English Premier League: Liverpool v Arsenal 2-1
Legendary Steven Gerrard's stunning performance against gunners - Спорт
Stevie in his prime is just a joy to watch
yeah, he provided more patients for the NHS than anyone else in Football.
Gutted so many little kids football fans who was born in 2000's only knew him as "Slippy G". Otherwise the football fans that were born at 90 was a big fan of Stevie G. We always admire him as role model a complex midfielder of football
well said brother. Stevie G was one hell of a midfielder
He the real G
My opinion one of the best midfielders of all time top 10. No one like him. Play all over the entire field, his long frame how fast and powerful he was. You couldn't stop him, outrun him, outwork him. He was a one man wrecking crew that could shoot from anywhere at any range. His passing was top notch he had every pass in the book as a weapon.
Yeh but he lost the ball alot, and made some shit passes. And past 2011 he was just bollix
you insane he wasn't as good but look at the shite he had alongside him he was still good
Ebonix Stevie was one of the few players who very very rarely gave the ball away, so the only “Bolix” here is your comment.
Thank god you’re opinion has no value
One of the best CMs if not the best off all time. complete footballer, volley, cross, long/short pass, headers, weak foot literally there's nothing he can't do. Absolute LEGEND
Put him in any position, and he will still be the best player on the field. Captain Fantastic
That assist to Alonso is smooth AF
People say Scholes and Lampard were better than him.. Gerrard we’re surrounded by average players and we can count how many at least quality/world class players ever played with Gerrard through his career with Liverpool due to lack of fun and stupid owners.. we seen when Gerrard was given the players of Torres and Suárez up front..he was unstoppable...imagine prime Gerrard plays with our current squad with mane, salah, firmino, vvd, alisson ,Trent , Robbo ,hendo ,Fabinho etc...these are quality/world class talent..
More of the younger Stevie G...please!!!
im really lucky to have watched Gerrard play and become a legend he is a tank
Gerrard was let off the leash and truly explosive in this game. You could see the partnership of him and Alonso emerging and it was devastating. The weight/vision of the pass for Alonso's goal was incredible. Gerrard was everywhere and Alonso pinged them into with laser like precision.A joy to behold and so many vivid memories.
People saying prime. That's an insult considering he continued this level and more into 2007. The level of this period is a total eclipse to today's trash.
yashioman He played in high level almost through his entire career, but his prime was 2004 'til 2009.
@@augustobolcont289 He was also great in 2013-14. Although he'd lost his pace and his ability to score from range (somewhat) he was far more consistent with his long passing. Although he was different player at that point. His assist to Sturridge against fulham and his Assist to Suarez against sunderland were different class.
If only Klopp had been at the helm earlier. Gerrard would've thrived under his tutelage. I sometimes wish we could build a time machine and bring back 2008-09 gerrard to play for this current side.
John Frogman he’s who lfc are missing right now a powerful and dynamic midfield who can create and score goals
2009 was his prime. Probably the best player in the world
Arsenal were champions and this was their first defeat since becoming champions. It was Liverpool's first win against Arsenal for years and first big game win under Benitez.
Not really we beat them plenty of times before 2004
Fifa Legend then you never watched Pool clearly, Arsenal dominated by all-then
The good old days a joy to watch an see as growing up ❤ S G
Stevie G + Alonso = best midfield duo
Can't really be though. Never won the prem ffs
@Cool Dude jammy bastards tho
great video thanks
Gerrard and Patrick Vieira, two of my favourite midfielders in EPL showing their class in this game
Super steven Gerrard
What a great goal by neil mellor i heard the game that day
HES SO FINE OMLL. 😻 but yeah goat midfielder fr
That is good memorises of our legandery captan
Legend
A box to box midfielder with that pace....hard to find these days
Yes please please more Stevie G!
how bad is that music??
It's "no copyright sound" and there is no other way
Let me Eat cake music is fine
Liverpool and Arsenal where really good back in the days
Music is boss. Nice comp as well, young Stevie!
Neil Mellor, one of the Three Lions' pre-promissing ruinned talents...that never roared.
I miss that Arsenal team so fucking badly...
Good
4:06 🔥🔥🔥🔥
wonder if there ever will be a player n captain representing a club like stevie n totti in the future.
A.D Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Puyol?
My god this Arsenal team is just so fucking good!
song: jim yosef - speed
Goal from mellor
Saya mau tanya, saat itu saya lihat partai ini lewat TV indonesia.
Dan partai itu pula saya terakhir melihat striker muda liverpool nomer 33. Kemana dia??
good song. name?
Aguante el Liverpool!!!
Where did you find the full game?
In internet.
The biggest drawback to.his.game is.that he cant operate at low tempo. He needs to charge forward and english football is like that. In internatjonal level he looks very confused as he cant dictate tempo and keep possession
think later in his career he became came more relaxed as he lost his pace hahah
good point in fairness. he was a lot diffrent to paul scholes who gets plaudits for been a deep lying playmaker but alonso and mascherano were a great foil for him as he became more attacking. imagine him and alonso now in the liverpool team with liverpools defence and 3 players up top
Typical comment from people who don't watch Gerrard often. Much like those who enjoy claiming that Scholes can't tackle, etc etc.
Great player but crap music to accompany
The day Vieira knew...
Mellor goal
Not even top 10 Liverpool players in my book
