“It’s right, but not right now.” I love how Damon is letting her know that he loves her, but is willing to be patient and wait for Elena. You can clearly see that she wants to kiss him again, but she’s holding back rn.
bonnie is literally the one person who is always ready to sacrifice everything for others, irrespective of her feelings she is always there when elena needs her, and yet people always tend to focus on the moments where she displays actual human emotions and acts out or does something that goes against the group, why does she have to always listen and agree? she is a witch but she doesn't have the ability to turn off her emotions, all she feels is very real, and i don't understand why people forget that if they were in the position bonnie has been put over and over again, they would probably have the same reactions as her.
Exactly, Bonnie has every right to tell Elena how she feels about taking Jeremy's memory, especially because it effects her too. Its not like Bonnie ran to Jeremy and ratted Elena out.
I think viewers who don’t like Stefan see him off human blood etc. as inauthentic and not really living. It’s true that before he didn’t feel that alive, or went back and forth. But IMO he’s just more reserved than Damon and, unlike Mikael, whose “morality” seems to stem mostly from his pride, I think Stefan’s genuinely comes more from compassion and regret. Which is part of why he swings between extremes. This isn’t a defense of his preposterous behavior in this episode or anything, just relates to the idea that he should try to find a middle ground. I mean Klaus clearly has a problem with empathy and entitlement, which is why he thinks he deserves everything no matter what and secretly fears losing everything. So it’s not so much naïveté as having the emotional maturity of a toddler. He’s more intellectually advanced and to be fair can be patient. But a lot of people are like that in real life too…
I feel so bad for Elena. She has to relive that trauma of the car accident on the wickery bridge where her parents died. She almost died and Stefan knew how traumatic it was for her. This was so messed up of Stefan to do. I want to give Elena a hug so bad, she did not deserve to go through that. I hated Stefan for doing this to her. This is also basically the end of Stelena.
I'll start by saying that Klaus is my favorite character, even though I couldn't stand him at first, but after watching The Originals I couldn't help but love him (so please start TO, which in my opinion is even better than TVD). In any case, when I saw the scene with Caroline for the first time, I didn't like the birthday sentence, but in my opinion it was necessary because that way Caroline could answer him honestly, even though she was afraid of dying. I think that honesty, that strength, in the face of the danger of death, pushed Klaus to be honest in the rest of the speech: for many, becoming vampires is a tragedy, they would have preferred to die, he is offering him this choice also knowing that in doing so he would lose the sheriff's support; at the same time Klaus saw something in Caroline and doesn't want her to die, he is explaining to her how much good and beauty there can be in the world and how, being a vampire, she will be able to experience everything. His is a bit of a speech about never giving up hope, that sooner or later you will find something worthy to live for. I honestly found the dialogue very profound.
@@Ale-qo7zi he didnt heal caroline bc of that, he just wanted to play hero for having power over tyler...thats it he was the one who literally hurt her in the first place...this is not romantic
First, I said deep, not romantic. Second, when are Klaus' plans not played on multiple fronts?!? At the beginning of the episode he wanted to put pressure on Stefan, keep Tyler in check and get the sheriff's support... Klaus is a strategist and to achieve his goal he didn't care about hurting Caroline, especially because he hasn't met her yet, but then he met her and liked her, which is why in that scene he opened up to her. Then if the reason why she gave him the diamond bracelet is to prove he is the alpha male, I never questioned it. I have never denied that he is a toxic person to be in a relationship with, but that doesn't take away the fact that his is a charismatic, charming character and that many of his speeches are extremely beautiful and profound.
Stefan’s only motivation for now is to destroy Klaus. His only real emotion is hateful revenge & he’s prepared to use any tool including Elena to achieve it. It’s kind of similar behaviour to how we first met Damon. He was also seemingly operating on hateful revenge which made him the cold vampire we’ve seen during earlier seasons. Emotions are hard to live with as a vampire they often push down the ones that hurt too much & focus on just one. We see this scenario again later on in the series. P.S. Klaus is an ass hole, he’s always been an ass hole & always will be an ass hole. I have never understood how anyone can view him as redeemable. Nope, he’s an ass hole 😂
Have you ever seen The Originals?!? Sure, Klaus will never be an absolute hero, but I think the show showed a pretty solid redemption arc, with his relapses every now and then, which makes it even more realistic in my opinion. But in the end, you can't deny that his character reaches the highest redemption possible for him.
The only real reason Stefan is so fixated on his revenge on Klaus is because he knows Elena started to like Damon as a man. In his own words, hating Klaus is all he has left and he lost her the moment he left town. I will always think it’s sh-ty that his brother got together with the love of his life and fans just breeze on by with that fact. Especially considering the only reason stefan left town and Elena in the fire place was to get the cure for damons life.
Elena and Stefan are just like Damon, they will do everything even questionable things for their loved ones. You would always be selfish, emotional and a little illogical, in order to save your love. Stefan for Damon, Damon for Elena, Elena for her family till now. Second point, this is the second time Stefan has put Elena's life in danger. Damon would never do that. Even if he thinks logically, he would never take this chance.
Damon would never risk Elena’s life? No but he would feed her blood against her will just like Stefan does here. I know it’s to save her from not existing , it’s just not the correct way to behave.
