Geno us a very good and honest coach. I think the NCAA tournament will be great this year. I think South Carolina, Stanford, UCONN, Louisville, Baylor, maybe Maryland and maybe North Carolina will be part of the the 8 and 4 in the end. However, anyone can be beat. South Carolina is currently number one. Their starting five is the most talented and athletic of all the teams. The ladies games are just as entertaining as the men's game.
Another body blow delivered just seconds before tipoff!!! The fiery trials seem endless. They're not.
Only hours removed from their first conference loss in nearly ten years, and as a few fair weather and short sighted "fans" forecast doom, I'd like to reiterate a prediction. If this team, particularly Paige, Azzi, Caroline, Christyn & Liv, are healthy by end of February...they will win #12. Health is the key.
Where are you Stormy Weather, Last One Standing, Paul Singer, and Assouan Koffi??? Waiting for your "Umm Umm see wha ha happened was" Geno's own quotes. "It is mind boggling that we can't score in the lane" "We are content to get a jump shot" "We are not the defensive team we have been in past years." Much to my surprise Azzi at times gave tiny glimpses of Maya 2.0 but still way too much camping out on the perimeter in the first 3 qtrs . For the love of gawd get in game!!! Caitlin Clark was shooting from the M with players on her in the Michigan game but you didn't see her camping out on the 3 pt. line. Look at Maya's film or KML's film they were in the game and not standing around. Not even her best friend Paige camps out padding her stat line with 3's.
Being real. Hearing Geno talking about Azzi he is not worry about her she did her thing played well 29 points and still lost . May I ask what is up with this player who don't play at all Deberry who sits there and watch the game why is she there please help me out there .

he's an outdated hc, there's a reason so many players have transferred out of Uconn past few seasons.

@@socalchargers Some players have transferred out, some have transferred in. Most that transfer out, see that there will be limited opportunities to play. Geno has no idea what he is doing, that is why he has gotten the last two #1 national ranked players recruited to UCONN.

didn't see game, but saw the boxscore. the 2 bigs had total of 2 rebounds in 50 minutes played. 1 each, evina a gurard had 6!! don't know why the other bigs didn't play? news conference here didn't cover it here.
The one player wasn't feeling good, I heard.
UCONN lost because they don’t have ONO, which means that they have to adjust again. and the result was they were defeated in rebounding.

Who peed in your cheerios? Geno is an excellent coach…. Who else has won 11 championships in Collegiate ball or professional ball??? No one…. Just Geno. Kids choose to go to UCONN because they will grow as players and as individuals due the the very high expectations the coaching staff maintains!

The BE conference is definitely better than the AAC. Teams are getting better in the conference. I don't care that some UConn players were out and didn't play. And the best players aren't all going to UConn anymore ...AND Geno's getting old. Yup... their golden years have passed. This is the worst uconn team I've ever seen. So happy!! Go Nova!!

that may be somewhat true, the top teams in the conference are still in the conversation for top 25. Comparatively no, but every time a teams plays Uconn they give it their absolute best. And when three quintessential players go out, one before tip off, then its a recipe for a unadjusted defensive performance and a determined team on the other end.

Their conference is trash. Aside from South Florida. And clearly Villanova is on the rise. But yea Uconn plays nobodies every year. Soft schedule.

Mir McLean is now a starter for the U of Virginia and scored 20 pats last time out. We could have used her to replace those unproductive seniors. Why didn’t Geno use amari or Piath to at least clog the lane and help on the boards. They’re just sitting there, use them. Time for Geno to retire. All his work is in the past.

LOL sorry it just a frustration. Of course my favorite NCAA WBB Team is UCONN I don’t know why. But I am always positive that what is happening to them in the end it will be for their own and their fans benefit. Am still hoping they will still get the 12th Crown.
With regards to other teams who wants to defeat them, UCONN is like a tree who had a lot of delicious fruits in the farm. There are other trees there but only UCONN tree has full of delicious fruits compare to other trees, so others are throwing stones at her to get its fruits so that they will have a taste of it. UCONN has to protect itself from this grabb mentality which is part of human nature and part of the nature of sports.
