    Here are 4 different ways to cut out circles from felt that give you really even looking circles.
    Try them out and let me know which way you like best. Actually these methods work for any shape!!!
    I like method number 4 because those circles are perfect and so small...and I can get my husband to do them for me :)

    A simple, clear excellent tutorial. You explain and show what you are doing very well. Where did you get the hollow punch?

      Hi Toni, Thanks for your lovely comment. I bought my hollow punch at an auto (car) store. You can also get them at the hardware store. I ABSOLUTELY love them!!!

    Thank you for this tutorial. I have tried with a hollow punch but it won't cut through the felt, can I sharpen the punch?

    • @SewaSoftie
      @SewaSoftie  Рік тому +1

      Hi! I don't think hollow punches can be sharpened. If its a new punch and its not working try giving it a few more wacks with the hammer. I put my felt on hard wood and then wack it. If the circle is only half being cut out it means you need to wack harder! Hope this helps :)

    I'm interested in cutting heart shapes from felt with my granddaughters CRICKET machine. I also want to cut a circle shape in the center, and insert family photos behind the heart........do you have any information on how to cut a circle from a pre cut shape of felt using the CRICKET?

      Hi Sue, I don't know a lot about the cricut machine. But they do have a facebook page where you can ask questions. See how that goes! Trixi

    Hmmm... I finally followed Ann's advice and took Woodglut. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.
