What type of weapon do you think I found? At first, I thought it was a sub machine gun. However, after researching I believe its a rifle. I'm not 100% sure, but what do you think?
That is DEFINITELY A Marlin Camp Carbine, either a 9mm or a .45 acp! Shape, Size, charging handle, whole lower is EXACTLY the same! Being in fresh water that ROTTED, must have been there since the creation of that gun when it was new??? I would say between 1985-99, in that time period, when they were made?
*The gun is a simi auto 9mm Marlin camp 9. looks like the barrel has been chopped off. these where produced from 1985-1999 in good condition they can get over $1000.00*
esquad 540 People were saying this look like a Thompson but that wouldn’t explain how where you put the mag had a diagonal slot instead of just open. Glad I finally figured it out thank to you
Definitely Marlin Camp Carbine 9mm. It also appears to have the barrel cut which would make it an illegal SBR(short barrel rifle). Possession of a unregistered SBR is a federal offense and I would recommend turning it in. Not trying to play UA-cam police, just cover you butt. Cool find for sure
Before anyone says it’s a Thompson SMG or a MP40, google those two weapons and take a good look at them and ask yourself this, “is the rifle in the video consistent with the pattern of either weapon?” Also it’s a marlin camp carbine.
It’s a marlin camp carbine. It’s a semi auto 9mm rifle. As you said the stock is missing. It looks to me like the barrel has been shortened. If it did have the stock it would be considered a short barreled rifle. I think since the barrel had been shortened it might have something to do with the mafia you were talking about.
Marlin Camp 9. It takes 9mm rounds and is often used for hunting. Some models come with a stock that is part of the lower receiver but the one you found shows that is had a stock that wasn’t part of the main body. You can tell that it is a Marlin Camp 9 by the magazine weld and by the charging handle. It’s not a Thomas (Tommy Gun) because the charging handle would be at top and would have a closed bolt. The Thomas doesn’t have a big mag weld. I hope this comment helps. Ps I love your videos and I like when you find guns.
Jo fiend, FOR YOUR SAFETY PLS READ. If you ever actually find something you might believe is an explosive, don't try to throw it around while you are in the water with it. The reason for this is that if a detonation would happen then you could get injured by the pressure that this causes even if you don't get hit by anything. Still have fun, keep diving and showing us so much cool stuff. Rock on.
It was a Marlin camp carbine 45 with a cutoff barrel, probably a cutoff stock too. Look at the angle of the magazine well and the position of the action.
Best guess is Marlin Camp Carbine. It's not a Thompson or an MP40. Thompsons don't have mag wells incorporated into the grip and are top cocking, open bolt subguns. MPs don't have wood furniture and the FCG is separate from the magazine well. After some basic digging it looks like a Marlin Camp Carbine
Marlin Camp Carbine is a self-loading carbine chambered for either 9mm Parabellum or .45 ACP, formerly manufactured by Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut. The carbine has been discontinued since 1999.
It's a semi-automatic Marlin Camp 9mm rifle, the wood that covered the body has deteriorated leaving you with only the metal underneath. Some of the barrel fell off too.
People saying that's a Thompson have no idea what that gun is. Thompson has a top charging handle and doesn't have a magwell to accommodate the drum mag. That is a Marlin Camp Carbine.
Is nobody gonna talk about how savage that baby turtle was?😂 Turned on Jack and was like “I don’t care if you’re a thousand times bigger than me!! I’ll still bite you!” Lmao
you're honestly closer than anyone else. everyone learns stuff from BF and COD. I talked to my brother, a gun enthusiast, and he said its probably some kind of pistol.
