Conventional weapons was made before this album they didn't like how it sounded so they rewrote it completely ending up with danger days. After Danger days came out, they released conventional weapons songs as singles.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I love any assistance you can give me.
I see it as a diss to almost every other pop punk band. Green Day is the only other one I can think of that hasn't sang a super-positive song about California (and they have sang songs about California, just about more specific parts of California and not a super-positive one.)
this song feels like sitting on the roof of your house the night before you move away for the first time. You look out over the place you grew up as the sun sets and day turns to night and you accept the fact that you'll never again be who you used to be.
IKR? Damn Apple’s exclusivity with Bonus Tracks on iTunes… because of that many great songs only are added to streaming services other than Apple Music much later, if at all. For instance, Foster The People’s Broken Jaw is an incredible song (& one that I consider a main track on the album Torches & not a bonus track cause it’s that good), but since the band had an exclusivity deal with Apple for Torches’ iTunes release back in the day, it (and other Torches era bonus/non-album tracks) were only added recently with the 10th anniversary deluxe release Torches X.
My Chemical Romance has been that band that I grew up with. As I changed and grew they seemed to also. I will always love them. They are that band that musically brings me back to who I am when I lose myself. They have been there for me when I was lost, when I was in love, when I was heart broken, and when I discovered who I am. I love this band.

By the city, I mean the people within it. It is pretty vague though and I'm not sure on what level they'd be pitying. But, that's just my interpretation.
Yes, a bit:) I like hesitant alien a lot but I think you can't rly compare it to MCR, they're just two different kinds of music. And Frank and the Cellabrations is totally different (Frank's my fav member but I don't like it like I like hesitant alien)
Yeah, Danger Days is angry in a happy kinda way, thats why I like it so much X:D I mean, in what other album do you hear people singing about shooting things and blowing things up (and hating California LOL) and sounding so happy XD

Sadly I didn't grew up with MCR I didn't find them until 3rd year of. Uni, but it's been a wild ride for sure! I've fallen in love with this band and every time I discovered a new album of theirs, it was just the sound I needed at that moment in my life
my chemical romance is my beautiful romance, my favorite romance, my cool romance, my lovely romance, my musically amazing romance, my romance that knows me so well, and my only romance:)
Everyone has their own opinion. My opinion is that mychem tried out a new style, mixing j-rock with alternative and their usual stuff, and they fucking succeeded. Live with it, please.
Goodness, I talked to my friend saying there are too many songs about california either this past summer or two summers ago, and there's a song saying we don't need another song about californa...haha. Guess they heard us :p
I've heard them all, the point that I was trying to prove was that MCR hasn't changed, still Gerard, Mikey, Frank, and any others that there may be. ( I don't review members of the band a whole lot of the time). But yeah, they're still the same, no old MCR, no new MCR, the only differences are the different songs of their different albums.

Actually, Boy Division was written first. That's why they wrote this song.
TopHats0nCats maybe this song is a response to CW after they cancelled it.
boy division was the last song about california we needed
🥲👍

TRUE

That’s because they are from Oakland and the early shit was about the disastrous homes and streets the roamed.
this song feels like sitting on the roof of your house the night before you move away for the first time. You look out over the place you grew up as the sun sets and day turns to night and you accept the fact that you'll never again be who you used to be.
