Cried my eyes out watching Abbie watching the crowd cheer her name! Then when she asked for the bathroom to her friend right away idk I’m a moosh right now!!!
Camp I Am Special looks amazing. I’d love to be involved with a camp like that someday. I also always LOVE hearing that teenagers are watching and that’ll help to shape the next generation. A part of why doing what you do on a cool platform like UA-cam is so great
How fabulous that Abbie is happy to stay and let you leave. That must be a comfort for you, no stress or guilt about taking some time for yourselves. I hope you had a great vacation.. all of you
My daughter doesn't have autism but does show signs of the spectrum, but after being tested they said she isn't on the spectrum. She does have severe anxiety disorder and PTSD along with learning disabilities. We went a few months of her not sleeping. We invested in a weighted blanket and it changed our lives. She sleeps almost all night now. It really was a life saver for her. She is 16 and still learning coping skills for her anxiety, every day is a challenge. Thank you for sharing your family with us. I love your family!
I am fun have today, but I think the best way to get to see the new York city, I am not sure if this tag is the best of the other hand, the only thing that you are looking for a few weeks ago by the time of the other hand. So glad to see people doing great things like this! I LOVE swings too!! They are really calming. I once fell asleep in one because I enjoyed it so much!
I’m 16 and have been watching your channel for a little less than a year. I don’t plan in pursuing a career directly related to autism but I would like to go into the medical field channels such as yours, sbsk, the landing crew, autism warrior mamma and many documentaries have provided really great information for everyday life and you never know what I will come across while in the medical field so a lot of your information will probably help in cases. Thank for everything❤️
Oh my!! Talk about hitting in the feels-I cried when Abbie arrived and they were cheering her on!! They know how to make the camper and family feel special! I wish that I had had a disability friendly camp that I could have gone to as a kid that accommodated my needs (I’ve been disabled/chronically ill since 8)-LOOKS amazing and AWESOME!
I'm 21 years old and literally came across your videos yesterday and I'm already completely addicted. I feel like I'm part of the fam!! And Abbie is such a fun outgoing girl I need to meet you guys!!

Im 20, and i just found your channel, I've seen you on my feed a handful of times but finally clicked on a video of her younger years and I havent stopped watching, you guys are so incredible, patient, and kind. Your daughter is super lucky to have such compassionate parents and I can only hope that one day I can be even half the parent one of you guys are. You're seriously amazing
I love watching your vlogs and its SO educating. I commented on a vlog several months ago, that i applied for a job, working with severe autism kids in Denmark. I got the job and i love it. I wrote in my applience that i got a lot of inspiration from you, and thats one of the reasons i got the job, so thanks.
Love the ladies for doing the weighted blankets!!! So awesome!! I’m a momma to two special needs kiddos and taught myself to sew for them. I just started making weighted blankets for kiddos and it’s a labor of love for sure. 🥰 Started watching your channel a week ago and going back to vlog 1 to see from the beginning.
I hope Abbie is having a great time at camp! I love that there are camps out there like Camp I am Special, so special needs children like Abbie can enjoy going off to summer camp the rest of us neurotypical people can and did as kids. I loved camp as a kid, not only was it a break from my family, it was a break from City Life. Have a great time on your vacation!
Enjoy your vacation. Thank you for all your blogs has help me to be more comfortable to have my son involved in activities.. After trying 3 years for him to do swimming it finally happened and I am so happy. Watching you guys is been true support. Love Abbie so much and her progress she has made you been my little inspiration.
Isaiah, if you do it, I highly suggest it. Camps like that is so much fun! Also, we were able to wear Chacos sandles that have a strap closed band in case there was a kiddo who loved running and we would run with them to keep up then redirect to say arts and crafts or nature. I worked at one here in Texas called CAMP Camp for a summer and it was one of the best summers ever.
This is the first vlog I've seen of yours. I am a single mom of two boys one with autism! I'm excited to go back and binge watch! What an awesome camp and a great family! Hope you had a great vacation! 😉
Enjoy your vacation guys. Glad to be a part of the Maass Squad! Have fun on your time off, maybe catch up on some watching while you're not posting. Come back when you feel like it - you know we'll still be around!
i know this is an old video so y’all probably won’t see this but i started watching last year when i was 18 and i’m 19 now and still watching i love abbie and your whole family. Keep it going guys y’all are amazing