To everyone who thinks it’s a Thompson variation. It’s not. Yes the receiver may look similar to the Thompson design but it never had a mag well like that. Also where are people getting mp40 from it looks nothing like an mp40. It’s a marlin 9mm carbine.
DALLMYD greetings from Snowdonia North Wales, it's 1am and your videos have become my nightly routine keep up the good work and I'll keep recommending your channel!!
Last night I found your channel and I was so interested in it that I watched all of ur scuba diving videos , till 11pm till 7 am . Keep doing what you’re doing ❤️
relax, it's just a common little plinking/hunting rifle, the *Marlin Camp Carbine* , probably chambered in 9mm. Not sure why so many people thinks it's a Thompson, Tommy guns don't have mag well and isn't even bent back with its mag seated, I don't see the resemblance.
This is a Marlin Camp Rifle... It shoots pistol caliber 9mm or .45 depending on chamber...It would be 1965 to 1980 vintage probably and fell out of someones gear bag or canoe along with all the knives I think..."alcohol" is also a huge factor here seeing all the beer cans on the river-bottom...interesting hobby you have there...watch out for broken glass and protruding rusty nails as you dig into the gravel and muck......
boudreau110 I agree with you on the rifle but one detail you got wrong is they were produced from 1985-1999. And for as to how it got in the river I’ll offer you a better theory, take a look at the barrel it’s been cut down a few inches likely making it an SBR and I’d have to guess not many Camp Carbines have ever been SBR’d so I’d have to assume that it was chopped up illegally by a criminal. Said criminal likely used the gun in a crime then tossed the gun in the river.
The weapon is a Marlin Camp Carbine. It shoots .45 ACP rounds (a pistol round). It was produced from 1985-1999. This one, interestedly has had the barrel sawn off by about 6-8 inches with out a doubt (an illegal modification). Potentially also might have had the stock cut off or shortened. you would be able to use any size of magazine on it, potentially including drum mags. Most likely somehow tied to crime, although much later than the mobsters.
Its a modded Marlin model carbine, the stuck should be all wood but here it looks modded with a hinge for a metal (non)folding stock. Barrel looks cut down too so maybe another hint that it’s been modded.
It's definitely a Marlin camp carbine. The barrel looks illegally short, maybe corroded away or was cut down beforehand. Either way it definitely wasn't a Thompson or mp40 or any military submachine gun as the plastic mag well is a dead giveaway.
What type of weapon do you think I found? At first, I thought it was a sub machine gun. However, after researching I believe its a rifle. I'm not 100% sure, but what do you think?
DALLMYD LOVE YAAAA!!
You do know that a sub machune gun only fires pistol bullets right
Shotgun
DALLMYD all I know is its cool
That hi point was definitely a murder weapon
That is DEFINITELY A Marlin Camp Carbine, either a 9mm or a .45 acp! Shape, Size, charging handle, whole lower is EXACTLY the same! Wew seriously? .-. Ok... just i search and yes...ITS THE SAME :3 !
yes it is camp carabine
Indeed, finally someone not saying tommy gun
Thank you! Sadly I already got terminal brain cancer from reading all the comments about how it's anything but a Marlin Camp Carbine.
8:44 You definitely know what it is 😉
*The gun is a simi auto 9mm Marlin camp 9. looks like the barrel has been chopped off. these where produced from 1985-1999 in good condition they can get over $1000.00*
You mean the stock was chopped off?
it is a marlin camp carbine. sawed off.
esquad 540 People were saying this look like a Thompson but that wouldn’t explain how where you put the mag had a diagonal slot instead of just open. Glad I finally figured it out thank to you

