Thursday Devotion - “I love you” (LHM)

The word of the Lord spoken through His prophet Isaiah (chapter 43) is a personal, intimate, and clear "I LOVE YOU" to a people who are about to be exiled from their homes. It is a precious reminder of His presence and love, even when they may not feel it. That same word of the Lord is spoken to us as well. Whatever you are experiencing in your life, know that you are not alone, but that you are loved by God and treasured by the One Who created you, Who formed you, Who redeemed you with His blood. You are loved. Allow that love to flow through you, praying for those whose lives are devastated by fires or ice and snow, but more than that, reach out to someone who is isolated or whom you have had conflict, and tell them that "I love you". Be a conduit of God's love in a personal, reconciling, and present way to another who is hurting and feeling lost.
