    All Varus changes for Patch 14.13:
    Base AD: 60 -> 57
    AS growth: 4% -> 3.5%
    W+Q cast lockout: 0.25s -> 0.85s
    W on-hit damage: 7-31 -> 7-35
    W cooldown refund: 12% -> 13%
    W+Q missing HP damage: 6/8/10/12/14 at level 1/4/7/10/13 -> at W rank 1/2/3/4/5
    P minion reward: 10/15/20% + (20%AS Attack Speed) -> 10% Attack Speed + (10%AS Attack Damage) + (10%AS Ability Power)
    P champion reward: 40% + (40%AS Attack Speed) -> 4% Attack Speed + (15%AS Attack Damage) + (15%AS Ability Power)

      which is gonna happen for sure now that they removed both the main assets that made on hit varus playable. Like LT was unbalanceable, but varus needed it and he needed his passive to work well.
      The funniest part of it is, "lethality build is gonna be weaker now that varus has access to more AD". I mean riot employees are either toddlers or functionally illiterate if they believe that this tence makes any sense

      ​@@enderforces7013 The bonus AD is pretty much ebtirely tied to bouns ATK speed, which Lethality Varus doesn't build. I don't see a way in which Lethality Varus will get that much stronger in any way, while On Hit was clearly buffed.

      me going 2-3 items onhit and then going tank because its best build for champion that have good base dmg and %hp dmg that is working great with BOTRK, cutdown(a bit broken for adcs and other champions that want to dominate on lane a bit) and kraken/nashor both great to execute but i think nashor is a bit better overall but kraken is better for pushing lanes

      @@enderforces7013 1. Old passiv was not good for on-hit Varus. You bought so much AS that you reached the AS cap without your passiv, so since lethal tempo is gone, you have functionally no passiv past item two. And the new ones scales very aggressively with AS so you get a lot of AD and AP with on-hit Varus that makes your autos hurt a lot more.
      2. For lethality there were other nerfs to the AD scalings of Q and E as it was obvious changing the passiv lethality Varus barely used wouldn't do much. This was also know for weeks by now. And new passiv gives barely any power to lethality Varus as he buys no AS and thus gets very little AD or AP from the passiv.
      3. Assuming Riot employees are illiterates and toddlers (practically all toddlers are illiterate so no clue why you thought it important to mention both) their reasoning on this one still seems more sensible than yours.

      @@sirisirih most on hit effects are flat and this change will never bring on hit to where it was before. While lethality is getting a slight buff instead. That's not even close to enough to bring on hit back.

      E technically indirectly boosts your DPS by slowing the opponent and letting you get in more AAs. It does not need to do any additional damage beyond providing a slow, healing reduction, and passive stacks. It already provides a lot of utility, does not also have to damage.

      @@enderforces7013 It's a good idea until it's actually implemented. The reason why Varus Q is somewhat balanced despite it's insane damage while fully charged is because of it's long wind up. If this change was made not only would it kill Lethality and AP builds entirely it would also need to have it's damage overall nerfed meaning Varus is not FORCED to fully charge Q in order to even do damage with it.

    Hey Vandirill, I had in a few arena games a weird bug where the revive circle did not work. I think it has something to do with Mundo E throwing people away when he executes, because that was the only moment when it happened. Can you maybe check it out?

    I think it's impossible for Riot to balance Riot wanting on-hit, AD and AP builds to be viable. We are going to see Varus changing every now and then in different build directions; it will never stop...

    my favorite thing about varus' design is how he works well with either lethality, ap, ad crit and on-hit, but those changes are really pushing him into being strictly on-hit

      The issue they are targeting is that on-hit varus is subpar and lethality gets a good amount of attack speed for free and is the better performing build in very high levels of play. AP will probably still be fine because it rushes an attack speed item anyway and fills a decently unique role. W max also gets buffed which ap profits from

    11 seconds of buffed AD, AP, and attack speed at lvl 18 is absurd hahaha. Jinx does get a lot of movespeed so that's why hers is much shorter, but still. That attack speed buff will last an entire fight even once he's level 12

      the should made PTA convert excess atkspeed over the cap to bonus increased damage dealt(up to a max ofcourse).
      In short, it's basically a Jhin passive but only activates when you reach the cap.

    the AS cap removal needs to be more than just 2.7 instead of 2.5.
    imo it should even be removed for all champs, there is no reason to have it when AH does not have a cap
    the main reason on hit is bad right now is because it's so easy to cap

      About the AH, True but you get less as you gain more, the math was X / (X + 100), multiply by 100.
      example, 300 AH / (300 AH + 100) = Y (this case 0.75)
      Y x 100 = 75% cooldown reduction.
      Say you have 500 AH
      500 AH / (500 AH + 100) = Y (this case 0.83)
      Y x 100 = 83.33% cooldown reduction
      Even tho there is 200 AH difference, the added percentage benefit was only 8.3%
      I think armor also uses a similar calculation.
      I think it's right to just remove cap and just add a new calculation to keep it in check, they can even be harsher with the calculation to not so easily attack fast.

