Wancho Tribes In Konsa Village | Hidden Gems Of Arunachal | Life At Indo-Myanmar Border | Longding

- Meet the headhunters of Arunachal Pradesh!!
Most of us have seen the photographs and videos of the famous Headhunters of Nagaland. Little did I know we could find them in Arunachal Pradesh too. Meet the Wancho Tribes - An indigenous tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. They are culturally the Nagas and ethnically related to the Konyak Tribes of Nagaland. I was recently invited by Arunachal Tourism to explore the new circuit called TCL (Tirap, Changland and Longding) that, the officials are planning to open for tourists. I got a chance to visit KONSA Village, which is the last village at the Indo-Myanmar border. The border is just one km from this village. You can still find a king and his monarchy in this village. I even got a chance to enter the King's house and witness their way of living, cultural performances and much more.
A huge THANKS to Arunachal Tourism for helping me see this unique side of India.

Arunachal Wancho tribe and Konyak tribe in Nagaland everything is same starting from language, foods, looks, traditional attires, traditional houses etc.
When I heard their dialect it takes me back to those childhood days listening to wancho songs on my PHILIP radio 4pm every evening😢😊. Sometimes feeling sad that how government or the people had divided us (konyak in particular) in different places ie, Nagaland, Arunachal, Assam, Myanmar (generally Nagas).
But they are not under naga umbrella
Naga term is their past
Konsa is my mommy's village
And in this video I saw my grandpa, aunt and a lot of people I know.
And now I'm filling🥹..... cause it's been many years since we met cause our world is very far from that world.
Thanks for visiting my wancho tribe❤❤❤❤❤
Nagas tribe are so diverse..love from poumai naga tribe Manipur
Never been in India. Fascinating culture. My great grandfather is from India. I am a mixed race of English,Scottish and french. Thanks for your beautiful videos of India and her cultures
I hope you enjoy watching all my videos :)
So you are indian @shobavicbindra8275
Love to see @@DesiGirlTraveller
All are konyak but by statehood has demarcated and fragmented the mighty Konyak.
Still konyak living in arunachal,Assam and Myanmar has a feeling of brotherhood and think as one konyak.
My country is full of diversity...so wonderful.. love for these tribal people from the depth of my heart..live long, stay strong, 💪🏻❤️
That is a naga tribe of arunachal.
Thanks for exploring our naga brothers of arunichal
But naga term is their past
Glad to see u sister at my village ❤. Do visite again and one thing sister actually the wancho tribe is migrated from Konyak (Nagaland) which means we the Nagas and Nagas of Arunachal.we need to explore more history through the your channel❤❤love you from Konnu
Thank you 😊
Is it because of Rio again?? 😂
@@The_truth85if konyak, wancho, nocte, phom, tangsa unite it will be bigger then tenyimi 😂
@@worldwideweb9431 I have no idea about that, but now I feel this people couldn't unite because of Rio again. 😂😂😂
Come on man, Wancho is a completely different tribe than Naga🤦♂️ ..Our forefathers have never mentioned a naga term for our people. Please be proud to be a Wancho/Ganthaw🙏 and try not to share false learning.
Thanks for visiting Wancho Tribe also Thank you very much for beautifully said about our Tribe 🙏 ❤ Sincerely request you to visit again our lower Wancho village 🎉
Thank you :)
We are the Nagas....💞💪💞

Glad that Arunachal is getting exposure with the people of the main land India, thanks to the introduction of the airport. India is indeed very diverse country East, West, North and South all have different cultures ,food, tradition and ethics and Arunachal in NE is one of most underrated, unexplored and untouched places. Looking forward to your more adventurous vlog in Arunachal and do visit the famous places like Tawang, Mechuka, Ziro Valley, Dong valley(the first sunrise in India) and explore the beautiful mountains, fresh waterfalls, the nature life and the tribals and indigeous life...Lasting thanks for visiting Arunachal and sharing ur experience. Great. So memorable madam. Your living data had reminded me of those long years duration when I was staying at Konsa village as a school teacher. I appreciate and thank you very much madam for this important record you have kept.
In those days there was no good road, especially an approach road upto the chief's residence. I used to walk from Longding to Konsa village on foot sometimes. But there was govt bus plying on the road upto Pongchau HQ, by which I too used to go. But from there I would walked on foot through short-cut, an undulating hilly terrain for about three hours.
Today you are lucky enough to reach various, even mysterious places by motor car.
Your last sentence made me emotional in which you said,
"Khatarnak ye nahi, hamare presumption hote he."
You rightly said madam. Kehte he na, "aap bhale to jag bhale". Agar hum apne soch badale, to humey kisi ka bhi khof nahi. Sina thokkar kahe ki mai insaan hu. Sabhi mere apne he. Sab thik ho jayega.
Thks once again. God bless you 😊🙏🙏✌️
Thanks for coming to Arunachal and making a such type of beautiful VDO on Nagas of Arunachal Pradesh.

Sorry Bhai, I know logon ko pata nhi rhta hai to log kuchh galat harkat kr dete hai but don't worry ab km ho gya hoga
