I hope this message finds you well. I have a suggestion from one arborist to another, you should never use a single stage carabiner for speed lining. Especially if there are houses underneath. I have made this mistake at the beginning of my career and I destroyed the customers roof. The way the carabiner twisted around the rope it opened the gate and the branch fell down on the house. Anyway I love watching your videos keep up the good work.
You guys are crazy :) .... I would never cut something that big. I would cut it bit by bit from top to bottom = safety first! Otherwise, good job. Greetings. Вие момчета сте луди :) .... Аз никога не бих отрязал толкова голямо нещо. Щях да го режа малко по малко от горе на долу = безопастността на първо място! Иначе добра работа. Поздрави.
I've used the screw-in ground anchors for speedlining. I was doing bigger poplar limbs and I had 2 of them screwed into a heavy clay soil. They worked but got bent in the process.
I have tried to explain to my crew if it’s in the safe zone then it’s a win Doesn’t matter if I actually hit the empty water bottle or not They don’t see it that way 🤷🏼♂️
@@Eagertreecleaner2018 I thought your channel name was Eagle Tree Cleaner. 😳😲 I was like, daaang, that's brutal! 😆 We have bald eagles in some of our trees. Haven't come across a nest though. 🤞 Don't think I could cut the tree down if I did. Would be interesting.
@@VeteranTreeService 😂 eagle tree cleaner would be a riot, but no we have them here too in the north east I saw one the other day. I admire your videos hard work and dedication thank you for taking the time to respond to me. God bless. 🇺🇸🦅
Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe if you haven't already!
Great job!
Set this to watch later today with a nice cold beverage. Might pick your brain on your editing process one day.

It's so crazy you had to say it twice. 😆 JK.
Nevermind, I just hit the translate button and I read it twice. 😆

👍 Awesome. I haven't tried it yet but figured it would work.
Looking forward to a video.

Well if you hadn’t put the 4 by 4’s out there it woulda been a perfect shot! All good!
Gosh darn 4x4s!
I care. I listen.
👍
How long does the cedar smell nice? When I’m cutting cedar it’s about an hour and then I’m done with it. Port Orford is like 5 minutes!
I think the 2x4’s would probably work well alot better than laminate or chip boards 😵
I haven't used those before. These trees are so heavy, they'll crush almost anything they fall on.
What branch of service are you in? Are all of you in the same service and stationed at the same base?
Just me. Air Force. Going on 19 Years.
Do you round file, square file or square grind?
That's a round file chain.
I just want to know if it would have broken the four by fours but judging from the little crater it left it probably would have LOL
Yep
Had there been an incident where the ropes give in while someone was in the tree if there has been a lot of usage and someone didn't check them?
Not that I'm aware of. We're all keeping an eye on rope conditions.
Thank God. I am a big rope person and find it cold and unconfortable when even thinking of carrying the smallest dead mosqito fish@@VeteranTreeService

Haha. I'm happy to keep trees off buildings. It's a win in my book however, I'm still perfecting my trade.
I wouldn’t say that small part of the hinge had that much pull I think it was mostly the skid not pulling inline w the face u put in
What is that plastic shovel called?
Plastic shovel. 🤷♂️ 😂 Got it off Amazon.