      They tried this already with Kog Maw and he became pick/ban overnight. He gets a stupid amount of damage from his kit already that just having too much AS makes him broken. Twitch/Vayne/Varus/Kayle (ESPECIALLY KAYLE), would all have the same problems.

      @@MangaGamified AH works exactly the same as AS does...
      AH is basically AS for spells.
      100% AS = you attack twice as fast, 200% you attack 3 times as fast
      100AH = you cast twice as often (50% cdr), 200 AH you cast 3 times as often (=66% cdr) etc
      so no reason to cap AS and not AH (and yes there is a cap at 500 but you won't ever see it in game exept in arena)

      sure, champs who want to build enough attack speed to go over 2.5 would benefit from it, but it wouldnt be that broken and there is always the option to nerf them a bit

    Forcing on-hit Varus ESPECIALLY while nerfing his lane is such a stupid decision.
    It turns a unique poke option in the class into yet another auto attacking DPS champion that will live and die by numbers since there is very little reason to play on-hit Varus over say Kogmaw or Jinx if his damage is lower.

    They deleted lethal tempo, ruined the whole class. they are dumbing down the mechanics to make people who have bad mechanics happy, arcane season 2 is coming out too so they will get a lot of new players
    Lethal tempo uncapping attack speed made on hit adcs feel rewarding if you knew how to kite
    now the most unskilled ap champions dominating bot lane

    Please pay attention to fizz, he is too weak. In the current game environment, fizz is struggling.     Cool, they ruined everything that wouldve made him cool and a lethality skillshot based poke champ. And made another disgusting right clicker. So glad all the skilless on hit varus players get a win because they cried and sobbed like babies over a change that wouldve been much more defining for the champ and made much more sense for the champ.

      A "cool skillshot" champion should never have access to such a generous cc and w stacking source. And also lethality varus has been dominating for 2.5 years now let it go elsewhere

      @duyvukhanh4525 he has borderline no cc, he has a single Morgana root on an ultimate ability. If that is the problem you suck at the game and your opinion is invalid. I agree that he shouldn't have W stacking, which is why the removal of attack speed was a good thing, and the changes were a good thing, cause it pushed him back to single rotation combos rather than spamming autos and abilities to cleanse stacks. Lethality varus is frankly just how the champion should be made. Not everything should change with time. Certain champs have specific builds that they run, and off meta stuff that you can run but never should be the focus. On hit varus is for actual cretins that will now just do infinite damage with auto attacks, have 0cds, and will be perma spamming Blight stacks for %Max hp damage. It's skilless.

      On-hit Varus has always been a thing, why are you acting like its something new? Lethality Varus was probably the most braindead way of playing him. Just another Mage type champ that throws abilities form a screen away. Atleast on-hit players had balls and skill to fight in your face while spacing you and dodging abilities. I dont play Varus but I respect onhit players. They are Gigachads.

      @Okami400 auto attacking champs and skill don't belong in the same conversation. On hit is for virgins and ad Mage champs are something the game frankly needs. We have what, ezreal only? Half of Jayce? Ad Mage champs are 100% viable and not something to just be scoffed off. If you wanna use that logic, on hit varus is just another auto attacking champ. Aka almost every single adc, half the bruisers and fighters, etc. Your logic makes 0 sense. And just because something has always been doesn't mean it should be or was there original intention. On hit neeko isn't the intention, ap Jax isn't the intention, ap irelia isn't the intention, you wouldn't be arguing for the Viability of any of those things beyond just off meta troll fun because it just doesn't fit the champ. We already have a rapid fire Archer, ashe. Varus is the calculated skill rotation based Archer based on skillshots and actual skill. And yet here Riot is pandering to idiot adc players and giving them more cringe auto attacking power as if that's what the game needs at all.

    did you ever feel something off with varus model/animation.
    in fact with a few adcs we can feel like their animations are a bit off.
    Well it is because sometime in the past they released a patch reducing attack range of few adc to balance the game
    Well it might have balanced the game but sadly some the adcs auto/animation just feel off because of it.
    i wish riot would revert those changes man because it just feels a bit off to play these champions especially varus.
