Dear sir, your videos are a school on its own. I hope you have many students learning your techniques in music analysis. It is amazing how you add these feelings and understandings of each piece. Thank you 🙏 your works are really appreciated.
I love your recent focus on Scandinavian composers. The style almost reminds me of the Celtic folk music I grew up hearing from my grandparents, especially the open fifths and March rhythms. Love it ❤️
Yeah, there is a similarity with the english music, I suppose. Unfortunately this was the last of the Scandinavian batch for now. (But I hope you haven't missed the series on Frösö flowers? ua-cam.com/play/PLwCGt-h2CNnNK7HAY8rvbCbjNZil0CBS1.html)
I often wonder what made of your upright piano, it has such deep, rich and brilliant tone, now I see it as Ronisch! Thank you for inviting us to this wedding party, enjoy it very much!!
Excellent piece this one! I learnt it many years ago and I can still play it.. lol it’s a bit rusty in a few spots. Thanks for sharing your expertise in this lovely work. You inspire me to get back to it!! With guisto!
@@SonataSecrets I love that G minor Ballade, how it has a peaceful, almost melancholic Nocturne mood alternating with a dramatic, Beethovenian mood in Reversed Recapitulation Sonata Form.
Sir, your performance and analysis is such that I am learning about different pieces every week. I have a small request. Did you ever think of making a video where you speak in Swedish? I would love to see you do it! Regards from India.
That's the point! :) Well, I chose English because it could spread much wider than if I talk in Swedish. But I did make one test pilot episode in Swedish that I have shared with my Patreons last year, but you can see it too now since you asked. (and anyelse else reading this...) It has English subtitles. ua-cam.com/video/tuY7AanYnj8/v-deo.html
This piece also has a big trap for listeners in 31st bar where you may think that the whole piece after that bar is out of tempo but it is actually in tempo, I am not a grieg lover but this music is the true definition of music
I think Richard Rogers had this in mind when he wrote the March Of The Royal Children for the King And I. ua-cam.com/video/Z9L_lilJKQQ/v-deo.html What do you think?
Brilliant analysis, and playing! This channel is a treasure. Truly a gem. Thank you for all the work you do to produce such great content.

I always enjoy your videos. They are very helpful. Can you please analyse Beethoven Tempest sonata?
Maybe at some point in the future if I return to Beethoven (did two other sonatas last spring)
You know it‘s Grieg when it sounds like codfish
So that's you pronounce Troldhaugen!
