Hold on to your papers!
Everybody putting Leeds in the relegation spots because they sold 2 of their best players is lazy. We’ve actually strengthened the squad in selling them, had a good pre season and also probably wont have the injury crisis we did last year which caused us the low finish
I literally cant remember the last time we had a good pre season. I was very impressed this pre season and think we will do really well this time round.
How many of your new signings have played a minute of premier league football though? All looks good on paper but applying that onto the pitch is a different ball game, will be interesting to see what Jesse March tries this season and if he’s the right man for Leeds’ survival
None of your signing have any experience in English football.

I was on the "Chelsea 5th" train because of the progress that ars and spurs did, but i think people forget that the chelsea squad is almost similar if not better than previous years. Leeds have actually improved their squad for this season. Also the only reason they almost went down is because they had 2 injury crises last season to the point where they didn't have 12 healthy senior players for multiple games.
I feel like a massive weight is being put on losing raphina & Phillips compared to what it should be. Raphina was an unknown coming into Leeds & Phillips was once behind the likes of Lewis cook, ronaldo vieira and Alex Mowatt before he made the break through
Yeah aaronson is a baller maybe closer to raphinha level than we thought. Sinisterra will come great and then we have a more balanced team not just 2 superstars carrying it. Roca looks fantastic, maybe might be better than PHILLIPS? Who knows. Adams is the next Kanye I’m telling you. So I’m positive for a 14th place finish. I have no clue why so many think we’re going down. They will prove em wrong.
@@rjdidsyboy They were still huge players for the last few years.. your reasoning doesn't make sense. Raphinha was our only real attacking threat last season and the win rate with and without Philips speaks for itself
@@Hutchyy We weren't just missing Kalvin though in those games we struggled in, no bamford, no consistent centre back partnership. My reasoning doesn't make sense though how?
Raphina was an unknown before coming to Leeds, how can you be praise raphina whilst simultaneously tryna shut down the fans who have faith that he won't be the last great player to play for the club.
And with Kalvin, midfield is where we have had bad problems when it comes to depth and just overall strength. We've replace one starting player in phillips, for two starting level midfielders, kalvin would have been good sure, but one injury to kalvin and we'd have been praying that forshaw manages to stay fit. now we atleast have extra midfield options and the potential for some exciting young prospects to break through and make a name for themselves like kalvin did under bielsa. If phillips managed to break through after never even being considered to be the next big thing, then i have the utmost confidence that more players can do the same
Hi There! Premier League Matchweek 1 PREDICTIONS on our Football Podcast Channel!!

Everyone seems to think Leeds are going down but for some reason I have a good feeling about them even though I’m not a Leeds fan. Sinisterra is a solid replacement for Raphinha and Marsch knows the Red Bull guys extremely well. Leeds is a young, exciting team and their last season was ruined by so many injuries. In my opinion, they’ll have nothing to worry about if they sign a reliable striker before the transfer window closes.
Leeds will probably finish top 8 next season. Just a shame it's in the Championship.
THE 🐐 IS BACK.
Hello Davey boy!!!
Love the vids as always, Spen!
However, I disagree on Leeds. Last season their problem was the way Bielsa played was too one dimensional, and the damage was done by the time Marsch came in. Phillips was also out for nearly half the season, along with a bunch of injuries to their key defenders. I think it was always inevitable to lose Phillips & Raphinha this season, and then they have had to use that money for depth, which they've never had before. I think their signings have been real quality so far, maybe light in one or two spots, but I do think they finish 14th or 15th!
I’m from Bradford, obviously close to Leeds. I personally love leeds and would love them to stay up but I honestly don’t think they’ve brought in the players to replace or even heal the damage done by Kalvin and Raphinha leaving
Just shows any old numpty can make a video on UA-cam doesn’t it, Leeds have spent nearly 100m they are not going down 100%
Luis sinessterra from Feyenoord looks very exciting, full of potential. Tyler adams from Leipzig is almost a direct replacement for Phillips very good holding mid from leipzig. Rasmus kristensen from Salzburg is also a very solid rb. Point is I like their transfers sp far but personally I think they need 1 or 2 more to solidify their position in the league.
@@dennisyilman4418 I mean, you only named half of them. There's also Aarsonsen, Roca (who looked great in preseason), and Gyabi

As a Man Utd fan, we're looking at worse than 6th unless we sign a centre midfielder and another attacker.
Apart from cb the squad is so thin in terms of first team quality in every position.
I disagree with Fulham. Even though I do agree Mitrovic is a toss-up, Mitrovic in last season championship still did crazy numbers even compared to other championship seasons. They also got Kevin Mbabu on defense now and Andreas Pereira in midfield, who I think could do well
Also they got Leno in. Quality GK for only 3 million!

