@@NEWYORKSELiTiST yeah maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll pull a Dance Gavin Dance and start releasing instrumental versions of their older releases while they’re in between album cycles
@@TheSVERguy Yep me too lmao. I can get most of it except for the solo and I’m not fast enough to get the tapping part in the main riff. He starts the tapping off the beat and it messes me up every time 😂 we’ll get there soon enough my friend

@@S1LVERflyin Yeah I’m still learning it lol. Slowing it down definitely helps but a metronome is the one thing I’m always lacking. I’m determined to learn this whole album though. My 7 string has been tuned in F# since the album released lmao
I say this in every episode and anything with Jesse in it. He is one of the most underrated and influential guitarist of our era (no pun intended). His name is never mentioned, I know he isn't gonna be mentioned among like the best top 3 guitarist but in my book he his. Jesse is my inspiration and I hope he is yours, he really went off the book on their new album and it paid off. Jesse, in my honest opinion, is one of the top 10 best and most influential guitarist. 🤘
The audio is ripped from the Album recording. He's just miming over the song, which is fine. He can play all of his stuff live which is all that matters, but I'm just sayin, the video and the audio are separate.
That's a different take... I know Jesse is a good guitar player, but he can't teleport his hand to the other side of the fretboard, nor change his entire posture in one frame.
I'm trying to learn this song, just got to the solo after like a month of learning the first half. It's not so much hard, as Jesse's technique is perfect. The way he flows through these riffs is what makes it hard. When you learn it though, it's all kind of in the same spot on the neck, just crazy good technique that's tough to recreate.
@@sarcasm4371 This solo of Lunar Halo blows Invent out of the water. Even Unify had a very melodic and creative solo in the outro. Jesse’s guitar playing evolved. Alan’s style is still stuck in that 2010 vibe if you listen to his band The Artificials
This song is so unbelievably beautiful. This is one of the songs I can close my eyes and I'm in tears by the end. Good fucking work boys. Please keep it coming.
What an amazing riff! Just so catchy, modern, fast, articulate, it seems to carry with it some emotional something, iduno, it just gets me when I hear it, every single time! I have attached it to some really depressing time in my life yet the song is a great part of the memory, perhaps it is knowing that it was at least something uplifting and awesome to have and to use to get through the day. Can't say enough about ERRA and the awesome music that they have produced over the last decade, geez, listening to this as i type and my brain is pulled right back into a bunch of memories. Life, am i right?
I love shadow autonomous, eidolon and remnant so much of this album but THIS right here is the Cadillac of the album. Best song, best solo and the best melody of all the songs on this record bar none.
Everyone in this band are exceptional musicians and hardly ever mentioned. I heard some fool say "guitar driven music is dead" Jesse and Erra show him otherwise with every track and every release.
Nice to note that his picking hand changes stances accordingly to the dynamic he's after. This guy has such a natural approach to playing, composing, so good to watch him playing!
The cut back to the wide shot at 3:33 makes me laugh so hard -- Jesse just threw down an all-timer of a solo, and then it just instantly looks like he's filling time in a slow blues band and not chugging through one of the heaviest riffs on the record lmao. I love it
I had no idea who ERRA was until this year. I loved the singles. Then the album came out. It’s honestly the best album I have heard come out in the past few years. It’s an absolute masterpiece. Every track is amazing in its own way. Album of the year and it’s not even close
Brilliant melodies, brutal riffage. Inspiring to the metal community, inspiration is the lifeblood of progression. Some kid is watching Jesse right now and will be influenced by this at a young age, in the future that kid will write epic tunes in 10 years that we all are going to bang our skulls tok... Are you that kid, ir person to continue to inspire and progress the craft? We are metal. Now I'm going to play my guitar because I'm inspired as well, amazing tune dude.
Jesse is such a boss. To have such talent to be able to sing beautifully, play bass, guitar, produce material all whilst looking like he's thinking what to have for dinner.
So I saw ERRA live a long time ago when they played for ABR and I get to see them again this weekend. Needless to say I'm thankful for ABR for introducing me to this legendary band.
When I listen to ERRA, so does everyone within a hundred yards of me
Loud and proud 😤
