*This is exactly what I needed for trimming the edge of oak boards **MyBest.Tools** I also used the disk to round edges while building an oak - walnut cabinet.*
as great as the revolution is, the 84 engineering grinders blow it out the water. I've used both and the gen 4 was my first 2x72 but 84 is the upgrade for me
@@dragonwing4ever It looks really nice, what does it do that the revolution can't. I'm really new to all of this and looked at several reviews and websites. I ended up going with the revolution, just got it finished up yesterday and painted. I haven't got it wired up yet. I've always wanted to get into knife making just as a hobby.
@@libertyordeath1287 tooling wise it has a great range available to it and its all easy to swap out and use, i found its more powerful and gives a cleaner grind then the revolution did. you have a great grinder thou in the revolution so don't be discouraged it mostly comes down to personal preference, but myself and almost every aussie knifemaker will swear by 84 grinders as the best in the world bar none
William Wayman there are going to be more batches. But all in all it’s not a cheap tool. I’m pulling these numbers out of my ass, but I’m will to guess the 2x42 is going to be in the ball park of $700-$1.5 the kit 2x72 in the ball park of 1.5k-2k and this one well over 2k or 3k. But once again those numbers are a complete guess.
Went to purchase and already sold out. Purchased all the accessories though first because the site said they were in stock. Guess they sold out in the 3 mins it took me to select options. Needless to say...I’m waiting as patiently as possibly.