DALLMYD the gun you found is a Marlin Camp Carbine either it was a 9mm or a .45 ACP. It was made by Marlin Firearms Company from 1985 til 1999.
Jesus, you know your stuff
Am i the only one laughing at the beginning? XD
The second time I laughed because I realized what it was lol
Nope
The fact that they screamed because of a turtle then no your not the only person 🤣
Before anyone says it’s a Thompson SMG or a MP40, google those two weapons and take a good look at them and ask yourself this, “is the rifle in the video consistent with the pattern of either weapon?”

Jake: cmere turtle turtle.
Turtle: Oh not today big boy!
Not even 2 minutes into the video and I’m cracking up when at 1:43 jake realizes he found a butt plug

1:47 when he realized it was a butt plug 😂
That's what that was? I thought it was some kind of granade
The weapon is a marlin camp 9mm carbine with a cut down barrel. You can tell by the plastic trigger guard and extended magazine tube.
^^This
That is a marlin camp carbine with a sawed off barrel... a felony to posess.
People pay attention. Thompsons or M128 have charging handles on the top, not the side. Its is 100% a Marlin camp 9.
It was a Marlin camp carbine 45 with a cutoff barrel, probably a cutoff stock too.
Look at the angle of the magazine well and the position of the action.
Yup, agreed.
That gun is definitely a Marlin Camp Carbine. Google it, its a perfect match.
That is a Marlin 9 Camp Rifle it uses 9mm Parabellum or .45 ACP. The rifle was discontinued since 1999.
45 acp tommy commonly used around 1978 but nice job
shield breaker watching CoD: WWII doesn't make you a weapons expert
@@Seygem what is cod
It’s a Marlin Camp 9 in 9mm. The magazine/trigger housing is plastic. The barrel looks like it has been cut off so it’s probably an illegal SBR.
Best guess is Marlin Camp Carbine.
It's not a Thompson or an MP40. Thompsons don't have mag wells incorporated into the grip and are top cocking, open bolt subguns. MPs don't have wood furniture and the FCG is separate from the magazine well.

