    You did well!

thanks, this is much needed for all people to learn 3d design in an afternoon

This is AWESOMEEE, but do you know how I would turn this into a paper model template for printing and assembling?

I've never used a plugin for this purpose, but I know it exists.
Search for "Sketchup UNFOLD tool", right here on UA-cam.
      See some examples at
      ua-cam.com/video/0ZFOteUXfAA/v-deo.html
Just be careful to reduce, as much as possible, the number of faces that "curviloft" usually generates.
On the View menu, click (toggle) Hidden Geometry to show the edges.
With the Eraser tool, hold down Shift+Ctrl while clicking hidden edges to make them visible.

Thanks for video ! Could you explane how the nose cone was built, please ? From 5.40 . What tools and method used ?

At 5:38, I divide the cone profile into 2 parts, centered on this axis I made a circle. Having selected the circumference, I use the "follow me" tool at the top "half" of the cone profile.

@@niltondc , thanks ! Sure ! I was confused with a square inside the path round. Is it for a round at the cone top?

@@dront9910 The axis around which I create the cone is the green axis. So I need my reference circle to be on the red-blue plane. I draw the rectangle on the red-blue axes to ensure that the circle has a center on the green axis and is on the red-blue plane.

You create amazing models, that's very inspring! If I may ask, do you sometimes face strange shading of surface when cutting windows on
fuelsage when working in sketchup? With shadows off, there seem to be some shades, or for example close corners of geometry are not smooth
anymore. I try to do make a model a Caravelle but this drives me crazy when I see strange things around almost every window and no matter what I do with te geometry something still appears.

I don't know if I understand your question. In the shadows window, disable the "use the sun for shadows" function. If that's not the issue, try showing me where it happens in one of my videos or someone else's where the problem occurs. Thanks.

@@niltondc It's actually hard to spot something like that on your models. I tried to find something like that in your videos and so far I only saw simmilar shading in "Building a Boeing 747 Jumbo" at 2:05. There's something like bright triangle on bottom left side of the doors and darker line on the right side on tail. With "use the sun for shadows" disabled it's not visible, however appears in render and I was wondering if you manage to avoid such problems when modeling. Anyway, thank you for the reply

@@maydaemon1130 If you're referring to that clear, triangular-shaped stain next to the door, I must say that this defect is typical of Sketchup. When you intersect curved faces, distortion occurs. If the distortion is too evident, you can correct it by changing the view to hidden geometry, manually redoing the triangles involved.

I don't understand the purpose of this video, are you demonstrating to viewers how good you are with sketchup doing this sort of thing or is it some quasi tutorial, because if it's the later, respectfully it's completely useless for one thing, no verbal commentary and also the steps move way too fast to get any kind of idea on how to perform the same thing myself. I searched for how to 3d print rc aircraft nose and this was one of the results and there are several like this where they zip through it at 'their comfortable pace' , not saying a single word and you're more or less guessing what's going on. I do understand that, as a novice CAD user , there are significant learning curves before one can progress to this level, but again with verbal commentary explaining what you would need to have mastered beforehand when contemplating this kind of project will be far more helpful than just trying to watch you do it

The purpose of this video was to show the use of the Curviloft tool to model complex surfaces. If you are new to Sketchup, this video is not for you.