I have a very similar table, think the only big deviations are Wolves (I have higher), Saints (I have closer to the bottom three) and would probably swap Villa and West Ham. However, there are always strange events (mid season WC) that are likely to throw a spanner in the works.
Leeds going down is a pretty poor prediction tbh. They’ve lost two player and have strengthened extremely well with proven european players. Leipzig, Salzburg, Feyenoord are all quality clubs that played champions or Europa league. Plus, they got Roca from Bayern… I don’t think 12th is too far of a shout for them.
12th is far too high im saying they will get 15th

The Wolves , Leeds and villa predictions will probably give you alot of points at the end

Literally the only videos I watch of Spence nowadays are this one and the one at the end of the season reviewing how he did.
If Chelsea sign de Jong and Fofana on top of what they already have I cannot see how arsenal and even spurs compete with that squad, it’ll be too stacked, and let’s not forget how long Chilwell and James were out last season which are so integral to the system.
Downside will be no proper goalscorer but yea still a very strong squad
Chelsea won't sign de jong cry

Let's be honest, this is the prediction video we all wait for.
Gotta love PL predictions with our boy!
What people don’t realise with Leicester is we finished 8th last season with no signings really kicking on and sone of our best players in Fofana, Ndidi, Justin and pereira being out for almost 80% of the league, and Barnes was for a while. And we got 8th, now we’ve got all these players back and finally a strong starting 11 with no European football causing injuries I really don’t see how we couldn’t get 7th-8th

Hey spence, great video!! One thing I do disagree with is Wolves finishing 17th, I don't think they'll finish that low and I think Everton will barely survive relegation just cuz of the loss of Richarlison and I don't think Lampard's a great manager. I think wolves finishing 14th and Everton finishing 17th is more reasonable. Other than that, the list is solid.

Also, I feel arsenal are a Jesus injury away from being in big trouble
Chelsea tend to have bad pre seasons and it never really affects them. Plus when you look at last year they were competing with Liverpool and city until James and Chilwell’s injuries so if they stay fit on top of the signings I still think they’re clearly the 3rd best side.

I see fulham and forest switch as a fulham fan forest did exactly what we did and I don't think lingard will kick on well as he has nothing to gain or prove and I can see him sitting back and taking a fat paycheck. Both him and Henderson have attitude issues and aside from williams I don't see much proven quality. Fulham have bought well so far with Diop, vestegard, Bailey possibly coming in could cause them to be a solid defence and could make craven cottage a fortress if they choose to dig in and survive then kick on in the second half of the season to play a more expansive style of football
Diop the saviour
Lingard wants a place in the world cup squad and Henderson's got a great mentality when he's starting games
@captainthorpe good point but even if those 2 plus neco won't carry forest. Like fulham 18/19 I don't see much quality. Shown by dominant Newcastle today

I agree with the liverpool take I just think the hunger and out and out starting 11 is probably the best in the world, and I’m a Leicester fan lol
Hey future me , hope you'll be alive when we meet next year.. love you .
I'm backing Fulham. Also, Wolves scored the 2nd most goals among the Premier League teams in pre-season. Nottingham Forest I think may have spent too much money, and not wisely. I think Lampard is a fantastic manager and bringing the right players in and making the most out of high potential players. Not cut out for a top 6 team but will do a top job for a team like Everton. Agree with you about Southampton. Could do really well or have a shambolic season. I do think they have some very entertaining, talented players and I hope they can do a job for the team. Leicester top 10 I disagree. Think they will be the surprise team that has a poor season, like Everton in the previous season. 9th-7th, Idk what order but I agree that those 3 teams will be within that bracket. Aston Villa I'm least convinced about though if I had to pick. 6th and 5th, switch them around but I agree they miss out on top 4. Chelsea have severely got a weakened team and Manchester United don't have the team for top 4, the top 4 who I think will make top 4 are too impressive. Honestly think Arsenal and Tottenham will really push for top 2. City and Liverpool top 2, may seem obvious but not as convinced about that this season, not sure who will win the league but for now, I guess Manchester City.
no way you think arsenal will seriously push top 2…. they won’t come close to city and liverpool lmao
@@ThePakisoulja786 Manchester United have done it under Olé, and Arsenal are better than that team. I'm not saying I expect Arsenal to finish above them. I think right now I'd still say Chelsea will get 3rd but by the end of the window I think it'll look inevitable
gerrard is obviously a good manager, invincible with rangers. He didn't have the best results last season but it was a clear improvement on dean smith. it'll be interesting to see how he gets on now that he's had a pre season and enough time with his team to fully get to know them. i think 7th is possible but it might be too hard imo

5) Man City will win the title, while Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs will complete the top 4.
