Love the video! Another 200 days seems cool, but I'd also love to see you handle a one block skyblock but you get random drops every x seconds! You're a good builder, so a far more chaotic palate would be great to see(no growing trees for building?) ;) Keep at it whatever you do! You got yourself a new sub 🌻

i think mob farms need some space from other entities or you just need full blocks bc if you mad it out of slabs that might have been the problem
It depended I think on whether they were bottom slabs or top slabs. I didn't personally catch which one the floor was made of, but if it was bottom slabs then yeah they would have stopped the spawning.

@@i_iz_boni no. It doesn't depend. If it's a slab it doesn't spawn. Learned that the hard way... I had to rebuild my grinder for that mistake

Mobs need a two block high space to spawn, you only had a block and a slab high. Thats why the mobfarm didnt work.
Can you explain further how to build on in a legit survival?

@@devonwilliams5122 I never tried building one myself but it is pretty simple. You pretty much just need to build a box in the air with some trapdoors placed in holes so that the mobs think there is a solid block and fall.
the amount of dogs you had there reminded me of my worlds I had with my older brother forever ago, not because we had a shit ton of dogs but because there was always one thing I would do to a very extreme extent in the worlds I shared with him, one of my favorites was that time I got like 7 inventory Fulls of flint and the other time I surrounded an entire island in sugar cane for literally no reason. miss those days.

Waterlogged slabs would be actually the best to protect from explosion around the luckyblock (and I think that it works even if the water is under)

Personally, you should've made another platform at the other side or extend the platform a little bit more, then build a small wall with door in front just in case a structure spawned and ate one of your chests.
worse came to worst, a charged creeper might pop out and you can just close the door then walks away.. Better safe than sorry.
Shield would also do wonders with pretty much every mob, but its pretty risky taking account that the platform below you might explode, sending you to the void below. Even better idea, use both.

To cheer you up im plaing since long time and got the knowlege of how to set up a end portal last summer. So you aren't the only one

I was such a paranoid person that I'll most likely have everything in hand if I had the ability to do so lmao..
-make a small 1x1 chamber in case a mob spawn, with a trapdoor and door in between. that way I can just close the door when a mob spawn, and Bob or charged creeper wouldn't kill me.
-build an extra layer, with water on top just in case I fell into the void due to the lucky block trolling me.
-always have a shield and bucket of water on hand
- play it on a server, so if a chunk of tnt shows up I can just dc and reconnect later after it disappears. The water on the layer below should save me from the fall
- always have the end chest in my inventory, Its hardcore anyway...
these types of videos are a dime a dozen but ur personality and editing really makes a difference to make these vids entertaining and great brother

Me tearing my hair out at the part when you constantly repair your slab platform from TNT explosions when you could have waterlogged them to prevent them from getting destroyed every time... Because waterlogged blocks keep the blast resistance of water

@@ITSPOPPERS also slabs in the mob grinder (the ones you use as the cover as well for the spawn area) is the reason why mobs arent spawning. Slabs at the top let in enough light to stop Mobs from spawning. Also (50/50 on this) mobs doesn't spawn on slabs

@@shelymarks952 you can see when they break from stuff that he does it with some of them as well because the water is under them but the tnt most explodes on top of the slabs so I don’t really think it matters much tbh

Dude, you should try 100 days in Minecraft 1.19 floating islands world. I've played it and it's really fun. The most challenging part for me is to go to the other islands and find some irons. But that is what makes it super fun. And you get beautiful views too, especially if you're in lush cave biomes because now you can find them outside, on the island, instead of in a cave/inside those islands. If you want to try it, there are some datapacks that you can find

You can upgrade your cobble stone generator by adding a hopper and chest to stop the lava from destroying so many blocks.