yep 9mm Marlin Model 9 Camp Carbine
The gun that Jake found was a Marlin Camp Carbine and it was made between 1985 - 1999 and not a gangster day gun.
When u grabbed the boot and were “checking for bones” tripped me the hell out
Marlin Camp Carbine, most likely 45 acp, possibly 9mm. Looks like the barrel may have been hacked short.
Marlin Camp 9 or 45 -1980 or newer semi-auto rifle. It looks like the barrel was chopped making it illegal to possess.
Give this man a new pair of gloves.
why
That rifle is what is left of a Marlin Camp rifle in 9mm. Was a magazine fed rifle.
1:56 dude that totally a buttplug😂
ur a buttplug
Marlin Camp Carbine is a self-loading carbine chambered for either 9mm Parabellum or .45 ACP, formerly manufactured by Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut. The carbine has been discontinued since 1999.
Dragonbolt 200 yes sir it is!
Thx man it took a while too figure it out but my gun knowledge kick in when I was thing rust and wood
It's a semi-automatic Marlin Camp 9mm rifle, the wood that covered the body has deteriorated leaving you with only the metal underneath. Some of the barrel fell off too.
Right you are! Good gob!
How did you figure that out??Your a fricken genius
LMAO 1:39 WAS A BUTT PLUG
People saying that's a Thompson have no idea what that gun is. Thompson has a top charging handle and doesn't have a magwell to accommodate the drum mag.
That is a Marlin Camp Carbine.
It's a Marlin Camp Carbine can be cambered in 45 acp. or 9mm
I love how you chased the turtle then it chased you 😂😂😂😂
You guys should come to Amsterdam to explore the canals :D
it's a marlin camp carbine, 9mm or 45 caliber
turtle: BOI! DONT YOU TRY TOUCH MY BOOTY!!! *Naruto runs after DALLMYD*
I just started watching your videos not to long ago and I have been binge watching. I find it crazy the amount of things you find especially guns!!!
The gun is a Marlin Model 9, not a "tommy gun" or "Thompson Submachine Gun"
When I first saw that and you threw it, I for real thought it was a buttplug and you were grossed out lol
“When victims stand up to bullies” 😂 0:00
Yall, it's a marlin camp carbine chambered in .45acp or 9mm, made in the 80's or 90's, not a Thompson, not an m1carbine.
Marlin camp carbine in 9mm.
I found a place for you guys to check out it's called Ginnie Springs Florida. Beautiful blue waters.
I'm crying with laughter at that little Turtle... shows you not to mess with the little ones Big Boy 😂
Is nobody gonna talk about how savage that baby turtle was?😂 Turned on Jack and was like “I don’t care if you’re a thousand times bigger than me!! I’ll still bite you!” Lmao
I thought he saw something scary or realized something was chasing him
You should bring as flashlight/headlight for these darker areas.
Jake!!! When are you going to get new gloves?!?
Definitely it's a Marlin Camp gun. I think they discontinued production of that model in 1999
Agreed seems to be an older model
www.alpharubicon.com/leo/images/marlincamp9war4.jpg
So hilarious when he starts to scream once the turtles turn around and chase him :-D
Btw that thing u thought was a mortar might be a rusted butt plug 😂
That intro clip of the turtle kills me EVERYTIME!!😂😂😂💀❤❤🐢🐢
His screaming from the turtle was funny
It's definitely a Marlin Camp Carbine. Magazine width seems really big for a pistol round though?
Every time he finds a bottle I secretly hope there’s a note inside 😔
yo!!! that's a super soaker 2000
you're honestly closer than anyone else. everyone learns stuff from BF and COD. I talked to my brother, a gun enthusiast, and he said its probably some kind of pistol.
ITT: People just naming guns they saw in a video game once.
Jake: *chase turtle*
Turtle: oh how the turned have tables
Did anyone else laugh as hard as me In the beginning when the turtle chased him back😂😂
he almost got me!! haha
DALLMYD omgggg helllo Jake!! I’m glad you are okay and it didn’t hurt you!😊
The intro was hilarious
Glass bottles are worth money and collectable please keep a record
I just love to Jake and his friends get attacked by fishes and turtles. It cracks me up so much I just watch it over and over again.
Somehow, I love that opening 🤣
To everyone who thinks it’s a Thompson variation. It’s not. Yes the receiver may look similar to the Thompson design but it never had a mag well like that. Also where are people getting mp40 from it looks nothing like an mp40. It’s a marlin 9mm carbine.
mp40's are left side charging. and thompsons have a forward ejection port
People who know nothing about firearms should stop saying what it is. It certainly isn't a Thompson sub machine gun.
DALLMYD greetings from Snowdonia North Wales, it's 1am and your videos have become my nightly routine keep up the good work and I'll keep recommending your channel!!
Get new gloves 😭
The "pitch fork" is actually the fork off a bike. It's the part the holds the front wheel.
Your scream like a little girl when that little turtle turn back lol that's epic.
yep
Last night I found your channel and I was so interested in it that I watched all of ur scuba diving videos , till 11pm till 7 am . Keep doing what you’re doing ❤️
Marlin Model 9 Semi-Auto 9mm Carbine
Marlin camp 9 is the gun
It’s 100% a Marlin Camp 9 rifle. Feel free to look it up on google images. Everything looks identical.
Big Mak finally someone who knows it’s not a Thompson
Yeet Yeet Potato Skeet kids who sit on call of duty and that’s the only way they know about guns are the ones that say it’s a Thompson
relax, it's just a common little plinking/hunting rifle, the *Marlin Camp Carbine* , probably chambered in 9mm. Not sure why so many people thinks it's a Thompson, Tommy guns don't have mag well and isn't even bent back with its mag seated, I don't see the resemblance.

That "S-Wrench" is a great find. I believe it's early 1900's. My daughter collects them.
U sure..?
Marlin Model 9 Camp Carbine
The turtle 😂 that boot gave me weird creepy vibes.
Admit it you thought it was a buttplug not a mortar.lol
Mythic drum gun

Andrew Wittwer I concur
Definitely a Marlin Camp Carbine. Looks like the barrel has been chopped down.
Na
it's 100% a Marlin Camp 9mm. Upvote this so he sees. Google search for images ;) Cool find!
you are definitely right
Finally somebody who doesn't think its a gun from WW2
(The mag well is what gives it away)

Looks like a marlin camp 9. Produced between 1985 and 1999.
"its a tommy gun" "Its a MP40" *Hits head with palm

I laughed so hard when that turtle ran at him and jake just freaked the f out 😂😂😭😭
