- Los Angeles Police Museum
An actual Police Station built in 1925 and it operated until 1983. The building now houses the Los Angeles Police museum which includes photographs, uniforms, badges, squad cars, paddy wagons, and bullet riddled vehicles. The museum chronicles many of the high profile cases that have taken place in Los Angeles. You can visit the original jail cells within the police station. There is also a nice display of the Television series that have been created in Los Angeles to depict the LA Police department.
As part of the television section there are displays on the series Adam 12 which stared Martin Milner and Kent McCord. There is also a display for the series Dragnet staring Jack Web.
The Police Museum is located at 6045 York Blvd. in Los Angles (Highland Park) California
Hours are Wednesday- Saturday 10:30am- 3:30pm

Great stop, guy. How cool they had a section for Adam 12 and Dragnet. Boy, the jail looks like a resort compared to the Ohio Reformatory (Shawshank Prison movie location)
This one was really one to see. We never knew it was there until we had talked to someone one day about our channel. They said you have to check this out. We went and woe what a good one to see. Sure would like to see that one at the Ohio Reformatory. Thanks so much for watching.
@@CRJourney20 We got a Quik clip up from the fall trip. It will be awhile before the full video comes out. A very dark part of Ohio history. It was shutdown in 1990 for the inhumane conditions there.
