Ashley Winstead writes really mediocre romance. Fool Me Once is just a mess and the cheating was not for me. Plus I was very bored with the politics. I'll be reading Midnight is the darkest hour soon but I'm currently reading The Last Housewife and I just finished In My Dreams I Hold A Knife which I didn't love because I thought it was a good idea to read all of Winstead's books which I'm slightly regretting. I hated Kiss Her Once for Me, the romance made no sense to me. How can you have a demisexual character who fell in love instantly in one day knowing nothing about the love interest. It didn't feel like great representation to me and her and the guy had more chemistry. I dnf'd The Will of the many, it was so boring and I love fantasy.
I dnf'd Kiss Her Once For Me within the first few chapters and thought maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it at that time. Happy to hear it's actually terrible.

Honestly I loved to paradise and age of vice. Definitely have read a lot worse books
