    Game Description:
Portal: Revolution is a fan-made mod for Portal 2 which plays before the events of Portal 2 in the dead and decaying Aperture facility.
    MECHANICS
    Over 40 new puzzles
The campaign contains 40 brand new puzzles making use of new test elements and presents existing mechanics in a new way not seen in Portal 2.
    Resurrected "Pneumatic Diversity Vent" element
    New laser cube variant
Over 15 puzzles using only the blue Portal-Gun
    Gel Cleansing Field
    Difficulty
Portal: Revolutions puzzle difficulty starts where Portal 2 stops, but fear not. All new mechanics and advanced portal tricks are taught to you. We have ensured through rigorous playtesting that every player can solve the puzzles. Although very few chambers require portals to be fired mid-air, no puzzles require advanced tricky movement.
Depending on your experience with Portal 2 mechanics, you can expect about 5 to 7 hours of playtime.
    STORY
Set inbetween Portal and Portal 2, Portal: Revolution tells a brand new story using new characters. You play as a test subject who is awoken by a personality sphere called Stirling and join his mission to find a powerful device capable of restoring Aperture to its former glory.
    ENGINE
Portal: Revolution uses a modified version of Portal 2: Community Edition's engine, which is a custom version of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Source Engine branch using licensed source code provided by Valve Software.
This allowed us to introduce many mechanics and improvements to the engine to create an experience which would be impossible in Portal 2.

Steam recommended this mod to me a few days ago so I played it before you even uploaded the video so I don’t have to go anywhere! I can just watch!

When he was playing "Rethink" I always stopped and played through levels first and then would compare how we both did.
This one I'll just watch and enjoy and be happy he's playing another puzzle game.

Always love your playthroughs, but this video in particular stands out-bc YOU were so clearly enjoying playing, we can just hear it in your voice when you get excited! It made me smile, to hear calm, methodical Keith woohooing like a little kid 😊

Not all portal surfaces are made of moon rock. Cave just said that it's one of the best portal conductors. It wouldn't add up seeing as they developed prototypes for the portal device before they even had astronauts testing for them. And proceeded to kill those astronauts.

Not sure it would work as a series, but could be neat to watch you make Portal puzzles. Maybe after you have a few you could run a friend through them to test em? If you had a dedicated cohost, you both could make puzzles for the other. Probably more a "Let’s Try" than a series from the time it takes to make the maps.

After Password, I’m sure Toaster would relish the joy of such torture in comparison. 😜

Third game? This is Valve, Valve can't count to 3.

This mod is going to be REALLY good, though its a bit short. After you finish this mod, you should totally play the entropy zero series if you already played trough half life. Its a series of half life 2 mods where you play as a combine soldier, and the second one has something big to do with the portal series. And i also found your channel from your only video on men of war, and it wasnt really a good one. I think you should have started from the original men of war game and from the "Road to victory" campaign. The first mission is a proper tutorial.

Have you played this portal mod? I don't understand why you're talking about first person shooters...

@@buttonasas Im just recommending him a couple source mods. Half life and portal are in the same universe and the second part of entropy zero is tightly connected to aperture. And yes, ive played the mod and its really good.

There is believed to be an actual half-life 3 coming out in the near future from the current employees at valve. So, just maybe a Portal 3 won't be too far off from that. :)

Sad that deadlock is dead even before it's release. I think they would at least get some players if they kept it in the half life universe from the hl2 fanboys.

I'm tempted to say that the puzzles in this mod are actually not especially well-designed; you're struggling in the same places I did, for the same reasons and with the same feelings. I never ended up feeling good or smart about the solutions; it was always just feeling like a complete dumbass for not seeing it immediately.
