like how genshin impact’s jump animation. everything else is great.

I have been enjoying the game so far! One thing is I’ve been crashing a lot and getting kicked out of the wuthering waves app (I play on my iPad). That one bit pisses me off but other than that this game is absolutely gorgeous so far! The character designs and the wishing system is such an amazing thing for us people who are f2p! I do hope they’re able to fix the lag issues but they’re such a kind and considerate team and they actually listen and take the feedback which is so nice to see because you feel appreciated by the devs!

My Wuwa crashes a lot, but I've fixed it now. It runs okay and it only crashes every 10 minutes to an hour. It's been fun to play it too

I am a genshin player an thought WW was a cool game. I really like it and there's lots of things I like but some things I'm not sure about. For example I don't like how you need a different type of wish for the weapon banner. For me it's also very glitchy because I play in Mobile and my phone gets very hot. I am not going to stop playing WW but I hope they fix some of their problems.

Every game including Genshin had bugs like these on their 1.0 patch so stop making it seem like as if it’s a big issue because they have already fixed the bugs and they are now optimizing the game even further to give you a better experience.

honestly, im not really enjoying the mechanics of the game, they feel sort of clunky and not "smoothly" put together. ive spent over 25-30 hours playing and so far its just okay; i feel like it has been overhyped. of course its a new game and there is good to it and hopefully itll imrpove more in the future, this is just my opinion and i can sort of see the game phasing out over time
Yeah the camera during battle is weird, the assisted aim targets enemies that are further away, and movement during parkour is pretty unresponsive

A lot of QOL improvements conpared to genshin as a genshin fan. No stamina dash. Parkour. Grapple hook on demand... nevertheless the "challenging combat" actually sets me off. I think it'll be fun having a parry mechanic and more dynamic combat, but i don't actually want my "daily farm sim" to be challenging, as weird as it sounds. This sounds like a game i need to commit time to to some extent. Genshin is incredibly casual, for better or worse. 10 minutes in then i go play other games. Nevertheless i do definitely want to try the game out for combat alone. Still sounds fun.

For example the dodge with the time slow. Or the tutorials that teach you the character's combo with the attack sequence, it even looks the same in WuWa.
The weapon banner also gives you the weapon in 60 wishes guaranteed, ever since the last 2 updates.
So no, WuWa doesnt do everything's better than hoyo, but what is true is that kuro and hoyo inspire each other and take features from each other and that will make each game better. They're competitors in the same niche.

I'm 31 so far. And honestly, its nothing special, its mid, just a generic gatcha game. And while the combat is cool during boss fights, all other fights in the open world becomes super stale very, very fast. And trust me you will be spending A LOT of time in the open world farming echos as this game is extremely grindy. Voice acting is utter ass too, like utter deadpan delivery in monotone voices, except for a few. The story is also meh to me personally, diden't grip me in any way. The story telling is pretty.. well i woulden't say terrible but definatly not good. Also i don't agree on all gatcha not having great story right off the bat. HSR had an amazing story right off the bat. Not having a great story right away is like saying you should read a book if its boring in the beginning, thats not how it should be, its a writing problem and should not be used as an excuse.

I love all three games and prefer not to compare any of them to one another. I've been enjoying the hell out of WuWa because of its combat and huge world. But I'm getting increasingly frustrated from the insane consistent lag, (bumping me up to 300ms ping), to audio cut out constantly, the music to disappear, to inputs not registering, to the UI wheel to be buggy and slow, the pixelation problem that they said they fixed which is still present, to the really poor voice acting. I couldn't stand it in English anymore and I had to go to Japanese because it was driving me nuts, to the point I had to skip some dialogue because it was bad. I want WuWa to succeed on its on and to also give Hoyo healthy competition. Competition strives others to be the best and that can only be beneficial and helpful to its player base. I adore the animations, the fighting styles, the bosses, the TD concept, the open world and diverse land. But I need them to step it up. I had a game breaking bug last night when farming for EXP materials where the game didn't freeze, it just longer recognized any inputs after defeating the enemies for the reward. I had to restart the entire game which also takes a long time. Please, let's get it together so I can keep whipping butt with Jiyan and his dragon!

This game is the only gacha where i wasnt impressed by female characters designs at all.... they all are just so basic "pretty girls" with nothing special or memorable about them. Its the only game so far where i picked a male mc to play cuz female was so bland and uninteresting.
Another con is unskippable main quest dialogue and inability to go away from main quest when it forces a party on you - you literally cant teleport anywhere with "trial rovers" and it annoyed me greatly cuz some of us cannot power through endless fights and want to take breaks to explore the world some more
Another issue is the camera/movement sensitivity - its so high its sometimes unbearable to deal with

For me, I loved the game. the gameplay is really fun . The world is nice. The story I find normal because it was kind of boring at the beginning until Scar appeared. I really love this character. I don’t know if the story would have been better, I don’t really care about the story, but I definitely want to know more about Scar as well. This game has a lot of potential to be really good once it's in a better state, but the game has some areas where it desperately needs to improve in order to maintain any kind of presence in its market. Kuro definitely kicked this game out the door a bit too early, so I'm gonna hold off on playing any more of it until Kuro gets the game into a better condition.
That being said, I am excited for what the game can be when It's fixed, the action kind of reminds me of old school platinum games, and the movement is pretty fun. The story and worldbuilding need some work, but they do have potential. Honestly the biggest concern is that Kuro doesn't seem to have much confidence in their product. They completely rewrote the story just a few months before release because they received negative feedback on it and they ended up with a bit of a mess. It's concerning when devs have that little faith in their vision for the game.
The Genshin comparisons are dumb though, especially comparisons between the combat systems, since both games set out to do fundamentally different things with their combat. Genshin aims for you to experiment with the elemental reactions and figure out how to use them in different ways with different team setups. This is somewhat undermined by people basically building characters and teams off of a spreadsheet, but the combat is really fun when you don't do that. Wuthering Waves is going for a more traditional character action game format with precise dodge and parry timings, combos, air mobility, etc.
Genshin can't really implement some of these things (besides dodging) because they'd completely remove the focus from the elemental system at the core of its combat.
"Combat is harder than other games", I love how people have invested 3 years of time and money into games like Genshin impact, bought constellations, even some weapons for characters, farmed like 3+ years of artifacts and got so many characters, and then they come to a new game where they understand jacksht about it and say like it's hard while Genshin is easy asf, when let's be honest, I've been in 1.0, Genshin wasn't that easy at that time, unless you had Venti (but even then)...

Tbh the past week that this game has been out has a lot of people trash talking. For me i feel that all games are amazing the people who develop it is amazing people. People keep complaining about how wuthering waves is so much better than genshin but like just play what you feel is fun. I play genshin, honkai star rail and wuwa and i find them all amazing. Like at times i forget im not play genshin but on wuwa but its so simalar its quite funny actually. So if youre contemplating on whether ehich is better just play all. Just dont develop a spending habbit!

Regarding Pros: You don't need to spend resin to farm Echos(artifacts) even the legendary ones. And overall the system is really somewhat different from Genshin's and yet versatile enough to actually make you to think about what do you want to put on your character at least for Main Echo. That was a huge and pleasant surprise for me actually.
Yeah, you dont need resin for artifacts themselves, but you still need resin for materials to unlock artifact substats, so its basically same as gemshin, even if not worse