I’m 18 and my boyfriends younger brother is autistic, I found your Chanel soon after meeting his brother and I became addicted with watching and learning more so I could have a better understanding with how to interact with him and then I fell in love with your family! Love you guys and I’m so grateful for the awareness and love you are spreading ❤️❤️
So glad you all are getting the vacation you so deserve! Abbie looks so happy and I love the cabin. Hope you have a great time! Enjoy your break and thank you so much for all of your hard work!!!
I just want to thank you for your videos. I’m 17 and I knew a little bit about Autism because I have a friend with mild autism but I never really understood it. I’ve binged watched your channel for a while now and I’ve definitely learnt a lot so thank you for helping me out.
18 year old here who loves your channel! You’ve actually inspired me and I’ve decided to become an ABA Therapist as well. 💙 Thank you Maass family for being such inspirations!
I’m 19 and I love your channel! your channel has become a resource for me to learn about autism and what the reality of it and I learned things that I had not clue about before! Thank you for vlogging and educating a new generation about autism ❤️
I just found you guys because is SBSK and I love your videos! I’m going to be spending a ton of time binging videos 😂 thank you so much for sharing this adventure!
Looking at this camp makes me wish I had a camp like this in my area so I could help out and be a camp counselor. I love helping young boys and girls who have autism because they are just they same as any teenager or pre teen but they need a little more guidance. If anything sometimes these boys and girls can show more love and compassion. I love watching your vlogs! (Btw I'm 16 and super jealous we don't have a camp like this where I live)
This camp and these girls are fantastic! Have to research it more. What an amazing week for Abbie! Hope you guys have a wonderful vacation. Look forward to hearing/seeing all about this in a bit!
Yay for teenagers (like myself!) I love watching you guys and I worked at a special needs camp for a while similar to camp I Am Special! It makes me upset to see younger teens/adults like me act ignorant towards disabilities such as autism and I'm glad to see so many staff members at the camp educating themselves. Plus its not hard since your channel is amazing, keep doing awesome work and hope Abbie has a lovely week!
You guys are so amazing!! As a 17 year old, before I saw your channel I was completely unaware of the many aspects of living with autism. Since I’ve started watching I’ve RAVED to everyone around me about your channel and how not only are you guys so absolutely fun to watch, but how educational your videos are and how much I’ve learned just from watching. You guys are so kind, and your videos are so valuable and important. Keep up the fantastic work!!
I started watching y’all after my bio class did research on autism. Has sparked something in me to make a change and go into the field of helping people with autism. Y’all are awesome
Just like you said in the video, I can not stop watching your videos, also. I am a teacher but started my career as an assistant working with special education students and I have a special place in my heart for one of my 4th grade students with autism. It’s just amazing to see their growth and really connect with them. You are an amazing family and I have nothing but respect for you. Thank you for educating the world about Autism.
I’m a teenager and I watch your videos everyday! I’m studying to be an elementary school teacher and watching your videos are very informative and helpful to me. Keep up the great work! You guys are an amazing family
I fell in love with this vlog 4 months ago and CANNOT get enough. Great job family. My step son is autistic and when he was younger the weighted blankets were a life saver!!
ok sO something very unexpected just happened to me. As you guys were pulling in and they started chanting her name I just started SOBBING. Not even joking literally ugly cry SOB. I don’t know I just felt the love and know that it was such a special moment for her. And you as her family! Wow that caught me off guard. I’m wiping away the tears and pressing play but just wanted to share my little moment. Such an amazing family! ❤️
I think a lot of teens watch your videos y’all are so amazing it’s hard not to watch. I don’t know a lot about autism but your entire family dynamic is so fun I love y’all❤️
You guys truly impact the new generation you show a different side of life and we can’t get enough, I would love to be apart of the camp and be a mentor/helper!!! I took a really big interest in occupational therapy after I started watching the vlogs, knew absolutely nothing about it untill you guys came around, thank you so much love you guys!
First time commenting but long time watcher of your family's vlog, I definitely had to hold back the tears as everyone was chanting for Miss.Abby. As an educator and family member of young adults and children with various needs it warms my heart to see people go out of their way to make sure every individual has the opportunity to feel special and celebrated.
This camp is so cool! I’m 16 and am so so interested in working with kids like Abbie in the future. Your videos have taught me so much about the endless possibilities!!
Hey guys I’m 13 years old . I absolutely love this channel. 1. I would just like to say that your parenting is absolutely amazing ! The things you do for abi is SO awesome . You guys should be proud . 2. Every single time I click on your videos (which is very often) I lean about autism and different ways that others who have trouble talking , communicate!
I'm a teen viewer and it's your attitude that got me stuck with these vlogs. I don't know anyone with autism but I just really enjoy these vlogs
Thank you so much for watching.

Also that cabin in the woods is hilarious! Nice job:)
